Is this any good?
Is this any good?
Who or what is robotman?
no
It's great. I literally look forward to watching it every week.
JUST
Yes. It's 10/10
it's pretty self explanatory really
I though it was Thanos
yeah its great, something to look forward to each friday
im on the 6th episode, and its just ok. kind of dumb/silly/self aware if that makes sense.
. not as dark as titans was. lost of cussing.
think of it like you think of zombie shows. z-nation is on par with this show, where walking dead is on par with titans (in terms of taking themselves seriously)
It's really good. There are parts that seem very SJW, but there are characters that dont have that same mindset that will make fun of it when it happens. It's not complex enough to make you have to explain to your girlfriend what the fuck is going on but its not dumb enough to be "lol just turn your brain off". Its just a fun show and I look forward to watching it every Friday night before I go to sleep. There are some legitimate gay parts though but all Fraser scenes are kino.
Every episode has about seven minutes of pro-gay propaganda, but everything else is very good.
>pro gay
So basically sticking with the source material? I mean they haven't even introduced Rebis yet.
Hes mostly referring to Larry scenes. Before he was a pilot he was cheating on his wife and fucking his fellow comrade. Since this was like the 50s or 60s it was a huge struggle for him that carries over into the present time. It goes back to the scene of him kissing the dude in the bed of his truck like every other episode but for different reasons. The only other gay parts are with the Danny Street episode when there are literally drag queens and trannies. It's by far the shittiest episode because the Danny Street arc is basically "lol just be urself" but the other arc of the episode with Jane/Karen, Rita, and Cliff is kino. At one point a tranny tells Cyborg to call him gender queer and Cyborg basically tells him to go fuck himself.
The show is practically a 3 person live action show. Crazy Jane carries it, along with Brendan Fraser's voice acting.
Negative man sucks. His negative personality is grating. And his whole closeted gay man storyline past sucks.
Genderqueer street...uh.
The middle season filler was a "drag." A good 2-3 episode stretch of crap.
I already know the big twist in the end. Mr. Nobody is the real hero. He got bored of being a villain and decided to help the Doom Patrol work their shit out and stop being lazy neets for 80-100 years.
Rita, Negative Man, and Robotman have been NEETs for decades. Time stopped for them.
Mr. Nobody's intervention is helping them grow.
Another DC show where Snyder's and Watchmen's influence is felt.
Is this real.
It looks like a /pol/ meme.
2x nah
>its another capeshit but kids can't watch episode
Damn Brendan has not aged well. Glad he's getting more work though.
It's fantastic, and never really drags. My only issue is that it feels they superficially create drama between characters. Sometimes we just need to see them be friends, in order to have those dramatic moments matter more.
I love the OST as well, it can really make those darker moments more meaningful
oh yeah, Timothy Dalton is playing the same character he played in Penny Dreadful.
Crazy Jane is Vanessa Ives and Dorian Gray in one.
Despite the shortcomings of Season 1, future seasons could be awesome if they increase the budget,
