stop shilling your disgusting lesbian propaganda you dyke sucking cuck

It was lesbian for 2 eps and Reggie didn't do anything serious there.

>some underaged weird redhead girl
>not the bravest, cunning, and most handsome detective to ever live
For shame, OP. For shame. I bet she couldn't even do THIS: youtu.be/c4Wgz2TbcfE

Attached: the_detective.png (460x555, 5K)

it was 2 eps too many

She still can be bi.

When I watched Locked Out originally, I didn't think that was even what was being indicated. I thought Reggie was just afraid to engage in a more mature, grown-up version of the game she was already playing with the action figures at school. Usually grown-up things are either gross or boring to Reggie, like puberty or buying dresses, so they're easy for her to reject, but here was something that she would actually have had fun with.

The reason she blushed when Connolly caught her playing with her dolls, I thought, was that for the first time in her life she was ashamed to be behaving childishly, on some level she really did want to join them instead of retreating to child's play, her no longer being able to go to Forever represented the uncertainty and confusion she felt because of her desire to do something mature for once, and the reason she was able to go to Forever again after formally rejecting Connolly's offer to design sets for them was that she'd reaffirmed her commitment not to grow up in any way.

She got the resolve to talk to Connolly after her teacher gave her the pep-talk about how her "sense of play is the most powerful thing" about her. He was only trying to cheer her up, but she took it as an endorsement of child's play over the more adult activity. Without meaning to he encouraged her to retreat from the one grown-up thing she actually would have liked, and that's literally what she did, all the way back to Forever. Like so many other things in the show it's a victory in Reggie's eyes while in reality she's becoming more withdrawn.

Rewatching the show I do see where the lesbian interpretation is coming from, and it probably is what was intended by the writers (I haven't heard any word-of-god stuff since I only got around to watching the show this past week), but I kind of like my original interpretation better.

No, I think we've had enough Reggie threads.

>I didn't think that was even what was being indicated.
Me too. Reggie is just lesbian because the ep's description says that.
Never

Shadi confirmed on his twitter account that Reggie is "queer". I wouldn't be surprised that it was added at the last minute by Shadi's request. Vickerman was taken out from the project at early stage so Shadi was the main creative force behind the Twelve Forever we actually got

Once a lesbian always a lesbian.
If a woman is fucking mostly blacks but also some whites, she’s still a coalburner

This is a general

So? Generals are literally the only worthwhile threads on Yea Forums

Tbh I just wanted to lewding her, but I'm open to any discussion about the show.

I think realistically Reggie’s interactions with Connelly were the show intending to confirm Reggie as a lesbian, that’s how I interpreted it and I think that’s what they were going for.
Within the logic of the show though, I think at best you could describe her as being bicurious. Reggie wouldn’t describe herself as a lesbian and her feelings towards Connelly confuse her more than anything.
I think the show handles it all very well because it doesn’t slap a label on what’s happening or draw particular attention to it. If Reggie is gay it’s not something that comes out of nowhere or is immediately celebrated, it’s something that will slowly creep up in her over a period before it dawns on her that she is a lesbian. Which I think is a more realistic way of handling these situations than other shows have done.

Yes, they did a great job and it was totally not forced.

Dead show
Dead thread

I guess u right.

Mods deleted it.

Why?

Idk.

Okay, but where's Shane?

Shane is no more

>completely perfect, perfect-stranger confidently approaches the MC to shower them with unconditional support, admiration and gay feelings
Connelly is clearly the 17th Angel, Tabris

I think the next season will focus more on Ester. Todd's the most well-adjusted one, so I suppose there would be less attention on him as a result.

Then who's Gwen?

It makes sense. Especially since we've basically seen none of her home life.

Gwendo

Shane, bring him back, BRING HIM BACK!

And Shane's Rei?

Both Shane and Hilda are apparently Rei

Dustin's the captain of a ship

Any willing to draw this scene with Reggie and Todd?

That's more appropriate with Gwen as Kaworu.

Yeah, like she just walked straight up to him without any prompt. It is pretty suspicious.

The only difference between her and Reggie maturity wise is the level of verbosity.

You know I’ve never even heard of a girl having a male name like Reggie until her

That's just a nickname. Her real name is Regina.

Oh. That makes sense.

Love, brother!

You should give her this, user.

This is a really solid interpretation, and I think why the show resonated so strongly for me.

I also didn't catch that it was supposed to be a crush. It really didn't feel like it was forcing Big Gay, it was more like super realistic middle school awkwardness.

I was always expecting that they would try to show Reggie accepting that growing up isn't so bad. But instead, we see an authentic lens on how a middle schooler deals with stress and coping with a rough childhood. The entire show, Reggie refused to deal with her problems in a healthy way, always using Endless as an escape from how we would typically see a show try to build character development. She caused her own conflict all the way up to the last episode, and I kind of hated her for it, but in the end it felt totally correct, like a reminder of all the times I should have becomes a better person from my experiences but refused to learn. Overall, the more I think about this show the more I have come to appreciate what happened.

>always using Endless as an escape from how we would typically see a show try to build character development
That’s what I like so much about the show, the slow realization that it isn’t about a wacky, fun imaginationland for the kids to express themselves in, it’s about how Reggie relies on escapism to avoid dealing with problems, to the point that she lets her relationships break down and stunts her development.
The show does a really excellent job of demonstrating why she keeps making the same unhealthy choices. If she does ever learn to accept growing up, it’s going to be a long process that involves breaking some deeply ingrained habits.

> Congratulations, congratulations,congratulations
In a nutshell.

Why did Twelve Forever never really gain much of an audience? Why does it get overlooked when compared to similar shows?

Bad stigma from a pedo, drunk, employee harassing creator.

Did the Vickerman stuff come out before the show released?

I believe so, and Netflix didn't promote the show enough.

As muchas I dislike Netflix funding shows and then never marketing them, I feel like things like The Dragon Prince and She Ra still have an active fanbase, so it’s maybe also that 12 Forever doesn’t have a pre-established IP or anyone really recognizable involved with it.

Who are they trying to marketed to?

>EVA suit Reggie
You guys better stop doing this, i can't handle it.

Is Endless evil, benevolent, or simply just too alien to really be considered either?

I'll go with evil and benevolent. She's probably an angel

Thanks!

Part of me wants it to be good, trying to teach Reggie to be a better person. But another part of me thinks it's just indifferent and only reacts when prodded.

Todd started third impact trying to get Gwen back but failed and went in a 14-year coma. After that, he wake's up to see he's younger sister now older, escort him to the SS Dracula. When inside, he sees a pissed off Reggie.

Oh, yeah I give it 5 out of 10. And their hair colors are not the same. If somebody wants to do a better one by all means.

Ok, now we need Rei in Hilda's wardrobe.

How big of a significance would Brown Roger be for Reggie if she were a pilot?

Attached: Momma.png (1820x936, 708K)

Alien.
I don’t think there’s any sapient intent behind Endless, I think it just IS. There was the episode with Esther trying to understand the Island and it never conformed to any sense of logic, which I saw as the show establishing that it wasn’t about some secret, deep lore mystery and that it was more character driven.
It would be disappointing if Endless ever turned out to be the sinister scheme of some big bad because the message that Endless is bad for Reggie because of a villain is less meaningful than saying Endless is bad for Reggie because it overindulges her self-centered tendencies.

I love this so much more then I need to.
