So did he just forgive him for killing his father?
So did he just forgive him for killing his father?
yes theres more important stuff at stake
Tysha stuff
I guess he forgot about it.
how do you forget about your father's assassination and killer?
It’s weird how they didn’t talk about it, hopefully they address it later.
All I can say is that Jamie and Tywin didn’t see eye to eye on most things
it didn't look like he hated him tho
Because in the Games of Throne universe humans aren't exactly like humans in our world; they have lower IQ -this is made evident by the fact that it took them 10,000 years to go from the bronze age to medieval technology) and they don't retain information very well (this is made evident by the fact many characters in the show seem to forget important and personal information all the time)
He didn't like his father either. Jamie wanted to be a "Real" knight, his father slapped that fantasy/dream out of him and said he would inherit. His father also thought he was a degenerate for sleeping with his sister.
this is the same universe where tyrion killed davos son and davos was like "remember that time you killed my son? HAHA GOOD TIMES TYRION"
a complete fucking joke. telenovelas have better writing than this
There's also that they seem to mature a bit quicker than humans in our world (as made evident by the Stark children growing up very quickly), that incestuous relationships seem to have a much lower chance of producing disformed and mentally retarded children, or that some individuals have mutation-induced superpowers (resurrection, immunity to heat, teleportation, telepathy...)
jamie definitely didnt want him dead, and still obeyed his wished
he probably still loved his father and wanted to make him proud
but who cares about that right?
friendly reminder Tyrion is going to die a horrible death because he broke westero's #1 taboo
Why is Jaime such an emasculated cuck now? Tywin was the one that taught Jaime how to read and did everything that he could to get him out of the Stark’s captivity.
Tyrion needs to be brought to justice.
Yeah. Then le walked away whilst the camera stayed on small man doing his epic quip monologues teeheee wooooo I love game of Thrones Xxxxx - Burlington Bar
Or just shitty writing
bravo d&D
It was a different time.
To be fair, his dad was a ruthless sociopathic asshole
omg its almost as if this show is a D- soap opera
I think after Jaime learned about joff's Poisoning by the Tyrell lady and cersei going mad he kinda forgave Tyrion but idk could also be shit writing
They somehow made all the characters in the show irredeemable, here's hoping the NK curbstomps them all.
>his father thought he was a degenerate for fucking his sister
reminder, tywin married his first cousin, he didnt give a shit about incest
Being a smug dwarf?
Well Tywin insulted him a little, he was a little out of order himself
>didn't you kill dad?
>didn't you fuvk your sister
I thought this was addressed in an earlier season?
Davos is written very stupidly, but in fairness it's not really fair on Tyrion if he blames the general of the other army for the death of his son who was in the army he was fighting against, and he doesn't really come across as the type of character to hold that opinion.
>westero's #1 taboo
I think that's Guest Right
What about gilly's child?
While he had excellent leadership skills and was overall a great character, Tywin was a cunt. Jaime knew that. He did everything he could to serve his family despite his disagreements. Can't imagine his death would have been a huge loss for Jaime or any of the Lannisters for that matter.
>cunt
Reddit
they spoke when they set up the meeting with cersei last season and jaime was pissed at him then, i think they are both past caring about that sort of thing the fate of humanity is at stake now. this episode tywin came up when tyrion said he wish he was there to see his sons die defending winterfell and jaime at first gave him a look like "wish he was here? you killed him!"
Lol, eye to eye. Height difference joke. You are funny man.
wow look at that harsh ass winter and those 3cm of snow
didn't he help tyrion escape immediately after he killed their father?
So many things happened in between the moment Tywin died and Jaime's reunion with Tyrion. Jaime actually lost all of his children, for example. A child more or less always knows he will see his parents death in his lifetime, but is never prepared to lose his own children, Jaime has many things to be sad about, and considering everything he went through, Tywin's death is not the most important of these things, especially when you consider the fact that Jaime always understood how Tyrion felt and knew that Tywin could be a difficult father figure to support, and more than that, their reunion happened at a critical moment where they are all supposed to die because of the white walkers. Talking about Tywin in that situation would have been nothing but ridiculous; they think it's their last moments.
