This ia absolutely retarded

Everyone is acting out of character. Marvel shills got away with pretending it was within the realm of plausibility at the start of the run. But now how the fuck can anyone defend this? Blood sacrifice rituals, the X Men. There is no editorial control whatsoever.

I agree with the first part. But it's popular and selling insanely well across most of the titles. It's not that crazy considering but yeah it's like a sadistic sex cult trying to be world power and throwing their weight around. All it does is justify a lot of distrust and hate towards mutants and maybe that's what Hickman wants.

Blood Sacrifice Rituals mean nothing when you can respawn. Mutants are more like aliens than humans at this point and its clearly on purpose

ahem.

Fuck muties.

It's good and interesting, a welcome return to form and excitement in X-Books. Also, what do you imagine "editorial control" to be exactly?

I like it because I like the direction. Deal with it like you deal with all the X-men status quo shifts

>Blood sacrifice rituals
What sacrifice? Nothing is sacrificed when it’s an instant rev
> There is no editorial control whatsoever.
You think editorial doesn’t want this to happen?

Editorial doesn't like them so they are making them the Inhumana 2.0 so people don't like them either.

Seeing as they have a clone machines, have they made a story yet where somebody somebody dies, gets clone but then the original shows up alive and now there are two of them?

>people don’t like them either
Oh well they are sure doing a poor ass job at that

>t. Doesn't pay money for comics

What absolute shit

>Blood Sacrifice Rituals mean nothing when you can respawn.
Apart from encouraging a casual disdain for life because as you correctly pointed out you can respawn, there's no way any of this would be considered let alone allowed to happen under the X-Men.

This just in: X-fags hate X-Men
Weird man, this is the best X-Men have been since the start of AvX. Like, I find it surprising that I’ve been enjoying all X-books across the entire line, even Fallen Angels, while it’s definitely the weakest title they made, it wasn’t anything that I’ve gotten sick of and just began to ignore, and now it’s over and others are taking its place.
Personally I’m glad that I’m finally able to enjoy the x-men as a whole rather than enjoying just a handful of characters from them

It’s pretty obvious the Crucible was -:[A]:-‘s idea

>It’s pretty obvious the Crucible was -:[A]:-‘s idea
And it's pretty obvious the X-Cucks responded: 'Okay we'll do that then.'
There is no way that any of this is the X-Men as they were presented from the 70's onward.

Yeah, they also wouldn’t have allowed Magneto to not only join, but also lead them after, ya know, trying to Murder them and genocide the whole planet of humanity. But guess what?

This man gets it. With all the constant cancelled titled I had to collect over the years. I'm glad this is doing so well.

because they are out of character. Because Moira has warped charles and he in turn has warped them

so is this only a temporary phase in the x-books? If moira's killed again things will change once more? I fact how does her power work? Is it a conciousness that travels between timelines and versions of earth?

I like how OP is upset by this, without realizing that it’s being presented as something wrong and twisted. That whole issue made Karkoa seem far more nefarious and sinister then we were led to believe. Hickman’s obviously setting up for a major meltdown in the Mutie community, and I can’t fucking wait to see how it all plays out

The impression I got was that her life is on a constant loop. Once it ends she goes back to the start. A New Game + if you will. She can change the time line all she wants but it won’t for her once she dies because she go back to the start again. Really she was just a plot device in HoX to show Chuck that his dumb ass Dream is never going to happen the way he wants it to

thing is an earlier issue shows her involved in various events such as age of apocalypse and I think house of m in this reincarnation loop. She will eventually die and things will reset until she runs out of lives.

I think that’s because, during those life times, she did something to increase her own life span. Hell at the end of HoX, she and Logan are the only two mutants left, and after she learned the ultimate fate of not only mutants, but humanity, she had Logan kill him so she could start over and try again.

its clearly Cassandra Nova psionically steering the entire mutant population.

Its an interesting meta-commentary of how the younger woke crowd is perfectly fine with rampant racism, separatism, and racial nationalism as long as the race in question is non mundane-white. The same sort of people who cheer the Wakandan isolationism while all white countries must have open borders.

