Your most rewatched movie?
Your most rewatched movie?
LOTR trilogy or Star Wars OT
At least once per year
yeah i'm a faggot I know
Still pulp fiction because I was obsessed with it after its release. I know I watched the VHS 48 times before it got a bit boring. Haven't watched it in the past 20 years though.
Barney and the rainbow egg, lion King, Pokemon movie, and other shit like that I used to watch on repeat
YIKES
pic related, it's so cozy and can always put me in a good mood
Bladerunner (the good one)
Forrest Gump. Shit is too fucking comfy.
Ahh so 2049 then.
this board overuses the term Kino, but this is truly kino.
Drive
Blue Ruin
The Fifth Element or The Mask
>The Mask
my nigga
the dark knight trilogy, rewatch them every year
the least: green mile. saw it once, lost my shit and did not want to ruin that feel that i had when i first saw it
fuck you
pussy. Blade Runner with Ryan Gosling is the better one.
Guilty pleasure.
Ghostbusters. Watched it several times a year since I was around five years old, I've likely seen it well over 100 times.
Inb4 someone pretends to think I'm talking about the remake.
I had Predator and Lion King on VHS when I was a kid, so either of those.
You zoomer's wouldn't understand but back in the day if you had something on home video you fucking watched that shit multiple times.
Same here, but without the guilt.
It's not even bad, it's just so cheesy it transcends itself and is both completely ridiculous and has nothing to do with real hacking and super in touch with hacker culture and the best representation thereof.
Incidentally, pic related, my other favorite rewatch is also a paradoxical movie because it's supposed to be a subversion of the book but is so well done it subverts itself into being a faithful adaptation in spirit.
Die Hard ____________4.0
The rock
I would check out Jurassic Park from the library as a kid and watch it over and over again.
I don't know, I rewatch everything every few months because I have a shit memory.
GI Joe retaliation
Dear untergang
The thing
Starship troopers
half the time I watch it it's a dream the other half it's real
Aliens, Pulp Fiction, or Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas just by view count. All 3 of those I would just put on sometimes as a kid and play vidya or something even after I was burned out on them. Just for background.
5/5 yelling-kino
probably the matrix
quentin go away
The fuck is that page your image is from
>BLAKE (to Levene, who is attempting to pour himself a cup of coffee): Put. That coffee. Down! Coffee’s for closers only.
>Fact check: Inaccurate. Coffee is for everyone. It can be purchased at many places, and is often offered for free in offices, hotel lobbies, gas stations after local sports teams win games, teacher lounges in schools, and other locations.
space jam
The way you feel about green mile is how I feel about Amadeus. I enjoyed it so damn much that I don’t want to ruin that feeling with a rewatch.
kek, glad they cleared that up
Naked gun 1-3, airplane, major pain, predator, alien, the thing, saving privet Ryan. I've seen these movies hundreds of times and still fall asleep to them.
The entire trilogy is 10/10
not a movie, but american dad. I’ve seen every episode at least like 5 times. I grew up watching family guy and American dad on adult swim every night in bed before I went to sleep, so it’s like hardwired in my brain to watch those shows in bed.
Starship troopers
Short Circuit 2 - every day between the ages of 5 and 8
matrix 2 even though I know it's bad
Revenge of The Sith
J law sucks dick
>watching anything that has that cunt JLaw in it
Get the fuck out
not even the best scene in the movie desu
Either Batman Returns or TMNJ 2: The Secret of the Ooze. I watched both of those movies obsessively as a child. I doubt I've seen anything in adulthood as many times as I watched those 2 movies.
Not even memeing, I know every line by now.
1st is very good
2nd is trash
3rd is gay trash
I typically watch Escape from New York every Friday night.
why
watched Fight Club every day for 3 months in my teens
watched BvS dozens of times just to study the fuckery of it
watch Ant-Man on loop for 48 hours straight for no real reason
>The Fifth Element
based
Why does Gong Li look like a man but he's wearing a skirt?
Cool Runnings.
I don't rewatch films, whats the point when I know how every scene plays out?
