I've not seen it in twenty-odd years but I vaguely recall it being kino.

It's like pottery, so it rhymes. That's why they sold it to white slavers.

Enemy Mine is alienkino

Loses its power in the third act. Wonder if it woudlve been better without the kid and just him taking vengeance and bringing his ashes to his homeworld. Essentially replacing the kid with the space shitskin.

Alien baby is essential to the plot because it's the symbolism of new generation who will grew without race hate

I like the movie. It is a bad movie by the third act though. But as an undiscovered gem it is great.

Criminally overlooked. Great story that could really have only been made in the 80s. Before that would have been too cheesy, after that too PC. It's about a race that got shit on, and kind of an allegory for racism, but done before the SJW menace that wants more divisiveness, not less. It had heart in it's message, not a divisive agenda.

the fucks a tall mud

>go in expecting a campy alien adventure movie
>instead get a tearjerker that leaves me an emotional wreck

The Drac actually have a Star Empire or some such nonsense in the book. They don't touch on that in the movie. A lot of people would assume that it was about "muh racism" and the parts where he goes to save his nephew- Zombies- from slavers. But it was really about brotherly love. A film that my wife liked for its basic premise but didn't really understand. "Are they gay?" Nope. Just bros.

>mee-kee-mouse iz a stupid head
This movie was always on tv.

>Will Zammis get 4,5?

I have this movie. They should’ve redesigned the alien because he looks like a standard Star Trek freak and it’s also a kind of repulsive design

> it’s also a kind of repulsive design
That's the point retard.

>kind of repulsive design

that's the whole point

>They don't touch on that in the movie.
There's a very brief bit of exposition in the very beginning about the intergalactic war between the dracs and the terrans.

Used to watch it on HBO all the time when I was a kid. I always wondered if Pepsi cans would look like that in the future.
I worked road construction during the summer right after high school and there was a nigger there everyone called "enemy mine" because he looked just like the drac.

>enemy mime
>he can talk
wtf

that nigger used to scare the shit out of me as a kid

Based, but bluepilled

Also cuckness and homosexuality

The monster that comes out of the ground fucking spooped me as a kid.,

I loved it as a kid. I re-watched it a few years ago and was highly disappointed. The alien was fucking gross and annoying. The fact that it was hermaphrodite and gave birth was disgusting. A silly movie.

> "Are they gay?"
What's wrong with women, why do they see everything through gay lenses just because there are no women in the film?
