Funny, when I was a kid I never made that association.
Yeah she was cosplaying Spawn, that's fucking awesome.
Not a big fan. But last night I rewatched the PPG movie. Who wants to talk about it?

Great

Dog shit 90s edge.
Makes me wonder really
"Why have I've been keeping this image saved?"
>HBO series
Are you trying to trick me because I would give that a shot.
You never heard of or saw the HBO cartoon?
Blossom really ran away to the moon to be alone.
Fuck I forget how dark it got sometimes.
Hey, there were three good issues. And an alright 90s edge one written by Miller.
I assumed it was bad.
Oh my no.
It's such a great idea it manages to persist even though most of it is crap.
Billy Kincaid scared the fuck out of me. Demons, supervillain, and general monster are a Hollywood type of scare. But a pedophile ice cream man is something that could exist in your neighborhood, and Jesus this guy was a monster. Before him I never really saw Super heroes fight a that kind of grounded evil before.
why?
because of some dumb sketch you saw on robot chicken when you were an impressionable supple teen?
the comic she's reading about looks like spawn
HBO show was kino.

Haven't read the book since issue 200 or something like that.
Was really into it when I was 11 years old, the story is bad and goes nowhere at all, gave up after about 70 issues, the show was fucking great tho
TAS is based as all fuck
comics are okay
Dreamcast game kicked ass but that console had a lot of kickass games so it was easy to miss
>gave up after about 70 issues
Should've stuck to 100. I agree though, it's a monotonous comic. I always felt like it's medium restricted it too much, hence why the show was better. There's also the issue of Spawn being confined to a rather uneventful universe. If he was in Marvel/DC it probably would've been better for the character.
I'm glad it put Capullo on the map though, he's still one of my favorite artists.
>Dreamcast game kicked ass
True. Very fast paced and fun.
Spawn is a very cool character and concept who unfortunately doesn't have a really great direction for his stories
I only had a few Spawn comics as a kid, and I always felt like "wtf am I reading"
