Amazing to me how people will swear Sonic Adventure 2 was edgy but defend this

Yes. Hit and miss, but still good, unlike IDW Sonic.

Also, we already have a thread for discussing Sonic, you fools. By the way, reminder to hide, ignore and report any semblance of parasite coming from /sthg/.

Looks like a fancomic with irrelevant OCs

>Sally will never slap you

I've been reading the IDW comics. They're much better.

where do you want to be slapped?

Care to qualify that, because I don't understand how you could reach that opinion. Archie had its good moments too, most of them pre-50. IDW meanwhile has had very few outstanding moments.

It's pretty much like any long running comic. Good runs, bad runs, good artists bad ones. I was digging it near the end. Shame about what went down.

Didn't we ave this thread a while back?
Everyone thought this moment was trash.

Not being as bad as Archie's worst doesn't make IDW good.

Wouldn't that destroy her hand?

>her hand
I have other parts in mind

>who cares if you want to protect everyone from the evil dictator who kept us from our families for over a decade, why don't you want to be with meeeeeeeeeee

Honestly based. Too bad sonic fandom is too busy jerking off into their own mouth to appreciate the ART of archie comics

W-what are did you want her to do to Prime?

>Yes. Hit and miss, but still good, unlike IDW Sonic.

>Comparing a comic run that has almost 300 issues to a run that isn't even at issue 30 yet

Because IDW is in a rush to establish itself.

Would you have done the Zombot arc as early as the 20s? Give two new characters their own mini when they were just barely introduced?

Probably not, but what was Archie Sonic doing in the first 30 issues?

Mostly one-shot stories. Mecha Madness was their first "big" multi issue story.

There was the Princess Sally mini series (it was pretty bad) but Sally had been a thing for years at that point).

Actually yeah. The Zombot arc gives us a scale of the world, and establishes Eggman as a genuine threat. It's established Starline, and is in the process of establishing the Babylon rogues and the Deadly Six which is important because Sonic suffers from a bad case of "everything is Eggman's fault". It gives a solid reason to continue the Resistance, and lays groundwork for a lot of conflict and payoffs. And that's just the long-term stuff.

Embarrassingly bad joke comics.

IDW has run for a couple years now and it's fair to say that most of it hasn't been good. Maybe it will turn itself around but as it stands it's dull.

Since when did anyone other than smelly diaperfurs think it was good

I thought this moment was unrealistic untill I got into my current Relationship ;-;

Thanks for the contribution, /sthg/.

this page looks like foreshadowing of Sally turning into a villain

I mean shadow angle aside she straight up says that she don't give a fuck about saving other people if it will fuck with her life

Surprised Amy let Sally say that

>gives us a scale of the world
By having the same copy/pasted plot in boring ass locations from Forces?

>It's established Starline,
They did that at the end of the Mecha Sonic arc

>establishing the Deadly Six
one-note villains like them need no establishment beyond "here they are!"

It was Jon Gray's first official comic job. He went overboard with everything.

Yikes, sally is being cringe as fuck.
