Because Batman is DC's most popular character.

Because we spent the late 90's to 2000's dealing with Batwank so this was the natural opposite reaction

They were already writing other characters shitting on Batman back then.

Because Batman is a terrible character.

Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns , which became an instant classic, rattled a lot of folks.

Batman's influence on the genre and medium has been an overwhelmingly negative one.

How about "No"?

To be fair, every DC character wanting a petty victory over Batman seems pretty realistic. Hell, Batman probably makes a game of it, provoking it intentionally.

Except from a financial standpoint, which is the standpoint that matters to DC/AT&T

Batman is a terrible character liked by only the dumbest of idiots and is a cancer on DC comics. Batman, Harley, Joker are cancerous lumps.

Because outside of other street-level characters most DC heroes can take Batman out? It's not exactly hard to understand. He's a guy with no powers who only ever wins because of the writer stacking the deck in his favor.

Because things like this

>Why writers like to write other character shitting on Batman? It always come off as a petty jealousy.

Because both him and the obsession the fans have with him is pretty much single-handedly to blame for every mistake DC has made in the last 20 to 40 years.

> making bright colorful and campy characters 'dark and gritty' to capitalize on Batmans aesthetic. Because it worked for Batman, so it MUST work for characters like Flash right? Which backfired horribly in both the New 52 and the DCEU movies.

> Him being wanked by writers like Frank Miller and Denny Oneil to be so impossibly competent to the point of being a Mary Sue. To the point where he can defeat overpowered characters like Darkseid and Superman. and it's usually at the expense of the integrity of DCs other characters.

> He hogs the spotlight from pretty much every other character in DCs pantheon. Other characters don't matter. The second Batman walks in, it's instantly all about him and his story and him leading the heroes, and fuck Superman and everyone else.

Because Bruce has been a douchebag for ages. Without calling him out for it it's unbearable.

BTAS was goated though

Ah, the Superman fanboy has shown up.

The New 52 happened because Dan Didio and Jim Lee wanted to turn DC into the Marvel Universe. It had nothing to do with Batman.
The DCEU happened because Warner Bros think of themselves as the auter movie studio and wanted their cinematic universe to be "serious" and "epic" like the Lords of the Rings.
Miller and O'Neil's Batman was a common guy who constantly got his shit pushed in by common thugs carrying knives and tires.
The one constantly wanked the moment he shows up in the comic books is Superman who's always portrayed as the king of superheroes and ultimate savior.
There are more shit produced with character simple because he's well-liked and thus popular.

Marvel did it with Iron Man but to be fair it was justified.

It depends on the writer, pic related is from a Titans annual a few years. In this the Titans and their former mentors have been captured and placed randomly around an underground facility. Arthur begins to take charge but the writer thinks only Batbois should lead...

I can't be mead I'm a sucker for will drawn kicks

A few pages later Batman shows up and orders both Flashes to do what Aquaman was going to suggest even goes so far as calling Wally "boy". And nobody bats an eye! DC comics are full of moments like this that make Batman act like a dickbag.

Forgot file.

but thats not batman beating up the speedsters

superman has to endure it in real life and the comics

For sure. It makes sense that everyone would want to get one over on the guy who apparently knows exactly how to defeat them and keeps that plan on a USB drive.

wich comic?

>The most famous superhero of the universe, seen as a beacon of hope and justice, only inspired people when he was dead

And batman is supposed to be one of the smarttest guy in the world eh ?

Why are you using Infinite Crisis as an example? His entire arc in that story is that he's become a paranoid wreck and his distrust in the other heroes are half of what leads to the villains nearly winning in the first place.

The literal point of this series was to take a dump on Batman's line here

I would've choked out Batman right there.

Do you think this place read comics? It also ends with him trying to shoot Alexander Luthor Jr with a clock and Wonder Woman stopping him, this after he had given her shit for killing Maxwell Lord.

Hope and Inspiration are 2 different things. That being said, I'm sure Superman both gives hope AND inspiration, but Batman said "really inspired", because Superman's presence starts to have less effect if he's around all the time.

Whoah. WHOAH! Is that...concern on Batman's face? Someone's getting fired.

This. The people writing DC now grew up seeing Batgod shit on all their favorite characters so now they’re whetting even

Barry at least apologizes to Wally.

Attached: Legacy.jpg (1041x1600, 509K)

Batman said this to Superman because back then he had learned that Superman had been aware that the Justice League mind-wiped him for the longest time but kept his mouth shit because he didn't want to rock the boat, and during that whole era Superman had taken the stance of avoid involving himself in anything too controversial.

Bruce is so goddamn butthurt in that page it is hilarious.

Attached: idg8qc.jpg (650x1004, 110K)

Also bearing in mind that Batman wasn't really in the moral clear either. In the leadup to this he'd bluntly dismissed Ted Kord's attempt to investigate in to Checkmate, which resulted in him getting killed, and then blew off Booster Gold when he tried to investigate Ted's death and was designing Brother Eye at the same time which resulted in the events of The OMAC Project and ended with Diana being forced to kill Maxwell Lord herself. The fucking story spells out that Batman had gone too far when the villains try to approach him to get him in on the plan because they think he would agree with them. It was a mutual breakdown of trust between all three members of the Trinity, it wasn't just "SUPERMAN BAD BATMAN GOOD"

Yeah. Ted was also one of his good friends too, but he was so blind by rage and paranoia he couldn't give a fuck to anyone else.

