Genefreaks are Genefreaks don't cuck to their bullshit

Dear ESL OP, no they did not. Because they are a different species, just like the homo erectus is a different species from the homo sapiens.

Has anyone told mutants to there face they are not a separate species?

Someone posted in a storytime thread the panel where Scarlet Witch goes "No we're not!"

Yes. Johnny Flatscan did before his infamous concert where he did a zydeco arangement of his song "muggas never die, they just smell that way".
Joseph Nelson
It's more like pigs and boars, or dogs and wolves.

Toy Biz v. United States already been litigated in reality by Marvel themselves. Mutants aren't humans
Benjamin Gray
Background[edit]
The Harmonized Tariff Schedule in U.S. law distinguished between two types of action figures for determining tariffs: dolls, which are defined to include human figures, and toys, which include "nonhuman creatures". Because duties on dolls were higher than those on toys, Marvel Comics subsidiary Toy Biz argued before the U.S. Court of International Trade, that their action figures (including the X-Men and Fantastic Four) represented "nonhuman creatures" and were subject to the lower tariff rates for toys instead of the higher ones for dolls. On January 3, 2003, after examining more than 60 action figures, Judge Judith Barzilay ruled in their favor, granting Toy Biz reimbursement for import taxes on previous toys.

The definition of species is quite blurry because the conditions for a group of individuals to be considered a species of its own aren't universally applicable
Anyway, two organisms are considered to be of the same species if two of them (each of the appropriate sex) can copulate and have fertile offspring
Then two organisms are of different species if they can't have fertile offspring
I have no clue about your particular hypothetic situation so I can provide no answer

Can they interbreed with humans and have children who are fertile? If so, then no, no they are not. They are the same species, just a different breed.
Evan Sanchez
Siryn, the daughter of Banshee (A mutant) and Maeve Rourke (A human), was able to have kids, granted it was with another mutant and said baby turned out to be born of a duplicate of Jamie Madrox (Multiple Man) and the real Jamie reabsorbed the baby upon touching it.
Daken was the son of Wolverine and Himiko and has been known to be sexually active, whether or not it's lead to children is uncertain though
Luis Hall
The definition of race and species had different interpretations over the years. Yes animals being different enough to not be able to reproduce is a way to consider them different species. But there neanderthal and sapiens could spawn fertile hybrids yet they are considered different species.

One gene of separation wouldn't create the diverse mutations that the "homo superior" have
Andrew Edwards
This needs to be an actual plot point in the X-men comics. They're not legally recognized as humans because a toy company wanted lower tariffs.

I'd fuck some mutant women, desu.

>Animal A and Animal B can have fertile children
>Animal B and Animal C can have fertile children
>Animal A and Animal C can't have fertile children
>A and B are the same species, B and C are the same species, A and C are not the same species
Doesn't make sense. That's why it's hard to make specific definitions of things like "species".
Adam Moore
I mean, you could present this exact logic to any sub-category of humans, and they wouldn't care
It's all just variations on inside/outside grouping, baby, all these millennia and people haven't learned a damn thing