>I like how OP is upset by this, without realizing that it’s being presented as something wrong and twisted.
Because. It's. Out. Of. Character. For. How. The. X-Men. Normally. Are.
Look I'm all for 'subverting expectations' or whatever other plot twits you want to term them, however they have to make sense within the continuity. None of this does, unless the ultimate resolution is 'it was all a (dream)moria alternative earth which would be a complete cop out

weren't the mutants all living on jupiter or something or did the phalanx get them as well?
powers of x was very depressing honestly

Know what else never made any sense? Magneto being let on the team. Considering that, this seems pretty in character.
Pretty sure the Phalanx hit them first and then moved onto Earth

>Magneto being let on the team.
Magneto has flipped flopped throughout his history so this one at least I can give a pass to.

i find the phalanx interesting but a symptom of not knowing what to do with a defined future setting. They go round just doing the reaper thing but at some point they'll come up against forces more powerful than them on a cosmic scale and get wrecked.

>actually linking a shitty website
Fuck off shill

>has flipped flopped throughout his history
Which makes it even worse. At least for guys like -•[A]•-, they are constant in some way. Magneto is a fucking schizo

>There is no way that any of this is the X-Men as they were presented from the 70's onward.
X-men is famous for redeeming villains when they don’t deserve any of it

Regardless, he should never have been let on the team because that completely took away and and all convictions the X-Men claimed to have. Mags wants to pretend to be a hero? Great, good on him, but keep his fucking genocidal ass away from the X-Men who were actually trying to mend relations between humans and Mutants. Magneto was a PR House Fire that the X-Men and Chuck willingly jumped into.
DoX is just them fully embracing the concept of that house fire and ignoring what the rest of the world thinks about them.

I dunno man, I like the idea of society genuinely becoming different as a result of all these mad superpowers and what they can accomplish. This shit is what we'd see in real life if mutants were real - norms would shift drastically, attitudes toward many concepts would change as a result of those concepts becoming trivial, and power would disperse simply on the basis of mutation being random and therefore most mutants being poor people.

>Know what else never made any sense? Magneto being let on the team.
The X-Men have a long tradition of teaching their enemies to be better, then accepting them when they become better. It's their thing.

What am I looking at exactly lol. Are they making mutants now? Are they Inhumans, the fck.

>maybe that's what Hickman wants.

I think it is.

House/Power asserted that they are going to lose no matter what. Presumably this over-arc is about defeating that.

I always assumed they'd have to find a way to make friends with the Sentinels. I kind of always thought that was the endgame: Sentinels becoming so advanced they can make moral judgments, and deciding they don't want to kill.

There is a precedent.

Attached: Wolverine v2 074 15 (1993) (noads) (DarthMedio-DCP).jpg (1280x1990, 1004K)

>teaching their enemies to be better, then accepting them when they become better.
You forgot the part where their enemies betray them and become evil gain, completely undermining the X-Men's efforts and making them look like fucking morons.

Basically Apocalypse decides to slaughter one of the Guthrie clan in ritual combat while Professor X and the X-Men cheer and support him, then the mutant is reincarnated in a creepy golden balls ritual because reasons and butthurt at Scarlet Witch. Lol shit's stupid.

>Are they making mutants now?

Resurrecting them.

Five mutants working together - including Goldballs, who produces eggs, and Elixir, who quickens them - create viable clones of mutants who died. The new Cerebro has and maintains copies of the mind of every mutant on Earth.

By uploading the copied minds into the cloned bodies, mutants can theoretically be indefinitely resurrected.

It is incredibly creepy and raises some very pressing existential questions.

I rather imagine they're going to accidentally resurrect someone who hasn't died yet at some point.

>Clone body
>With copies of implants

Every single mutant who has died this way and been resurrected already is gone and never coming back. Only a copy exists.

Unless of course some of those "Dead" mutants never really died and they just show up on Krakoa one day like "What the fuck why didn't you guys come looking for m-Who the FUCK is this?"

You know all those mutants who last their X-Gene when Wanda did the whole “No More Mutants”? Well the X-Men’s resurrection protocols (Goldballs’ + Tempus’ + Protus’ powers combined) can bring that X-Gene back, but in order to do so they need to die first. The ones that do so are brought to the island and fight Apocalypse, and are eventually killed. Then brought back as a mutant. What you are seeing is is Aero being reborn as a full mutant.
The issue itself was actually pretty dark and unsettling. Things are not all that great on Mutie Island right now

>Marvel shills
Gotta be harsh to be a DCuck and work overtime to try to make a shitstorm of stuff you never read.