Attached: file.png (512x395, 450K)

Oh, man. He really pulled the trigger. I didn't remember that.

Hold up. Why is Garth of all people questioning Arthur's authority?

This is almost as stupid as Diana not trusting Donna. Almost.

Rebirth Titans sucked all around.

>batfags believe this.

Batman is the only thing keeping DC afloat now
The fact that writers get away with this so much is truly a sign that they want DC to fail

Attached: 1532236395793.jpg (600x911, 89K)

and then they get to gloat about the fact that they beat up and embarrassed a man with no powers
truly a Pyrrhic victory for them

God imagine the smell

Because other writers(and fans) unjustly attribute Batman, a street-level detective who often has trouble fighting people like Bane, The Joker, The Riddler, as this all-powerful, omniscient being who can create and destroy infinite cosmos.

Add to that his colossal hubris and ego, and a Man as amoral as Bruce Wayne has no right lecturing anyone on right and wrong and morals when he routinely puts Children in danger, whom sometimes die.

Actually it's the opposite. If he becomes infallible, people will find him obnoxious and begin to dislike him. Look at the thread you are posting in.

Attached: SHUT THE FUCK UP BRUCE.jpg (1280x2017, 762K)

>he routinely puts Children in danger, whom sometimes die.
That's all DC sidekicks.

That's blaming a single character for something that's a staple of the company as a whole. Like making him into a sick and deranged person for putting on a mask and fighting crime when Green Arrow is something that exist.

Everything on these pages is retarded

What can you expect from Tom King?

He is not wrong tho

Just remember if you hurt Bruce his husband will hurt you.

Attached: s.png (1200x991, 74K)

Yeah, we all remember Supes' vicious revenge on Bane.

Because Batman is too based

Stay mad

i can't even

>guy rape some who
>get lobotomy
>others villains destroy worlds and kill millions
>nah we can take the chance they can escape prison no problem
This hq is such a joke.

This is the moment I truly loved jaimie, it’s just so honest, perfect and everything I’ve ever wanted out of these types of books.

Remember when Superman's reaction when he thought Darkseid had killed Batman?

They did it to protect their secret identities. It was entirely self-serving.

Attached: Superman_51jpg_FinalCrisis_6_p34.jpg (652x1023, 1.15M)

Because Batman is the best comicbook character so authors and fanboys naturally sperg out against him because they feel inferior.

Attached: 1496005123729.jpg (459x600, 110K)

Because he is not a superhero. Just some manchild dressed as an animal.

Why do writers like to write other super powered heroes jobbing to Batman? It always come off as a dick sucking fanboyism

What was the justification for the league not intervening with knight fall?

Because if they did the story would be over.

Let me put it this way. Batman is the reason why the dail max out a 11 when they can go up to 30. The moment you add Batman to the game, you lose your command moves, air dashes, guard points, ex moves, advance drives, advance cancels, overheads, and cross ups. The batman patch makes all other characters unplayable, so his low tier ass can be usable.

DC doesn't push the other characters because they have no faith in them. That's not on Batman, nigga.

it is dick sucking fanboyism

Batman is a bit of an ass and antagonizes people alot, at least the versions of Batman I've seen/read

Think they were on the mend themselves from getting fucked up by Doomsday. And had problems of their own at the time.

Man, IC was dumb. It made no sense for Batman to completely brush off the concerns of a man who he had worked with for years, was just as smart and skilled as him and was pretty much he's equal in all aspects to instead work on a system that was basically what Kilg&re, aka the insane machine that planned to kill the Justice League and replace all of the leaders of the world with robot slaves until Maxwell Lord stopped it, was originally intended to do.

But you won't rape Joker, will you?

Radical Feminism?

Go punch catwoman.

>Why writers like to write other character shitting on Batman?

Because writers keep writing shitty stories about Bruce "struggles against Riddler on a regular basis" being able to "preptime" against anyone else and win.

The response is well deserved. Flash COULD hit Bruce a hundred times a second. Doesn't make Flash a better character, does make it fucking retarded that we keep getting stories about how Batman could totally take Flash down.

To be fair, the none-shit with the OMACs wasn't created by Batman. Batman and Mister Terrific only created the spy satellite and the purpose was so it could spy the heroes and see if they were abusing their powers.

Attached: The OMAC Project 02 (2005-05-00) (digital) (Glorith-Novus).cbz-P00006.jpg (1074x1650, 378K)

>mad
That would be (You), Projection Boy.

>does make it fucking retarded that we keep getting stories about how Batman could totally take Flash down.
Or Captain Cold, or Captain Boomerang, or the Trickster, or any of Flash's other rogues, really.

I mean Waid's the one who wrote him actively devising and writing entire manuals on how to murder his close friends and associates because they *might* go rogue one day, blowing Ted Kord off isn't even particularly bad in comparison to that.

Garth and Arthur usually have never gotten along. Out of the fan five they usually had the worst relationship.

Honestly the death of Superman seems like the perfect justification of total anarchy. Sometimes you gotta year it up

Sauce.
