Implying it isn't.
Benedict Cumberbatch is a good actor and the cases are at least more interesting than most movies.
Tv series are often bad.
it has an awful moriarty
that faggot is a fucking faggot
You unironically need to go back to fucking tumblr
>TV series are often bad
You picked one of the worst
For what reason though?
People talked about hannibal here which is good and all, but the cases suck and you can't even guess the culprits in all of them.
>spoiler
Unironically because you're gay.
Ben Cumberbatch is alright, but post season 2 the story really went to shit. Even RDJ's Sherlock Holmes still has a more consistent story quality and remain relatively decent. Also, Jared Harris is way better as Moriarty than Andrew Scott.
>the killing
I liked this show, it's the only thing that goofy fucker has been decent in.
I agree last part went over the top and lost the original touch, but the first half is way better than your average detective show.
Moriarty was underwhelming, but the final episode featuring him was really nice.

The Rivals of Sherlock Holmes, british tv series from the 1970s
The programme presented adaptations of short mystery, suspense or crime stories featuring, as the title suggests, detectives who were literary contemporaries of Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes.

Why would anyone watch anything with subpar acting and poor budget?
Inspector Gadget
Ha ha ha ha ha. No.
But seriously. Jeremy Brett’s Holmes and Jonathan Creek are the only acceptable answers.
I like them sherlock holmes movies starring Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce. I love all about a dozen of them were made and its available in bluray or youtube. They made a really good pair
Yeah. Huge fan of the Donald pleasance Carnacki one (horse of the invisible).
Endeavour is pretty good imo
What about movies instead?
Gone Girl may not be a proper detective story, but I found it rather interesting and well-written myself.
