The animation was fluid and nice and all, but the story wasn't very good, the characters, were pretty flat, the songs were trying WAAAAAAAY too hard to be Rebecca Sugar's and all-round... It was mostly just boring. The swearing just came across as cringy as well. It's like someone went out of their way to make "Hot Topic: The Musical"
It's a solid 5/10, I don't see why it gets so much love or hatred, it's not good or bad enough for it.

It's the type of thing I would have been obsessed over as a teenager, so from that perspective I get why its loved or there's a raging hate boner for it. The jokes aren't well written, but they're 'adult jokes' for teenagers who find immature sex jokes and gay themes funny, woke, and empowerirng. Adults tell you not to swear? Well here's a show that says fuck every forty seconds, and memes on the bible by being set in hell. Wow I'm so rebellious. It's like the new Homestuck for this new generation, or it would have been if they got content out quickly. As it stands now this whole thing might blow over and they'll have lost their window. They should have had a plan in place to put more episodes out or taken this straight to a streaming service like here's the demand for so it fund it.
