Civil War is one of my pleb filters. It's an astonishingly bad movie that NPCs think is amazing. Not as bad as The Last Jedi but still awful.

It has some neat fight scenes and the tone is more serious but like all other marvel movies it's just window dressing

The writing is downright amateurish. The entire scenario of trying to make Captain America and Iron Man fight is convoluted and requires both of them to act in ways that are stupid and logically inconsistent with the previous movies. They had to introduce a character out of no-where to create Tony's crisis of conscience and it was so hamfisted and mellodramatic it could have been fanfiction. Not to mention that the villain's big scheme could have been done by sending a few fake letters in the mail instead of the convoluted nonsense he came up with.

The whole movie was trash. And the actual battle between the heroes was very ugly and poorly filmed. No-one died either which kept the movie from having any weight or sense of importance.

Lmao you put shit like the first thor and guardians of the memes as best. Only the iron man, first ant-man, infinity war are decent films