It's a blood sacrifice. The ability for the sacrificee to revive holds no precedence over the effectiveness of the sacrifice of a life for ritual, because the ritual requires a death as a toll. The person died, then revived. If they were literally unkillable, that's different.
I doubt that whoever made the sacrifice parameters stipulated on whether or not IF a person could revive from death, it nullifies the contribution to the ritual.

Nobody reads this shit anymore, not even in house

Lol I've never read D.C, defending this is the epitome of marvel shilling(shitting)

Also, it's a blood sacrifice. It requires the ritualistic sacrifice of ones own, or anothers, blood or life. The sacrifice in and of itself is what works for the ritual, and has nothing to do with the soul of the individual(s).

This entire issue was Kurt talking about how dumb and barbaric the blood sacrifice ritual is, though.

Yeah but it's like everybody went with it anyway, this isn't what the X-Men are about.

>Every single mutant who has died this way and been resurrected already is gone and never coming back. Only a copy exists.

Those would be those existential questions raising their head.

Because what is a person? What are you beyond your body and mind?

In Marvel, of course, there is the soul, but isn't that just a disembodied mind?

So basically Mutant Lazarus pit? Who's the guy with Cerebro? Cyke? He's back? Man I haven't read X-men in Years.

>Who's the guy with Cerebro? Cyke? He's back? Man I haven't read X-men in Years.

It's Charles Xavier. He was brought back by having his spirit incarnate in... I want to say Fantomex? Or some shit.

Is "on your feet, child" really in-character for Storm to say? I know she used to be a queen on several occasions but we still don't usually see her talk like that I believe.

Attached: caption.jpg (550x412, 35K)

>how it all plays out
Probably extremely poorly. First of all, we'll have a clear distinction between the good guys and the bad guys. The good guys will think it's wrong and twisted while the bad guys will go full tyrant (like that ever worked out for anyone not named Doom in Marvel) and arrest them for wrongthink/cross the moral horizon in some other way. Then the godd guys will break out and start a big dumb revolution, resulting in even more problems than before. Yadda yadda Apocalypse and Sinister are gonna be mad and something like "WE COULD'WE HAD IT ALL", maybe kill someone for extra shock. And in the end the bad guys will run away, the good guys will do more stupid shit and I guarantee you the mutants are going to be hated yet again.

Screencap this

Just wait for Hickman's exciting twist that makes the story even more shit.

It's really not selling that well though.

>Is "on your feet, child" really in-character for Storm to say?
Absolutely-frinkin'-nobody is in character in any of this user.

So is the twist that Krakoa plant pheromones are making the xmen retarded and gay?

Ok Batman

Imagine thinking no editorial shenanigans is a bad thing with Marvel editors.

And then at the end of the issue he sees the light and says he was inspired to create a new religion after seeing the glory of the blood sacrifice ritual.

That could certainly be a thing. Krakoa was heavily involved with the forming of the All-New X-Men back in the day and they are giving him a whole subplot with his twin brother Okkara, fusing back into Akkoro.

You couldn't make this stuff up. Although Hickman did, I guess.

>Everyone is acting out of character
Charles made mention of psychic suggestion being very effective almost right out the gate, and almost nobody caught it in spite of how often acting out of character comes up. They showed the wool to us as they pulled it over our eyes.

So your contention is this is all an alternative earth or something else?

wait a minute, why is apocalipse with the x-men?

So Xavier turned Scott and Logan gay like Jean turned Bobby gay?

I don't think you have any reading comprehension at all. Who said anything about alternate earth?

That's about right, yeah.

She’s participating in the equivalent of a religious ceremony/baptism, so yes

>Charles made mention of psychic suggestion being very effective almost right out the gate
This isn't Xavier. So what exactly are you saying?

>This isn't Xavier
According to whom?

Who says this isn't Xavier? If not, who then - Cassandra? AGAIN?

>can’t fucking wait to see how it all plays out
Haven't read much Hickman, user?

yes, she has a thing for calling younger people "child" she's been doing it since the 80's.

Sublime

Honestly my favorite thing that's happened on Krakoa so far was when the FF just effortlessly waltz in to the inner chamber of the silent whatever and an invisible Thing just bodies Magneto. Always fun to watch the high and mighty get humbled by the ever loving blue eyes Thing

Attached: 1566290777329.jpg (319x642, 174K)

>But it's popular and selling insanely well
King of the ant hill, user. King of the ant hill.