Quite possible the perfect film
Because it's like watching a slice of life from people who lead infinitely more dangerous and exciting lives than I do. Don't misunderstand...it's not a great movie at all.
The Prestige
Interstellar
Matrix Trilogy
LotR
Princess Mononoke
ARGHHHHHHHHHH
>Interstellar
Found this incredibly not rewatchable.
That poster is so 80-ies, it makes my heart hurt.
it was barely watchable
>watched Fight Club every day for 3 months in my teens
Are you me?
No Country for Old Men, probably.
Unless you count cheesy holiday movies I’ve seen a thousand times just because someone always puts them on.
saw this in a Critical Thinking class. pretty enjoyable.
i particularly like the scene where jude law's character hears himself repeating the same story literally ad nauseam
Probably Home Alone, but that's a boring answer.
When I was a kid I watched The Brave Little Toaster a lot, partly because my brother liked it.
Also I've seen Scarface at least once a year for the last 10 or so years.
i did the same.
must've seen it at least 20 times. still love that movie
Is Passengers any good?
watchable once every two years
yeah man it's so comfy and great, a 10/10 for me, and pulp fiction too
1. Blood Diamond
2. The Dark Knight
3. A bridge too far
4. The Lost World + Jurassic Park
5. Pulp Fiction
I get the urge to watch it at least twice a year. Other films that I've watched a bunch of times that come to mind are Tinker Tailor, La Haine, and the first two Terminators
It's very comfy for me. Plus I'm easy to please
Gladiator
Matrix
Goodfellas
As a kid, back to the future
Patricians right here folks
1- 9/10
2- 7/10
3- 8/10
Ocean's 8
2/10
good call, i didn't even think of t2
High and Low
The best police procedural ever
Das Boot
Trainspotting
LotR
Probably this when I was a kid. I'd rewind the hippo birthing scene and laugh hysterically.
Apipoulai!
As a child? Starwars original trilogy. Wore out the vhs tapes.
As an adult probablt oceans 11. Maximum comfy movies. Great chemistry among the cast and probably the best written (non drama) male friendship/banter ever put to film
O11 was boring boomer garbage.
is that the Nexus from Demon Souls?
When I was a kid it was for me The Rock, True Lies, and Stargate.
Teenage, it was mostly Lotr trilogy.
As adult I don't have any other one, I kind feel bored rewatching a movie
I remember when I went to see it. There was a school yard rearranged as a cinema, and your ticket was numbered and they would pick one number to give the poster. I won a based Miami Vice poster. Made my night.
"hollywood actors are bourgeois faking to be gangsters"
G. Depardieu.
Lotr once a month more like.
Went though a stage of having it on in the background most nights, so chill
How could I forget this patrician choice right here also as kid/teenage
lost in translation on a technicality because I watch it to go to sleep at night...
Same, but add also
>Terminator 2
>Wayne's World
>The Thing
>Dredd
Back to the Future, Alien, Aliens, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
not the best die hard but I'll be damned if I can't admit its the most rewatchable. Has great pacing and the best action set peices of the series
so do most women. your point?
YOU MAY HAVE FOOLED THE FUCKS IN THE LEAGUE OFFICE, BUT YOU DONT FOOL JESUS
I win for most obscure choice. It's been on Youtube for years and I rewatch it all the time. It's so satisfying despite some less then stellar Russian accents
I cant get enough of this movie, the cinematography and the story and the music makes this movie a phenomenal cinematic experience
Based.
The movie is fun to watch. But the color scheme they choose was awful.
Utena movie
Hackers
Pump Up the Volume
Drive
Rocky IV
BASED
I saw the ending when I was a kid on vacation in the mountains and it looked gorgeous. I told myself I'd watch it one day because it looked spectacular and 14 years later, last year I saw it. It was incredible
Contact
I need to watch this again.
donnie darko
Contact was incredible. Interstellar is not even 1/100th the movie this is.
