Did she just call an 8 year old a woman?
Did she just call an 8 year old a woman?
Lisa has been in that same class since the 1980's.
I know what you're thinking, and you better fucking stop it right now.
The writers didn't proofread their scripts good enough?

Aside from that she's right.
She was using it in the general sense of female as opposed to male. Not making a distinction based on age.
I given up watching this show years ago. So I don't care.
The quote for those who cant read filenames easily:
This is nothing but dead-white-male bashing from a P.C. thug.
It's women like you who keep the rest of us from landing a husband.
I mean, what did she say that was wrong?
I shouldn't need to explain this, but teachers are supposed to be helping and guiding their students, and blaming your own femcel-ness on a mouthy 8 year old that's too smart for her own good is beyond ghoulish.
Her essay was titled "Jebediah Springfield: Super Fraud"
About the covered up criminal origins of the town founder.
She was correct.
Then again, it is Springfield.
sometimes people use grown up terms for children if they are being strict with them, to emphasize that what the child has done is not merely childish, but actively bad for a person to do.
Are there any moments with Miss Hoover that actually show her being a good teacher? Or is she always just bitter and jaded?
She also doesn't really have enough R34 desu.
Ms Hoover, in general, hates Lisa.
She sees Lisa as someone with a brilliant future ahead of her while Hoover's stuck in a dead-end job. Worse, she sees in Lisa, a humorless PC feminazi in training who will make life WORSE for women like Hoover; apolitical women who just want to get married, have kids, and who's teaching career was just supposed to be a stopgap measure to support herself until she could land a husband and become a trad-wife and mother.
Coomers gon coom friend the earth is burning why waste time without a boner?
I'm aware. I was mostly taking exception to that guy trying to say Lisa was the one that's wrong. I was having flashbacks to Superman Smashes the Klan threads where someone made a joke about Superman being a villain for going up against the KKK and now that's all anyone talks about.
Frankly, I prefer the creepy pedophiles to the people that think Lisa is always wrong and deserves to be miserable because they disagree with the politics of a fictional child.
She's bitter and jaded with none of Krabapple's humanity or freudian excuse (her husband leaving her) for her being a bitch in the early seasons.
