because the infinity gauntlet, despite the name, isnt actually infinite in power. the thing is fried at the end of infinity war after thanos snaps half the universe. Eventually the thing would break if he just kept shitting out resources with it and you'd be back at square one on a much bigger scale this time.

They had twenty-two movies to set this shit up, and they did an absolutely abysmal job. How cool would it have been to get after-credits scenes that actually told a story with Thanos? You know, shit like him researching, experimenting, maybe starting with where he got the Mind Stone in the first place. You could show him coming to understand how the Stones actually function, how their power, while capable of virtually anything on a local scale, they require the Power Stone to truly manipulate things on a universal scale.

Instead, all we get is bullshit teases that do basically nothing.