Patrician taste user
It's the one and only TRU Hard SF film
Multiple times a day, during nearly 2 months. Was on "holiday" with my family in a shithole when I was a kid. Stayed in my room for the trip.
Cinéma
would have been a good list without game of quips
I miss good action films.
Road to Perdition
Elite Squad
End of Watch
Pokemon 2000
I had a cassette and watched it over and over.
The Matrix
Black Hawk Down, i think.
Ghostbusters and Willy Wonka. My parents sent me off to my grand parents every summer in the country, barely even got television over the antenna on the roof so we just watched the same handful of VHS tapes they had.
Iron Man 1.
Yes, i hate all other capeshit.
a dino riders vhs, had ads for an rc car before the main show
Who's filing the flight plan?
Blade Runner
Miami Vice
Heat
Navy Seals
Ittin.
300
used to watch it every other week with my father
Blade runner(original)
Lotr trilogy
Star wars ot
lost in translation
Passengers
Constantine (movie)
Cloud atlas
Conan
Sword in the Stone
Caddyshack
Read the book.
The movie had to cut all the best stuff out to make it fit the run time. My favorite part is about how the whole signal and machine was more of a trick to help intelligent species stop their self destructive infighting and learn to unite to work for a common goal.
The technology and resources to build the machine were intentionally designed to take planet wide resources and cooperation to construct.
Also the secret message in pi in the epilogue was neat.
Nobody cares. What do I watch? Nobody cares. What do you watch? Nobody cares.
Watch what you like and stop being a faggot thinking you're impressing anyone here, or that your choices matter, at all.
I did start reading it but I dropped it, don't know why. I want to pick it up again, though.
kino
Kiss kiss bang bang
Quite possibly the most comfiest movie ever made. I would rent this at blockbusters and have it on repeat on my ps2 all day and night.
The prestige. I show it to people and if they don't get it I know they are retarded and cut ties.
I love it for the bad fake american accents, and how much time is spent on leglolegs only for him to fall out of the fucking helicopter.
>but I dropped it, don't know why
The part where Sagan talks about Ellie growing up and her burgeoning sexuality is pretty painful to read.
Watch this shit every year, I just love it and it's not even that good
Plot twist: I also watch it dubbed in my native language
eyes wide shut
it is literally the greatest contribution to cinema
Mummy Trilogy, the brendan ones
>it's not even that good
It's pretty good.
>The thing
ayyy my boy
Dr. Strangelove
>MR. PRESIDENT, WE CAN NOT ALLOW FOR A MINE SHAFT GAP
I mean it's good, but not like so fucking good that I shouldn't be able to go a year without seeing Kurt's hairy chest and Martin's teenage daughter
Looking back at it, the Brave Little Toaster was creepy as fuck. My mom was always creeped out by and and wondered why me and my sister weren’t.
Either Conan the Barbarian or the True Grit remake
Probably Departed for me, also, I've seen a couple of post Passengers, is it good? I missed it when it came out and forgot about it.
Based.
I did the same except swap Fight Club with Scarface
unironically this
t. boomer
that movie fucking sucked you absolute garbage bin, but I'll fight to the death for your right to enjoy it
Based, I've seen it so many times but every time he pulls out the knife I get butterflies
Fury road I've seen countless times, also
Every wes anderson film
No country for old men
Drive
clerks, the founder, glory
I'm watching the TV show for the first time right now, it's really incredibly well done. Even in the moments that strike me as cliche, I realize they are cliche because every cop show was ripping of Miami Vice for the past three decades. There is some incredible cinematography, music, set design, locations, and wardrobe and as a frequent /k/ poster I love that they mostly get guns and gun fights correct, especially for the law enforcement training of the day. 10/10, watch it if you haven't.
Probably Jurassic Park, my cousin and I used to be obsessed about that movie
Last Crusade always and forever. Pure kino.
thoughts on new ghost busters?
Brain's squeeze, mmph
To reiterate, if you haven't watched the TV series then you need to, it makes me wish I had a time machine to go back to Miami in the 80's.
