For wrong it was that "going savage" was done by a villain, rather than by free will. It would have been better if it were like a gang of wolves "Went savage" and attacked a innocent herbivore family by choice , leading everyone one to fear predators.
Also I felt if's message on racism was SO WHIE, and basic, and should have done more of intellectual look on racism like Do The Right Thing and Hate U Give
>surprise, disharmony between races is orchestrated by power hungry politicians It was a pretty based movie

The racism stuff in Zootopia doesn't work because their not clear about who's supposed to be who in the race to predators/prey thing.
Julian Ward
>Despite being only ten percent of the population predators are responsible for nearly 60 percent of violent crime and... >...and even with the mountains of evidence that this is related to genetics many still refuse to believe... >...a cyanide-based aerosol would be very effective in dealing with mass numbers of...
Isn't that the point? That way it can relate to any group anywhere that feels oppressed.
Liam Perez
The thing that really bothered me about this movie is that EVERY missing persons case is one of these "savage" animals. You're telling me EVERY case in this massive city is in this one fucking room? I like the movie, but whenever I've watched it I immediately get taken out of the movie for a second at that scene where she says "they're all right here!"
>Movie about racism >Literal first 2 minutes >This group of people were savages but they're cool now Same reason why I can't get into X-Men, especially since the shit they pull has only become more extreme overtime as a dumb way for writers to "outdo" each other.
For once I want one of these films about one group of people is objectively stronger/more threatening then another group an acknowledge the fact that while it's incredibly awkward and pose hard to answer ethical, the actual fear and regulations surrounding on said race is justified.
Hating/fearing one group of people for skin color is silly because scientific evidence has showcased that differences between each other beyond the aesthetic/visual is so minute that it can barely effect anything such as one group of people are more likely to get skin cancer but able to get more heat in cold environments and vice versa.
Meanwhile being worried about some people having knives for hands and mouths or in the case of X-Men, the power a dozen nuclear bombs, is fairly justified.
Evan Hernandez
>differences between each other beyond the aesthetic/visual is so minute that it can barely effect anything
I want to fuck every single one of these characters in the ass.
Joseph Brooks
The night howlers is a stand-in for the crack epidemic.
Luke Wright
But... pit bulls are not statistically more prone to violence than other dog breeds. Dalmatians are fucking savages tho.
Alexander Ross
Large physically powerful non-preds have it the best in the Zootopia setting, they don't have the stigma of being 'meat-eaters' causing them to be demonized at large but are still capable of physically dominating the majority of other people they encounter.
Evan Roberts
The bunny is a scumbag.
She's a racist corrupt cop that is in bed with the mafia.
Samuel Taylor
The film was fine and anyone who looks at it like a 1-1 of real world prejudice is inevitably going to be disappointed.
The entire point of the predators and prey “switching roles” is to show kids in the audience that prejudice can manifest in many ways. They’re training them to look out for the signs in their own lives regardless of race. If you clung to the analogy that Predators = White and Prey = Minority and never let it go, of course the movie isn’t going to work.
Ethan Green
>message on racism
First mistake, there.
Henry Thompson
Not a Holocaust denier, but yes, I absolutely believe that racial disparities in violent crime are the result of genetic differences, and the movie's otherwise positive messaging is ruined by implying that anyone who even theorizes this might be the case is bad. I'm opposed to racial discrimination and I don't think the truth about race justifies reviving Jim Crow morally or logically.
On the bright side, the movie said that racism goes both ways and anyone can be a douchebag to others for trivial reasons like race. It also, as this user says, points out how politicians use identity politics to divide groups that would threaten their power. I just wish it didn't push that anti-free thought, anti-science bullshit too.
Nathaniel Cooper
>Hating/fearing one group of people for skin color is silly because scientific evidence has showcased that differences between each other beyond the aesthetic/visual is so minute that it can barely effect anything You can acknowledge that differences exist without hating anyone. I don't resent all blacks because some of them commit crimes, but I resent whites being blamed for it because something something systemic racism.
A gun wouldn't be enough to stop me from getting to that deer boipussy.