Post it?

I'm phone posting and your gonna give me all this work? Yea ok give me a bit

This

Magneto is a fucking idiot to dismiss the threat posed if he got into a confrontation with the F4.

What if Mr Fantastic confronted him with a Wooden Gun?

And for people who are gonna ask, the FF are all wearing helmets that block psychic nonsense because Reed

He's absolutely dumb as bricks if he doesnt realize the FF are probably the most capable and competent group around

I mean thats a rather logical, straightforward and plausible precaution for them to take. Its not as if such things don't already exist in the Setting.

If anything anti-telepathy stuff should be MORE common, especially for people like heads of state.

He has been acting in the most cliche of villain ways this whole time, right down to massively underestimating superheroes due to his tremendous ego.

Honestly psychics feel like they should be feared and hated by the everyman way more so than normal muties.
And Reed's science and inventiveness may as well be magic, like Nightcrawler said he can do pretty much anything at any time

WHY WHY CAN'T YOU X-FAGS JUST BUY INHUMANS INSTEAD???

WE CAN MAKE MORE MONEY FROM THEM REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!

Attached: mickey rage.png (400x400, 17K)

Editorial is worried fans won't know he was a "traditionally evil guy?

Well Mickey, your first mistake was making them actual mutant murderers.

Attached: 1540001944332.jpg (970x545, 250K)

Its just typical Hackman stuff. Get use to it.

Which is pretty pointless and a waste of their resources since Elixir could had reactivated her powers. Could had healed Cyclops brain injury that prevented him from controlling his powers. Could had regenerated Karma's missing leg. And yet they dont for whatever reasons.

>this isn't what the X-Men are about.
That's the point tho
Hickman already did this in New Avengers

Yes, she eithers calls them "child" or "little brother/sister"

>Because. It's. Out. Of. Character. For. How. The. X-Men. Normally. Are.
Stop with the clapping between the words, retard. Even a child can understand that either Charles mindwiped all of them, or the Krakoan pheromones did. Thinking that this whole thing is a mistake on the writers/editorials is a clear sign of autism.

Thanks!

That wouldn't be indoctrinating them into the violent power cult.

The X-Men were always a cult militia, now they are going all the way.

It has to be the pheromones. Charles outlines mass-mind control in Illuminati and explains why it doesn't work.

It would also explain the hornyness level in the air.

People are getting too upset about this, like it can never be retconed. I wouldn't even be surprised that all of the mutants are asleep deep in Krakoa's bowels, like Sabertooth, and that everyone else we've been seeing up to this point are literal pod people and that's why they can go through the rebirth process, meaning that their souls never left them, and that Charles uses Cerebra to link their minds. That way no one actually fucked anyone and people can calm their tits. Marvel was acting as if Morrison's run never happened ass soon as his ass past the door.

>selling insanely well
it's selling under 100k/issue, it's double shipping, it dropped 13k sales between #4 and #5 which is about average for the run so far, the next best-selling X-title that month is down around the 50k mark, way outside the top 10 and hemorrhaging sales the same way

it's death, it's death to the brand, you can't even pin that kind of drop on the market normal for relaunches, it's just not popular

even a couple of years ago it was possible for titles to stick comfortably above the 100k mark or hover around it for the entire run, look at Spider-Man - after Brand New Day the sales were way up on where they had been, there was better editorial control over the Spider-books, everyone knew what was happening whether they liked it or not, and judging by the way sales picked up most people liked it, hard to sustain indefinitely but definitely an improvement on ASM even today

this is death for the X-titles, they're filled with plotless garbage from a guy who defends his writing choices to the fans with personal attacks that really, you know, if the writing he was doing for his day job was that clever, it wouldn't be as clever as he thinks but it'd at least be a step up from the shit he's turning in for scripts

there's too many X-books because nobody at Marvel dares say you know what fuck it let's just cull the line instead of having another go at getting Gambit or Marrow or whoever to pick up as a solo, instead of having three main X-titles and Wolverine and whatever let's just have one book, triple ship like we did with Spider-Man, pocket the savings from not putting out so many and actually have some plots from a rotating crew

honestly this whole run reeks of someone in editorial doing their absolute damnedest to kill the brand, if it'd been this bad a few years ago Rich Johnston would have woven it into his insane conspiracy theory about Marvel not wanting FOX to have any usable new stories for their movies

