This would make almost no sense if you didn't read the comic. Also, the SJW and 'woke' crap was out of control.
Lesbo WW, black Jimmy Olsen, etc.
Garbage.

Anyone have a link to the story time?
There were two storytimes, don't be lazy.
>WAAH
>I feel emasculated even though I'm a virgin
>Lesbo WW
In the original comic she becomes a bitter recluse talking about how all men are fucking scum and Superman broke her faith in the sex as a whole.
>black Jimmy Olsen
Why is this relevant?
Communist superman movie is woke? Shock.
They changed the ending. I think this one is less uplifting. They changed the Bottle Line, I think this one has less impact. They spent less time in Russia, and I think the story is weaker for it. Bizzaro, less impact but still OK. SvetLana, more impact this way. The previous "Supes returns and finds a few less people" seemed hurried. So they only thing they did right was kill a woman?
>In the original comic she becomes a bitter recluse talking about how all men are fucking scum and Superman broke her faith in the sex as a whole.
Because the man she loved and deeply admired broke her spirit after the lasso shattered, which was symbolic of her breaking out of the lies she wrapped herself in over the years as she accepted more and more morally dubious things he did. It was a harrowing moment because of all the love and attraction she’d clearly had for him at that point, and her physical change showed just how different everything was now that she’d finally accepted what the man she admired most truly was.
In this one she’s his friends because when you add woke stuff yours pandering to idiots who hate thinking so you’d better play it safe and not imply the lesbian thing is a rebound even if it makes her every move nonsensical and much stupider. It’s a worse product with less character and less thought but hey some dumbass won’t write on Twitter.
>Garbage.
so was the comic, what do you expect?
Classic woke defender. Sure, the thing you mentioned happens after a ton of stories and character development that enrich both her and Superman’s story in a way only they as equals could, but this thing happened so it justifies doing the dumbest shit! Star Trek was always woke so every change is fine, Dr Who was woke so everything is fine, all these things had minor elements that we’re using so you’re the one who changed, not anything else.
To be as garbage as the comic, not visibly worse? I mean goddamn they ended the movie wit Luthor never having had a kid and retiring after making the black dude president, you couldn’t fuck up his character harder if you tried
I think the worst offender is the change regarding how Superman gets talked down.
It's not nearly as amazing as him breaking down over reading one note.
You people are the biggest snowflakes to ever walk this great Earth. Holy shit.
Calm down fag it was a good movie.
Why do these posts come off defensive?
Why are you quoting yourself chief
Come on, Wonder Woman being friendzoned by Superman is not something smart or deep. Even Injustice had it.
That’s a pretty weak defense.
>Sure, her entire motivation for meeting him in the first place, overlooking his expansion of control, working with him as he slipped further and further into control by putting things in people’s brains, and then breaking her lasso to save him even while repeating that she hates all men doesn’t make any sense and only happened because the comic did it, but that doesn’t mean this change wasn’t dumb as fuck to pander to people too afraid of a thematically consistent character arc coming off as “problematic”! It’s just a weaker dumber story, but this other story had it too so it’s fine
I don't think there has been a single user who isn't a brain damaged shill that has said good things about this crap.
Not that the comic was a masterpiece to begin with, but geez even the dub and animations were cringe.
In the comic, Wonder Woman was a little off, but that's exactly Elseworlds for you. In the movie, WW did nothing right.
>black Jimmy Olsen
>Why is this relevant?
Lazy way to shoehorn Obama
Not a good look there, shill
Why are so many people defending unnecessary changes for the sake of seeming woke at the expense of the story? Pandering for the sake of pandering is a marketing move not a sign that the creators truly want what they tout if anything people who are "woke" should be upset at the movie not defending it.
That being said I was never huge into the original comic aside from the "twist" ending. But man this movie was worse than the comic.
>Also, the SJW and 'woke' crap was out of control.
>Lesbo WW, black Jimmy Olsen, etc.
None of those things are a problem.
What was a problem was how hard the movie sucked its own dick every time those things came up. The writers virtue-signaled with all the grace of a soccer fan with a vuvuzela. They've made a sport out of masturbating during pompous lectures.
The tone was so over the top, it was like the Single Female Lawyer episode of Futurama, but played with full sincerity.
>Also, the SJW and 'woke' crap was out of control
I was surprised they at least portrayed authoritarian censorship of wrongthink as a bad thing, given how much SJWs have been pushing for that lately.
>Superman: The press is the enemy of the people. Why would I let you twist my words and use them against me?
>Lois: So, the great Soviet Superman is afraid of the free expression of ideas.
Was Lois immediately twisting his words inteded as a joke? I honestly couldn't tell.
>Lesbo WW
God i wish we'd had seen her have an orgy with everyone on her lesbo island
I think it's pretty based how the creators demonstrate how the communist model can only surpass the west with an Alien Ubermensch and a evil supercomputer micromanaging every single aspect of it's populous life and lobotomizing dissidents.
You really outdone yourselves WB let this movie be a monument to shitting on commies for decades to come.
HOL UP
They don't have the letter in the movie?
kek this, I can't tell if the writers were being ironic or not there. Was that in the comic or did they add it?