Either this or Raising Arizona
I had this on dvd and I watched it on my mom's laptop all the time in the middle of the night
Rewatching only serves to highlight the flaws and show how far up his own ass Nolan's head is now.
Far better than I thought it would be. Legit space kino.
>You can't win
>XENIA! I! CAN'T! BREAATHE!
>I AM INVINCIBLE!
>For England James?
I can probably recite Goldeneye word for word at this point
#2 is so bad it's not even watchable.
1st and 3rd are both good.
WHERE'D YOU LEARN YOUR TRADE, YOU STUPID FUCKING CUNT? WHAT YOU ARE *HIRED* FOR IS TO *HELP* US. TO HELP US! *NOT.* TO FUCK US UP!
Super boring. Hate these kungfu movies where people float. Fuck off.
My favorite movie by far. Apprehensive about reading the book, since it's probably better
This one doesn't really count as watching it is basically an annual holiday here.
Only the best.
NOBODY SCREWS WITH BORIS GRISHENKO
SPIKED THEM
SLUGHEADS
Fuck Boris is BASED
I've seen it 4 times now lol
Kung Pow Enter the Fist, or Star Wars
obviously
Hot Fuzz
X men 2
They're right in front of you and they open very large doors
Leaving las Vegas
I think I've watched Shrek the most.
Guyver the dark hero
Interstellar
Titanic
Robocop 1 and 3
LOTR & star wars
Countless times I couldn't even hazard a guess
Mein Fuhrer...
Unironically The Room, mostly because I watch it on every date before I give them the pipe
BASED
Watched it everyday as a kid. This or Evil Dead 2
>My favorite movie by far. Apprehensive about reading the book, since it's probably better
Movie actually holds up on its own
But at the end there's no real question about whether or not it happened because the entire crew went through the gate instead of just the main character, and they all talked with each other on the other side and their memories all line up
>But at the end there's no real question about whether or not it happened
The hours of static footage in the film don't really make that answer ambiguous either.
Heat
hell yeah
Ed Harris is especially great in that one.
Training Day
>1. Blood Diamond
kino
sober? probably Goodfellas.
after I just got home alone drunk?
Machete. Fuck, I probably watch that movie at least once a month.
Batmane '89, Casino Royale, Cocktail, and Wings Of Desire
Not sure which I've seen the most but but pretty certain I've seen each over 20 times all the way through. Letters From Iwo Jima is probably up there too
I have never rewatched a movie. It would ruin its state of perfection.
Man you haven't lived if you haven't gotten absolutely shitfaced and watched Cocktail twice in one sitting
Finals Space did it better.
Chookity.
I watched Paint You Wagon about a thousand times
All great movies need to be watched at least 3 times to fully appreciate them. Just don't watch them too soon after the last time, space the viewings at least a year apart.
It's almost time to watch it again. I must have seen it literally over a hundred times. Big nostalgia for me.
BOOOOORRR EEEES
Not a huge fan but it's certainly the most quotable Bond movie, I'll give it that.
>SLUGHEADS
BvS
i'm getting ready for the JL Snyder cut
I've seen The World's End a minimum of 50 times. There was a point where I had the entire script memorized. It's not even my favorite Edgar Wright movie.
demonic quads and you blow it on a shitforbrains spelling of 80's
I watched Aliens, The Thing, Starship Troopers, Dawn of The Dead (original) and Braindead (Dead Alive) so much from childhood to adulthood that no other films will ever be able to catch up even if I never watched any of these films again
based and heropilled
directors cut of course.
literally based and redpilled
This, specifically the Two Towers
If this isn't yours, get off Yea Forums
It's just fun.
god ridley scott fucking sucks
my finger points
why is nearly every set packed with extras who just sit in the background verbally reacting to what the main characters are talking about
>multiculturalism done right nothing but stereotypes? Check
>action movie filled with homoerotic subtext? Check
>infinitely quotable? Check
>HAMMIEST GOD DAMN VILLIAN OF ALL TYPE? CHECK!
Batman v. Superman director's cut
Berserk: Golden Age Arc trilogy