>meaning that their souls never left them, and that Charles uses Cerebra to link their minds. That way no one actually fucked anyone

Except the last 35 years of canon prove explicitly that you can be a pod person and still have the original held responsible. That's literally the whole bullshit with Jean, only now you're proposing they extend that bullshit to the entire franchise. Up yours, pal.

imagine actually believing that getting a big writer to take a stagnant brand in a new, interesting direction is killing the brand.
killing the brand was making the lead x-writer Marc fucking Guggenheim for two years you goddamn idiot

>I like how OP is upset by this, without realizing that it’s being presented as something wrong and twisted.
There are the people who are upset by it because the X-Men have become people who do this. The people who got upset with what they were becoming years ago, and the people who just had enough now.
Then there the people who are upset because of how this is obviously all wrong, it's all sick, twisted, degenerate and evil, but the writers are all maintaining the appearance of being fully on board with it all, and a lot of the fandom is embracing it all enthusiastically, which makes it more likely to stick.

>The X-Men have a long tradition of teaching their enemies to be better, then accepting them when they become better. It's their thing.
Magneto didn't become better.
Mystique didn't become better.
Sabretooth only became better because a wizard made him better.
Emma didn't really become better, she just changed sides, not methods and tactics.
The X-Men's one big success story was Rogue. Taking in Magneto and Mystique set human/mutant relations back decades, for no gain at all, but Magneto is Xavier's friend, and Mystique is Nightcrawler's mother, plus Rogue's stepmother, so they get to stay.

>I rather imagine they're going to accidentally resurrect someone who hasn't died yet at some point.
The obvious one is how they've resurrected Vulcan on the assumption that he's dead.

Jordan White is too busy putting his dick in Leah Williams

The ritual combat to the death with Apocalypse is because millions of mutants lost their powers in Decimation, the Crucible ritual is to allow them to jump the line and be resurrected with their powers restored, right now, but they have to earn it, have to prove to themselves and everyone else how much they want it, by fighting for it, with Apocalypse repeatedly offering the opportunity to give up and stay a powerless human.
If the resurrections are just clones then they're just committing suicide by Apocalypse, and getting replaced by pod people.

not with that Jerry curl

Anyone read ghost rider the other week with punisher talking to wolverine about his sex orgies on the island. It’s clearly an open joke at marvel and they know they’re bring weird.

Maybe it's Sublime

X-Men is so worn as a franchise Hickman has decided to take its most common (and accurate) criticisms about people coming back from the dead and villains switching sides and make that the center of the entire series.

That's fucking stupid, anyone who was a reputable member X-Men should have 'proven' themselves and don't need to go through violent primitive cult rituals.

This is just part of the brainwashing, old school not necesserily as part of the telepathy. I mean its obvious when its Apocalypse of all people carrying it out.

It would be amazing if a human with superpowers gained from training just whooped Apoc's ass in a 1 on 1 fight when he was pushing his bullshit

Attached: Remember when the X-Men made Chun-Li an honorary member.jpg (1280x720, 161K)

Sublime is fucking stupid, even for Mutant related bullshit.

The books have been hinting at this shit being twisted for a while but it's all just resulted in a status quo where a lot of the writers see these circumstances as ideal for the X-men in earnest. Even current Banner, who hates everything and wants to end human civilization thinks these guys are doing something right.

Capeshit writers have a twisted view of the world, look at any major event.

>That's fucking stupid, anyone who was a reputable member X-Men should have 'proven' themselves and don't need to go through violent primitive cult rituals.
It's in part to address the Scarlet Witch fansoys who say, "It was a good thing to be depowered! No one wants to be Beak!" Well if you were Beak and hated it and it turns out you liked being human then just don't show up and fight Apocalypse to the death.
Otherwise knowing that you'll be rezz'd they need to kill you anyways. It reinforces loyalty if you know for a fact that the rez pods work instead of being a fancy story for the pleb mutants to swallow.

Is Pete Wisdom the only mutant on Earth that hasn't sucked on the Kool-Aid and actually stayed true to himself and his own goals?

Attached: 202155-142009-pete-wisdom.jpg (327x400, 22K)

Its pathetic to still be salty over that contrived piece of character assassination done on Scarlet Witch all this time later.

