the problem is that the MCU is taking time and budget away from legitimately good productions by having a weaker structure/script and less creative directing than the average low budget action movie (see john wick) which often has better entertainment value regardless, just by replacing everything worthwhile about cinema with fucking putrid CGI and post credit ads which is everything the audience for these movies cares about

At least comic books can be helpful as it deals with interactions between recurring concepts and archetypes, usually with an emphasis on balance and responsibility coming through.