Tywin didn't know or was in denial about Jaime fucking Cersei. He's a giant fucking hypocrite anyways. He liked whores as much as Tyrion or Tytos, was hated by everyone who wasn't under his yoke, and had a temper as flighty as Cersei's. Literally the only Lannister worth shit in the show was Kevan.
This. It's really not hard to imagine Jaime being ambivalent or even apathetic toward his father's death.
>how could he ever forgive tyrion! it's a plothole!
He is not required to love his father, it's not a plot hole. The answer is implicit, he loves Tyrion more than Tywin.
Also they have met like 2 or 3 times after the death of Tywin. Presumably they have talked about it already, or at least mentioned it.
That has nothing to do with forgiveness.
You can still want to help your brother not be killed while holding a grudge over his fuck up.
Will there still be elephants? They hype em up and quite disrespectfully towards the fans casually say there are none, or is euron hiding Them to take kings landing
nah nah nah he didnt insult nobody
Yes, he could still hold a grudge. But it's obvious he doesn't. Not everyone loves their father.
>no one covers their head
>no one skies
it’s like they know jack shit about winter
>it took them 10,000 years to go from the bronze age to medieval technology
>Some of the older books are falling to pieces. The pages crumble when I try and turn them. And the really old books ... either they have crumbled all away or they are buried somewhere that I haven’t looked yet or ... well, it could be that there are no such books and never were. The oldest histories we have were written after the Andals came to Westeros. The First Men only left us runes on rocks, so everything we think we know about the Age of Heroes and the Dawn Age and the Long Night comes from accounts set down by septons thousands of years later. There are archmaesters at the Citadel who question all of it. Those old histories are full of kings who reigned for hundreds of years, and knights riding around a thousand years before there were knights.
like?
Because theyre the only 2 fucking characters that seem to realise none of that petty shit matters when theres an army of the dead that wants to rips your dick of and bring it back
Have you just never seen the show before? Even if you only watched the last episode there were like ten monologues that explain what's at stake lmao
Tywin was a real king.
Weird that you are thinking about dicks.
Do you ever not think about dicks?
No, never, why would I? I'm a straight man, are you?
haha yeah wouldn't it be weird if you just thought about dicks all day constantly haha
what are you scared of dicks or something gayboi
Why shouldn't he? It was self defense.
pathetic degenerate discord tranny /r9k/ poster detected
abandoning thread for fear to contamination of his faggotry and degeneration in 1,2,3... bye!
it's not like either of them quite liked their father. Good riddance, after all.
>muh family
WHOOOO CAAAARES
you sound like a faggot
>everyone who mentions gays is a discord tranny
this democracy manifest people
>It's another manlet outs himself episode
It's getting too repetitive
lmao you faggots have proven yourselves in the Rogan/Adam threads, we know for a fact you resetera creeps are here
Where did he touch you?
Samwell apparently care for his asshole father.
I wont deny being a creep but calling me a tranny is too far user
>caring about ANY family connections
C U C K
Why isn't anyone except Yara and Theon bothered by Euron being a kinslayer?
Tyrion is a dumbass, and a bad advisor. He's contributed nothing but bad plans since S2, but everyone acts like he's a super genius. The show is trash
they are iron born the strong eat the weak
Anyone else notice a massive drop in quality this season? Last episode felt like they made it so you don't care that any of the characters die. They all seem like giant insufferable faggots with similar personalities. How they all looked like smug reddit normie tards when Tormund was speaking. There really is no one living on this show that wouldn't be better off dead lol
CALL 911
wow, no way faggot... you're the first one to notice this, you must be so fucking special, i bet you're iq is of 2200+, fucking retard
I think Jaime just didn't want to bring it up, they have bigger problems now and he wanted his last day with his bro in peace, that's why when Tyrion said he wished their father was there, for a second Jaime looked at him like "oh no, you didn't just fucking said that"
>this season
You're like 4 seasons too late to complain about the quality drop. 7 seasons too late if you have patrician taste.
