Well she is technically Asian considering her eye shape, the only French thing about her is the accent. The staff of Gusteau's is pretty diverse now that I think about it. Linguini is obviously half Italian, there was a black guy with a Jamacian accent, the tough German guy who killed a man with his thumb, etc.
