Why would he be? There’s nothing he would’ve added to the story.

>He watches capeshit disney propaganda willingly.
Holy shit, this level of onions far exceeds my expectations!

Same could be said for red skull before infinity war

False

Why, it's a stupid thread

Out of all the villains to bring back Ultron would be the easiest

Just say he had a backup on a USB or something

That design was terrible
That movie was terrible
If anything, Age of Ultron should've been this big epic with ded heroes and time travelling, fight me

James spaders voice was kino tho

Didn't iron dude's computer absorb the tron guy?

Red skull got spirited away for fucking with an infinity stone. Fans had been wondering and speculating about whether he was dead or where he was ever since the end of The First Avenger.

AoU is better than Avengers Assemble. Seriously, the first Avengers film looks and sounds like it was made for TV. Whedon is a fucking hack and I'm glad marvel limited his input in AoU or it would have been much worse.

Age of Ultron was one of the worst blockbusters ever made

As it is, Ultron was the movie that broke him in Hollywood.

I agree, i never understood why the first Avengers movie is so praised. Sure it was a big crossover back then, but it was so mediocre i never wanted to watch it again after i left the theatre. Still, AoU was disappointing.

Which i'm quite glad about.

I do unironically think its better than the first Avengers film though. When I rewatched it recently I was genuinely surprised the franchise had managed to survive it. It must have been on pure hype because the film was fucking trash. Whedon's terrible quippy dialogue is also the reason for the current state of quipshit

To understand why you have to go back to Buffy the Vampire Slayer, 27 years ago.

>that design was terrible
Wasn't there an earlier design that was much better?

See, buffy and angel I actually liked. It was campy television schlock. The problem is he then tried applying that low budget feel to blockbuster movies.

It's what they hired him for. To his credit he wrote better plots than the Russos. The plot of Winter Soldier was so fucking stupid I had to stop watching it and then come back later.

I think OP is talking about the old leaks which, to be honest, sounded more interesting. Thanos was going to use the stones at the end of the movie to bring back old villains to fight the heroes. I think the heroes were going to get Hela as well to help fight off Thanos too. Disappointing that we just got a lame ass battle with the heroes fighting a bunch of nobodies.

He didn't write Buffy and Angel alone.

To be fair i think they hired him purely for nerd cred, not any specific talent.
