I had an idea for a found footage film called Project Exorcist, tell me if it's shit.

A "popular" but mean/rude highschooler is throwing a big party while her parents are out of town. While trying to find booze around the house, she releases some sort of spirit/demon that was contained in a bottle and the demon takes over her body. The demon would be more exorcisty in that it can talk to people, and it uses this opportunity of the party to try and find the perfect host body. In the end, the teenagers of the school end up really liking the demon Stacey more than regular mean Stacey, and the film ends in a confrontation with the police where the demon switches bodies just in time for Stacey to be shot and killed.

My idea for the constant filming would be some Instagram celebrity will have a contest where whoever live-streams the party with the most viewers would be visited by him. That encourages the demon Stacey to try and appeal to everyone so that they come to her party and get the viewers up, with the demon hoping to take over the celebrities body for whatever nefarious purpose.

Writing a reason for people to constantly be filming is fucking tough.

Problems with Fear Footage. Only 3 segments and they aren't particularly creative or interesting. Wrap around is ok but cop is a complete retard and the spooky shit that happens in the house has no consistency. We're given hints of bad shit that happened there but none of it pays off. The last ten minutes are just aaaaaah spooky stuff. Total misfire all around.