Ian Thomas
It's not like Judy had a scientific reason to think predators are more violent. There's not a single case in the film of a predator's nature (fangs, claws, etc.) being emphasized. The polar bear thugs are intimidating because of their sheer size and are all rather stoic. The rams are dangerous for the same reason, plus the horns. I think one of the predators to get drugged being an otter was deliberate so we have a scene with a predator smaller than Judy (whose smallness is emphasized often).
neat artist but very clumsy writer her worldbuilding skills suck ass why would there be a dark market at all, that would just encourage murder
Leo White
Which one do you thing would have the tightest anus?
Nathan White
What I want to know is how does the police monitor the smaller cities if they have no police officers who are small enough to go to that district without squashing everything?
Daniel Jones
I don't understand how this planets ecosystem works, if the bugs are the same size as everyone else, then how does shit like pollination work.
Brandon Smith
Rabbits being what they are, I'm betting she's well-used and loose. The panda though looks like one of those tough guys who always wants to be on top, I'm betting his ass is virgin-tight.
Aaron Rodriguez
Everything about the Zootopia concept was complete shit. I greatly prefer stuff like Star Fox or Sly Cooper or Sonic. Different types of anthros exist in the world, but they never have those primal instincts and carnivore type conflict with herbivores. It's just too much of a convoluted problem which all leads to the same bottom line, multiple species cannot get along because in nature and real life they simply do NOT get along.
Jackson Martinez
And you get the added bonus of touching his rippling back muscles and feeling his tight stomach as you jam it in.
Nicholas Barnes
Racism will always exist because it's natural for humans to be racist. The only solution to getting rid of racism is genocide of every single other race. Glad whites are going to die out first and even better they're doing it to themselves while celebrating their own extinction. White people are smart? Don't make me laugh.
Luke Clark
Beastars is a key example of an idiot plot
>Predators eat prey >Don’t even have to eat them they just want to >Prey curbstomp the predators in war >Somehow we’re supposed to pity the preds
Reminds me of Shiki
Chase Richardson
Presumably it doesn't, because the writer didn't think of that.
At least in Zootopia the creators stated that not all creatures are people, like reptiles and fish are still reptiles and fish giving carnivores or omnivores something to eat.
Hudson Hughes
Good thing the movie was about overcoming bias/prejudice in general rather than racism, then, isn't it?
Jayden Bailey
Zootpia is not red pilled, the final speech by Judy encourages multi-speciesm (which is multiculturalism). So this garbage film is leftist agenda bullshit.
Kayden Walker
Japanese creators are inherently shit writers with terrible values, like most superhero comic writers.
Daniel Sanders
Humans are predators, you know?
Jackson Wilson
Apex Predator baby~
Carson Scott
I mean, that’s fair and true. But I would have preferred it to be played straight, rather than using mirrors of real life racism.
Joseph Powell
True, pitbulls are as violence prone as any chihuahua ...the difference is that an angry , territory bounds marking chihuahua would never dismember your limbs from their sockets.
Caleb Scott
Most likely Little Rodentia and Bunnyborough have their own police forces.
Oliver Perry
Bellwether was cute, and she was right. She understood the value of an ethnostate that had a common enemy to rally against. Judy and Nick are clearly on the multi-cultural side, so that means Bellwether had strong species values. And all the sheep in the movie are coded to be rednecks and 1950s white people. Minorities do not have redneck and trucker culture, Disney coded the sheep to represent white people.
Also, I do not want more female cops. Disney, do not make girls want to become a cop. If someone sucker punches me and steals my wallet, I don't trust a 5'0 woman to catch a 6'1 perp with 100 pounds on her.
The united states was built on centuries of racism that was built into the system. That is why its effects still linger and affect people without you realizing it.
Ryder Smith
How about a 7’ tall, 400 pound tigress? Because that’s one female cop in Zootopia. Sexual dimorphism isn’t as pronounced as in humans in a lot of species and even when it is, the size difference between species counts for a lot.
This movie is about racism by both sides, a victim can be guilty of spreading racism as well as the so called oppressors
Luis Jones
You do know the going savage thing was a metaphor for PCP, right?
Actually it wasn't a metaphor.
Tyler Scott
What is that, a shrew? They're omnivorous and bugs and shit don't count; only mammals are people in that setting. That loophole applies to otters since they eat fish and clams but still they're considered to be predators rather than prey, a dichotomy we know is official in the setting because the police application asks which the applicant is.
