Better that than another subscription service to subscribe to.

based disney

hulu + disney+ bundle
Fucking based

>Comcast is in talks to sell its 30% stake in Hulu to Disney, sources say.

disney bout to cop that seinfeld yerdme
confirmed slaw

>Disney has been pretty explicit in stating that Hulu will remain a different streaming product in terms of its programming than Disney+, which will be focused primarily on family-friendly material

>..which would bring Disney’s share in the streaming service to 90 percent.

how did jews takeover a very anti semitic company?

>Disney has sexually assaulted the streaming industry by wedging its massive mouse-eared penis into the butthole of competitors, literally disrupting the space

so they're going to buy thepiratebay next?

Was thinking this. I'm already hearing some backlash for the inundation of streaming services now, but if they just added like 4-5 dollars on top of a hulu subscription for disney plus, it would seem like an appealing alternative to some.

>Disney buys Hulu
And nothing of value will be lost

pirating is so 2000s. everything is legit/unlegit streaming nowadays. convenience was all people care about.

How do these companies always find ways around antitrust laws while implementing laws that keep out any competition?

>Convenience is all people care about
Not me, I care about not giving a cent to these companies that do nothing but destroy whatever little entertainment is left on television

All my torrents are downloaded and organized automatically. I can't imagine paying would make it any more convenient.

You and a small minority of people. 25 million Hulu subscribers. 148 million Netflix...and so on.

some tech savy guy(more than the average "whats a computer" crowd) who would probably not spend anyway versus "netflix and chill" crowd of people that spend even if there is nothing to watch?

Great, more content for them to censor/gut.

$. It's crazy how much power these people have. Even when these monopolies get broken up, like the telecoms did, they get back together not too long after.

the amount of influence and market share these companies have is terrifying. but sheeple love it. "Wow FOX properties can now join the marvel universe"

Imagine buying all of the major services and offering them in a bundle together to make a library that dwarf's Netflix.

Is this the next step to the Mouse's master plan?

white guilt.

country*

Well after the treaty of versailles....

The same way they took over a very anti-Semitic planet.

Are these companies FORCED to accept Disney's offer? How come nobody has told them to fuck off?

Netflix just got lucky it started early in the game. They are a household name for now. Their library has been laughable for ages. They are living/dying with their originals hoping to strike the next big thing. The mouse just wants total domination.

The Mouse is All.

The Mouse is Love.

This unfortunately doesn't mean all hulu content will now carry over to disney. In fact it'll be the opposite, with Comcast/NBC/Universal pulling their content and puttting it on their own upcoming service splintering the market yet further.

>Hulu will lose $1.5 billion this year, Disney said at its investor day last month. The company won’t turn profitable until about 2024, Disney estimated, and that’s not taking into account potential international expansion, which will come with its own added costs.

>As of today, NBC provides about 17% of Hulu’s content. NBC has no plans to remove content from Hulu, which will continue to serve as NBC’s vessel for same-season shows even after the launch of the company’s new streaming service in 2020, according to people familiar with the matter. (NBC’s streaming service will showcase the company’s library of TV shows and movies.)

The shareholders that make all the decisions think it'll boost their dividends or some shit.

Nobody wants to compete if Disney pulls their content from their sites. For Hulu that means at the very least they would lose family guy, American dad, king of the hill, and the sneedsons, if they’re still on Hulu

I think it all boils down to RISK. The mouse and it's massive wallets can wait it out, these other companies can not. Sure Netflix is valued at 167$ billion now, but for how long?

You are at the club and pic related slaps your media in the ass. what do?

Attached: maxresdefault (2).jpg (1280x720, 78K)

Jesus, is there no end to their evil?

we should break them into pieces so small that they'll never even think about merging for another century

that reminds me of that Itchy and Scratchy bit where one of them chopped up into tiny little pieces and the dust essence still gets the last laugh

Attached: EwwB5z2.jpg (1080x1321, 244K)

I can't wait till the civil war that causes it to splinter off into a bunch of armed factions

The more streaming services arise and try to compete with each other, the more you'll have to subscribe to more than one service to access your content.

And the companies will focus more on outdoing their competitors by buying rights for ridiculous amounts of cash, than developing and growing up, leading to the inevitable downfall of said company, until google, the mouse, or who ever has more cash can acquire whatever remains, and the streaming market turns into something akin to Jewtube.

too much fantasy is rotting ur brain.the only hope we have is when the sun dies out'

Google is terrible at television. If anything most in house works will stay sequestered. Everyone will hog their content.

The mouse will prevail. The only reason it waited so long is because it just wanted to pick at the pieces like the vulture that it is.

For a second I thought that said "disney to buy out Comcast".I was downright terrified.

test

Disney is gonna have like 35% of all theatrical gross this year how could you even operate a theater now that does not show Disney films and stay open. It’s a legal way to get around the paramount antitrust case and have basically an entire industry under your thumb

Attached: 1556150512098.png (1080x883, 173K)

It should be illegal to own 2 streaming services, just like Disney couldn't buy Fox News since they already own ABC

Either way Disney+ is gonna fail, Netflix is a household name now, Disney + Fox content does sound good though but Netflix just has the markershare

>Itchy and Scratchy blowing each others brains out on The Simpsons is family friendly

It is unless they say a swear then you better have some pearls nearby to clutch if you’re american

If only the Democrats cared about monopolies when it didn't help them.
The biggest flaw of our political system is, one party will sell everything it has historically stood for if the seller promises to be biased in their favor. Google, Facebook, Disney; so long as they suck leftist cock, it's okay with the Democratic party.

Doesn't Disney already own a section of fox? Does that come with Fox's streaming too or that owned by murdoch still? Still I'd say government should step in and block the deal, fire up the ol' anti-trust laws again

Walt Disney himself hired a bunch of jewish animators and coworkers at the highest levels

The rumors of him being anti-semetic were just that, there's no anecdotes of him ever saying anything antisemetic

He was also staunchly anti-union and anti-communist

>anti-union and anti-communist

oy vey

>2045
>get woken up by Mickey assistant
>leave Communal MousePod living space
>repeat the Pledge of Disney while brushing my teeth
>take the the Disney Hyperloop to work in the Silicon Valley mines
>fall to my death working in the mines for the glory of Mickey
>own nothing, have no children or woman so Disney keeps MouseCredits
>organs are havested for future workers

>Still I'd say government should step in and block the deal

and in 2024 disney buys the us federal government, checkmate!

spooky

SOMEONE FUCKING STOP THEM. THIS IS QUICKLY BECOMING A MONOPOLY OR DAMN CLOSE TO IT

Disney will buy the moon and engrave the Mickey symbol on it.

I though hulu had an even shareholder split of major studios? Was the whole point of hulu not so that there would be one service where you can get shared content from different studios? What is the point of it if it is all just owned by Disney?

Theres nothing on hulu
