You look upon She-Ra!
>mfw Yea Forums likes this shit more than the Jackson movies because le contrianism
low iq post
I will hinder it if I can!
Could He-Man resist the temptation to keep the One Ring?
There's a way
she looks anime
No, that's literally the entire point.
That’s because it was animated by Topcraft
The only reason I asked is because in his own show, He-Man was able to resist a similar corruptive power, the Starseed. And he was supposedly the ONLY one who could resist it.
On the flip side, the One Ring could corrupt the likes of Gandalf if he had chosen to take it.
So how does the One Ring compare to the Starseed, and how does He-Man's will and strength compare to Gandalf's?
Actually the question would be: how similiar are He-Man and Tom Bombadil?
The cartoon was way too short and has its share of problems.
However the one imperfection to the Jackson films was messing up the confrontation at the Gates between Gandalf and the Witch King.
The Crown with no head is such wonderful symbolism based in Christianity.
I just finished reading Return of the King for the first time. I'm feeling pretty fucking sad. Good stuff. Glad I finally went through it all.
Tolkien considered doing a follow-up on the descendants of Aragorn but decided it would be too depressing.
I just want to know how things went for Frodo. If he was ever healed. If he smoked dank pipe weed with Gandalf and Bilbo for all eternity.
Very based. Imao Peter Jackson kinda bungled the whole Siege of Gondor, especially this scene. The lighting was all off, too many greys, blues, and yellows when it should have been just stark black and red. And too many shots of goofy orcs making unscary Cockney noises, instead of making them fucking terrifying. You needed to feel oppressive dread, like the world was going to end. That's what the cartoon got right.
Reminder that Tokin hated Disney.
No he died.
It's the land where the Undying live not the land where nobody dies.
That was just autism.
Oh right I forgot. That's why Numenor fell in the first place. Misconceptions and all that.
>You see Sora, millennia ago the Dark Lord Sauron was defeated by the Men of Nûmenor and held captive. But they underestimated his force of will and over hundreds of years he used is powers of persuasion to become the Nûmenorians most trusted advisor.
>Once in power he trickes the Men of Nûmenor into launching an invasion of the Undying Lands, which caused their Star shaped island to be sunk into the sea by Eru Ilûvatar Himself.
>Only Elendil and his Household remained faithful and sailed East to found the Kingdoms of Armor and Gondor.
>So you see Sora, that's why only the Heir of Elendil can unite the Men of the West to defeat the Dark Lord once again.
>Unfortunately that line was broken long ago.
The Valar are big jerks!
>Orcs cannot into Navy because the Ocean literally hates them
Something like that.
"Wait, how does this have anything to do with the keyblade war?"
The Valar did nothing wrong.
Blame the stupid fucks who fell for the lies of Morgoth and Sauron
The other Valar should have just listened to Ulmo.
To be fair the songs are great

I don't know about the Starseed, but The One ring Wants to be found and returned to Sauron and influences the bearer to make this a reality
The Starseed is a left over remnant of the power that created the universe, and can grant anyone's wishes. But it twists even your noble desires to evil ones, iirc
You know that's not true
Yea Forums might be one of the worst boards, but the Lord of the Rings is almost universally revered there
The LOTR threads are often excellent and extremely positive compared to the rest of the board
The only complaint people have is bitching about adaptation, I AM NO MAN, and The Hobbit
Oh and taxposting, but that's alright
It’s too revered if you ask me. The Jackson films are great but Yea Forums treats them like untouchable masterpieces
