How is what?

Not as bad as the rabid internet hate will have you believe, but not really good either.

Basically futurama with a progressive story arc across the season.

It's okay. The biggest problem is that it's a comedy but almost all of the jokes don't land for me.

Bean needs more lewds.

Honestly, not worth investing the time in. The characters that are good rarely show up, it can't decide if it wants to be a plot driven show or just episodic .There IS good stuff in there, but I wouldn't revisit the show

not funny but entertaining

They seem to ride the fence about whether they want to be episodic or not. For example, they sent Bean to Steam Land, which was imaginative and gave a really great mood to her innocent exploration of it. But scarcely had she been there a few minutes than she had to flee and run off, returning home once again.

It's good, the characters are fun.

Absolute SHIT and a waste of time.

Doesn't know if it wants to be a satire of feudalism and medieval politics, fantasy, or RPGs like that one MMO Simpsons episode which was weirdly decent for Zombie-era.
Matt Groening should watch the works of Monty Python.

Interesting.

Is Bean attractive?

Breddy gud

Bean is what would be considered a butterface. Healthy body, but no jaw line. She has the looks of someone that you wouldn't feel ashamed to approach.

Season 1 was boring and a chore to watch, but Season 2 introduces more plot and becomes a lot more watchable. Hopefully Season 3 continues in that fashions if it happens.

It got renewed for another 20 episodes, so we'll see how it goes.

>Lilly white pubes.

Bean is a cute drunk.

The first season was good up until the last three episodes. Then it started to try to do a story arc and to have problems completely reversed or sweep consequences under the rug to keep the status quo. I would be fine with one or the other but combining the two is a bad idea. They even half assed trying to say that she is being punished for her past actions but with the current track record of the show it is going to be solved in three episodes in season three. Season two's jokes also sucked and I was disappointing for me cause they teased having Bosch like demons to be in the show only for them to once again forget about it.

once it is revealed that this is your basic kitchen sink fantasy the like of D&D I stopped caring about the world itself and its politics. This is also a major problem. It feels all over the place. I wont get over how before Bean could do all this stuff she wanted only with the disapproval of her father but all of a sudden they pull a "remember sexism exists?". Or how they completely changed Elfo's personality for one joke for one short scene? Or how you live in a high magic fantasy realm and have seen non-humans but god might not exist because ha ha church bad even though you don't really got any other explanation for magic?

I would probably be her friend but not that attractive.

It's too slow and every joke was already done a million times and better in other shows of the last 30 years. Especially since Groening shows work the best as satire and funny social commentaries and this only worked with the 90s Simpsons and Futurama later but there is no room for this in a medieval fantasy show, all he can do here is parodying serious fantasies show and this was done to death and the big fantasy hype is gone anyway.

Cutting room floor futurama with a budget Shrek coat of paint.

The writers cannot stay consistant with the main character's personality. Then they shoe horn some lore at the end for the reason of cliffhangers for another season.

It's boring.

Good enough to watch once but not worth rewatching it

The main problem is that the show spends tons of time establishing a mystery that isn't worth the buildup, really. To make it worse comedy is being sacrificed for the sake of this plot.
Another problem is that there is no spicy chemistry between the characters in my opinion. Compare the trio here with the colorful power team of Futurama for example. And Bean is somewhat of a lowkey Bart Simpson, but the whole point of Bart was his conflict with expectations of society and his parents and his rebellious attitude towards that as well as him being a smart underachiever - none of this works for Bean because the setting is simply too random and fantastical. Most people can relate to Bart when they are kids but it's really hard relating to a princess. Bean would actually work way better as a pub loving woman in nowaday's society for me. Someone who lacks motivation to be good at her job and tries to find happiness elsewhere where it will most likely backfire and make her depressed again, which will cause her to be even less motivated and resort more often to pub visits, rinse and repeat.

Kinda boring. but watchable.

Most mediocre Groening show without a doubt, not unwatchable like modern Simpsons but painfully meh from the start. There's a reason why there's never any threads about it, even while S2 was brand new.

Unlike zombiesimpsons it isn't even bad enough to make fun about it.

I seriously laughed at this.

Yeah, at least people talk about how shit Simpsons is. I've never heard anyone talk about Disenchantment aside from a few threads here.
King Zog is based though, easily the best character in the series.

I like it. Looking forward to the next season.
