The comic was absolute dogshit even for Ennis, but by the looks of the trailer the writers for the show seem to have toned done a lot Ennis's faggotry, so I might give it a go.
At minimum the fact that Hughie isn't a Simon Pegg look alike already makes it 1000% more tolerable than the comic.

The comic was good - up to a point. Goes on longer than necessary and it was repeating itself while putting some of the more interesting plot threads on hold. Stopped giving a fuck and quit reading.
This doesn't seem good at all, which is too bad. The Boys is the antidote to capeshit.

Fuck with Urban, but that trailer seems a bit obnoxious. The boys didn't have the best story but it was a fun read. Feel like they will simplify a lot of things just to double down on the whole us vs them thing.

I will watch the first episode and decide if it's worth it. I really liked the comic, but The Preacher adaptation wasn't good at all from the few episodes I've watched and I'm not expecting this one to be either.
Seems like they will keep at least a bit of the gore and rape tho