Zachary Reed
user, have you even watched the movie?
Thomas Stewart
Yeah, those missing persons cases were the ones with no leads at all, not all the missing people in the city.
Gabriel Cruz
You assume predator or prey relies on mammal eating rather than simply meat eating.
James Evans
Wasn't that the gist of the kids' play in the first scene? There doesn't seem to be any interest in the eating of non-mammals, which aren't people.
It's vidya so it's probably off-topic, but I like how Tooth and Tail completely subverts the trope of carnivores vs herbivores by making everybody eat meat, even pigeons and squirrels.
By volume the shrew's much more terrifying than any big cat or dog. Shrew's killing and eating 200-300% their body weight a day. Also they're insectivorous and carnivorous, you dip.
Zachary Sullivan
Exclusive herbivores or carnivores are rare in nature
Even rabbits, deer, and cattle will munch on some flesh if it’s slow & weak enough
Isaac Allen
Yes exactly. No herbivore-carnivore race relation bullshit here, just the question of who becomes the meat?
Fuck the racism, fuck the message. At least the porn shows everyone can get along...in more ways than one.
Parker Ross
It's not a fetish if it involves other animals I like the small one being humans.
Now because this thread is too furry I have to ask how many of you are familiar with the Macro Story called Integration? I know that title is going to resonate with at least ONE of you.
Oliver Cooper
I've read a little of it.
Carson Flores
I always thought it worked better as an analogy for sexism than for racism
James Murphy
hola
Connor James
Nick ruins the porn. I don't like to see him having sex with Judy.
Worse than that dude, I don't care about Nick in the movie itself. Mayby he had a point during the original version of Zootopia, but once he was reduced to being Judy's sidekick? I really did NOT care about him. Same to Eugene in Tangled, same to Maui in Moana. I don't care about the male sidekicks in these female led movies, never liked them since Kimpossible.
Christopher Phillips
I just paid attention to the furrie.
Kayden Mitchell
>post yfw the plot was a eweish conspiracy
Liam Turner
>it’s another “nigger: redeem yourself in the eyes of us whites but oh no now I a white has to redeem myself to a nigger- WATA TWIST” At least it was fun to watch...sorta...in...ok fuck you I only watched it so I’d understand the porn like your reason is any more valid
John Lee
The original is more gutpunches and clunky metaphors than substance. It works fine as a short that enters and exits before you can really start picking apart the world and just focus on the message rather than overstay its welcome and you really get to pick apart how it doesn't make much sense. Not that the final version is perfect.
Jack Ward
Are there any cartoons that get it right? Surely there must be at least one...
Gavin Barnes
they were all missing persons (mammals) until they were all found at the same place. besides, no need to inject unnecessary plot strings here. It aint hill street blues
Of course it's message about racism is terrible because it's clearly about sexism.
>predators = men >Judy = female police officer in a male-dominated department >Nick = potential rapist >"going savage" = being a rapist >true villain turns out to be female character who never got respect from men
They might as well have called it "NotAllMentopia".
William Allen
the biggest strongest cops were females as well being an elephant and tiger
Luke King
>Don't know who that is >Rat faggot >Based Bern man >Rotting corpse >Snake cunt >Copmala >Neet chink >Anti-gun nutjob
Spee D. Reader makes an appearance. Literally all of these points are addressed at some point in the story
Jordan Gray
The black market does the exact opposite, that's been explained multiple times.
Carter Reed
>>Prey curbstomp the predators in war That's not what happened at all, the herbivores had a population three times bigger than the carnivores and the war fucked them up so bad that by the end of it they had the same numbers. The war ended because a fucking whale showed up.
Charles Smith
>Reminds me of Shiki That show would have been an amazing comedy if they had just stuck to human torturing vampires without mercy or remorse and you were supposed to laugh at the crying dying vamps and say the humans are inherently right to torture vampires for fun
Daniel Campbell
>if the bugs are the same size as everyone else They're not.
Jeremiah Sanchez
So lesbian rapists.
Matthew White
Imagine how tight Judy would be to a human
Nicholas Parker
>Neet chink Exactly like most of Yea Forums then, based.
