The show is rushed. They definitely could use another season or two at the very least. The ending is supposed to be the exciting part, but they did some watered down version of Dany’s Conquest where she does basically nothing except burn some carts with ONE fucking dragon that’s all she did after all those years of prepping for that moment.

As someone who has zero interest in the books, I have to say that all of his explanations are just dogshit. Literally worse than anime series being filled with fillers because the manga series isn't complete. There is literally no way he needs that much time for the books because it's clearly marketing.
