If they were such an advanced and powerful people then why aren't they restoring Nidavellir and literally building a new Asgard, or terraforming some planet to be the new Asgard. The next big crossover/New Avenger event is looking like it could be Secret Invasion. They aren't done with the Skrulls yet, there's still the bad faction out there. It would be a step down from Thanos but it's a different type of conflict, they can roll with the "trust no one" marketing campaign. Captain Marvel basically served as the Captain America: First Avenger for the next phase in terms of setting up a major plot device (Tesseract/Skrulls). They might start to lay hints that certain characters/heroes in the movies are actually Skrulls in disguise and it'll all culminate in Avengers: Secret InVasion (see what I did there).

Secret Invasion might be what connects the Disney + shows to the movies since Feige said they'd crossover in major ways. Maybe Bucky and Falcon find out some terrorists are secretly Skrulls, Vision and Wanda's neighbors are Skrulls refugees etc. Same shit with the movies, Wong is a Skrull, MJ is a Skrull, Shuri is a Skrull, they've been replaced secretly. Then they all fight super skrulls in Avengers.

Also notice how they target world leaders, Black Panther is guaranteed to be on the next Avengers roster and his status as a king could very well mean he'll be replaced by a Skrull. Feige says they have a whole phase planned out before they move onto X-Men/F4 stuff so we won't be getting that for another 10 years. Besides Guardians 3 and Strange I think I'll be zoning out for this next phase.

The issue is that IW and Ragnarok Thor had a balance. The comedy and quips were how he dealt. Heck you could spin some fanfics about him trying to mimic Tony's coping mechanisms since they're friends or some shit.
But in Endgame everything about his struggles and emotions was a joke. And visually he was made a joke. Even in the one serious scene with his mother it was still ridiculous because of the stupid fucking beer gut.

In Ragnarok, Thor's arc is about accepting his duty to his people, the burden of a king (the removal of his eye, which Infinity War waved away by giving him an unnecessary glass eye, represented his coming into his father's throne and his maturation), so his ending here is frustrating, to say the least. While I liked his bond with Rocket, I didn't understand why he decided to journey with the Guardians. Also, given how he and Valkyrie came to understand each other in Thor 3, I highly doubt she would let him wallow around for five whole years. I also dislike how his panic attack was dealt with. Thor is humorous, but he's not a joke (and this movie treated his fat as a joke, which is rather offensive). Other than the Hulk, he's the only OG Avenger I genuinely care about, and Endgame did him a huge disservice imo.