KEK that wooden gun

What would the X-Men think about those who by their own admission are better off without powers?

I mean its easy to feel pride of your mutation when you are not Beak, I'm sure the sewer freaks are happy to be humans again.

Attached: xmen-day-beak[1].png (600x720, 720K)

Same thing they've always thought about them, race traitors who need to stop whining and throw themselves at the enemies of mutantkind.

Dunno, they’ve avoided that topic pretty well with Glob Herman and Rockslide. I’m sure Santo would like to have his dick back some time.
Also, considering his powerset, I’m wondering how he interacts with the island on a metal level.

I believe Wiccan and Speed haven't gone to the island that shits on their mom.

Attached: MutantSatan.jpg (1080x1050, 720K)

It's all on purpose. This is the story of how the Mutants became what the humans always feared they would become.

>That's fucking stupid, anyone who was a reputable member X-Men should have 'proven' themselves and don't need to go through violent primitive cult rituals.
Are any actual X-Men members, reputable or not, still powerless from M-Day? It's mostly students, villains and civilians who never got re-powered.

>Its pathetic to still be salty over that contrived piece of character assassination done on Scarlet Witch all this time later.
A large number of X-fags not reading any Marvel books outside X-books means they have no context of her existing outside of the small number of X-Men issues she appears in. They don't care about the Avengers outside of them being people the X-Men sometimes fight, which means they must be bad. They don't care about Wanda's own history or lore, she's just Magneto's daughter and nothing else, and now they're angry that's not canon. Most of them didn't care about her until House of M, and the books keep instructing them to hate her, and ignoring the retconning done to make her usable again.
Starting to wonder if Hickman is doing this because the X-books were blocked from using Wanda and Pietro because of the MCU.

Were Wiccan and Speed ever confirmed as mutants?

The Brand New Day sales are from another time. Back then comic sales were higher in general. Now you have digital and pages like GetComics and shit. I barely buy physical comics anymore, only key issues or comics from creators I trust will give me the quality product I payed for, like Hickman or Morrison.

>Were Wiccan and Speed ever confirmed as mutants?
Yes, Emma tried to honeypot them into joining the X-Men with mind control.

Mentalists like her, Jean and Xavier are more than enough justification for everyone to hate & fear telepathic mutants at the very least.

What are you talking about 'Xavier mind wiping all of them'? When specifically? How does any of this relate to them all acting out of their basic personality composites? Not one, not any of the main stays would think it's okay for Apocalypse to conduct purity tests by what boils down to slaughtering mutants and then resurrecting them. Have some sense.

I can't be the only one who thinks this is all going to be a giant mindfuck-egotrip that FantomXavier is pushing on the world, surely?

Big 2 Comicbooks are a retarded potluck, it might all end up spiraling into something else rather than what the concept was originally intended to be.
And/or sort of just sputter out.

>just sputter out
Search your heart, you know this to be true.

Yeah. This isn't X-Men, it's weird pod people sex cult. Nobody is really written in character, but they're just clones and probably mind controlled so who really cares? On the plus side its a comic book that sells and isn't replacing everything with niggers, cunts and trannys.

It's Mouse-Men. I don't know why you thought they'd be treated any better when Gisnep got the film rights back.

Sometimes I envy the blithe optimism of Mouseketeers that enables them to roll from disaster to soi-fueled disaster with a smile on their face, telling themselves "next time will be the one, for sure!"

Attached: No fun with the Mouse.jpg (500x575, 45K)

>Yes, Emma tried to honeypot them into joining the X-Men with mind control.
Considering she was trying to mind control them out of a battle at the time, she may just be assuming they're mutants. If Emma thought they were mutants is all the evidence there is, it's hardly conclusive.

>Not one, not any of the main stays would think it's okay for Apocalypse to conduct purity tests by what boils down to slaughtering mutants and then resurrecting them. Have some sense.
The true test of how far gone they all are is going to be when Apocalypse is busy and can't make it to a Crucible ceremony and one of them has to take his role.

Can they not just postpone the execution until he's got an available slot in his schedule?

What if they can't postpone?
What if he's going to be gone for weeks, or months?
What if there's a growing line of ex-mutants who want their powers back right now?
What if some of them had useful powers and the X-Men need them back right now, but are obliged to follow their laws on how to do it?
What if the villains all stand back and force Scott or Logan or Xavier to step up and murder people so they can be cloned?
