>board members demanding ever increasing profits = increase costs for subscribers
lol @ USA for ever increasing "living" costs. What did you think was going to happen with this stupid economic model?
*disrupts your market*
>paying for goyflix
nah
They don't actually make a profit
>neets that steal everything pretend to care about one dollar price 'hikes'
kek every time
>HOW CAN THEY KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH IT?!
It'll end up the same price as everything else $70/month.
That's what they charge for Cable TV and Internet Access now.
Suckers are obviously willing to pay it, so why should Netflix leave money on the table.
nah I stopped paying because the content (or lack thereof) has gone to shit
why do you think they've been running on a loss for so long? they're trying to hook people in and get them used to the convenience. this has already been achieved so now they're slowly increasing the price every year.
Pozzing IP beyond all recognition is an expensive process, can't really blame them for jacking up the prices.
They are bleeding money
i wouldnt sub netflix if they paid me, it's life ruiningly bad for almost a decade now. how is this even an issue? unsub. wow problem solved.
>still only 4$/month for the premium plan if you share it (and everybody I know shares it)
the price is still low if you compare it to satellite/cable tv
other people will not respect my password hygiene
just cancel your sub
no they aren't, they keep taking on more debt to invest in content long term, but they're not losing money month to month. if they suddenly lost a massive amount of subscribers and their cashflow/stockprice tanked overnight they'd be in trouble, but that's not likely to happen anytime soon.
Could be $79/m and it would still be worth it
I would gladly pay more if they stuck to their original idea of making old tv shows and films available for comfy watching
If they keep funding retard flicks I'm gonna keep unsubbed
>how
You keep paying for it.
>hundreds of millions of paying subs
>increase $1
>several hundred million more in revenue every 30 days
>omg so bad
Time to cash out hard before Apple curb stomps everyone.
> Apple, Disney & Amazon are coming into the market
> investor retention panic ensues
They are done lmao
That's the thing. They put on the hbo business model but have no sense of quality control so anything that makes money eventually loses money.
God I can't wait to pay more in goytaxes to watch anti white propaganda.
>paying for netflix
1-800 come on now
don't forget AT&T is entering the streaming game soon too
>waaaaahhhhhhhhhh $20 is too much for me to enjoy literally millions of hours of free content whenever i want waaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh waaaaahhhhhhhhhhh
>$20
>free content
they need more money to produce more crap, they're just desperate, Disney's coming, and there's nothing they can do about it
Just pirate everything and set up Plex.
wrong
>waaaaaaaahhhhh i can't deal with the truth waaaaahhhhhhhhhh i'm a whiny baby waaaaaaaahhhhhhh mommy i pooped myself again waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
that diversity propaganda isn't going to fund itself goy
This.
I subscribed thinking I'll find anything and everything but in reality 3 out of 4 movies I searched for wasn't even on there. I didn't even use the full month I've got for free I was so disappointed.
T-mobile pays for my netflix so idgaf
It seems corporations today don't care about the customer, they also don't seem to care if they go out of business, I'm not making a sarcastic joke, it really seems that way, Netflix is losing shows to it's competition and piracy and believes raising prices is the way to combat this.
Get a multi screen account and split the cost with a friend or family member
Imagine being such a consumer drone that you actually pay for these worthless streaming "services"
imagine paying for anything in your life when you can just steal it instead haha!

>White guy depicted as short, scrawny, insecure, awkward
>Black man depicted as tall, muscular, confident, alpha
They are not even trying to hide it anymore.
All these big Silicon Valley companies' (Uber, Netflix, Facebook, Twitter, Google, Audible, most vidya shit, etc. etc.) business strategy is built on:
1. Operate at a loss for howmany years it would take to...
2. Establish an effective monopoly
3. Jack up prices and cash in on monopolistic rents
They know the USA government won't do shit because trustbusting is LITERALLY SOCIALISM and nobody will stop them.
(Giving politicians of both sides a bunch of money to keep them "business friendly" doesn't hurt, either)
Source?
Dilate tranny
disney will BTFO netflix fatally
i really cant say who i despise more, disney or netflix
even amazon seems like a saint next to them
>$9.99 is worth the same now than it was 10 years ago
Amazon provides an actually useful service. They're allowed a bit more leeway than Jewsney and Kikeflix
>she's pale
>she's just so fucking disgustingly pale
>blacked
Apple is going to bring new meaning to pozzed content. Anyone that goes near it is a brain dead, consumerist fool.
>being willing to pay that much just to watch "Netflix originals"
Yikes
>getting mad netflix makes some shows you don't like
>the same as every other network ever
I really don't get it, most tv is trash whatever the platform, why does netflix specifically trigger you kids so much?
So they can lower it when Disney+ comes out and seem like the cheaper alternative.
not sure because their own content is an extremely mixed bag and the gaps between seasons becoming more of an issue too.
>he actually pays for (((tv))) like a cuck
You do have choices. Stop acting like you don't.
Jeez. It amazes me how much the "consumer slave" dominates things.
Learn how economics works.
>end your subscription
>others fllow
>they see falling subscriptions
>they're forced to lwoer prices to bring people back.
You DO have power.
because it was the alternative.
I don't know how people still pay netflix to be honest
>make shit
>people cancel
>it's ok because you are pandering to a userbase that study's show will pay $50
>slowly hike price up
imagine being this poor
Leave.
why are you even here?
worst is the piracy increases, gone up 1000% since the good old days, can barely afford this shit anymore
8 billion Dollar debt and everyone is pulling their content away from them. They're finished!
Maybe not gross, but that's because they keep stuffing funds back into crazy investments for the latest diversity extravaganza.
Is this even a good go to for torrents anymore? Seems like half the time I try and find something on there its either non existent or has 2 seeders
Renting is an NPC activity. Blockbuster and netflix, same shit, both used by white trash blinded by "wow only a few units of local currency" and not realizing you pay that "small" sum often, for something you never own or get to keep. It is the ultimate and final cuck.
I used to pay for prime for the sweet 20% discount they had for games, but then they cut that. Then I decided I like the 2 day free shipping but Amazon lowered the minimum buy cost for free shipping down to $25 from $35 for non Prime members. Now I mostly pay for Prime for their free prime video content, because it's consistently of a higher quality than Netflix. They have pretty much every major HBO show plus every Star Trek, and some cable shows like Justified, Psych, and Unsolved Mysteries. Amazons original shows are also pretty good and not preachy like Netflix. Price used to be 100 dollars a year until they raised it to 120. My student membership will end after my subscription renews this November, so I'll get 50% off.
