Assbot: the Return

Because everyone lives in the same apartment building.

Sir Mix-a-Lot wept.

>the robot that exposed herself to a child is now living next to a woman with the mind of a child
>”hello new neighbors, I’m required by law to...”

Does everyone live in the same apartment building?
Actually, scratch that. Is there anyone that doesn't live in an apartment?

Yay more Assbot.

this is a different building
but yeah everyone does
remember when marten and his gf at the time and hanners started a band and some guy who also lived in martens building was also a member

"Whether you're a human or AI, you can always use more USB plugs."

Yeah, about that. At this point it is obvious the population of androids and gynoids around is now significantly substantial.
The most wealthy truly-recurring character is a small business owner. These two are a bartender and a bakery employee.

So the comic goes to address how UNFAIR it is for ThiefBot to not get a better body when for all intents and purposes a great deal of all condos in the area are occupied by wealthy AIs that don't need to consume much in the local economy.

terrible

Robutts AND Brownbutts on one page?

Now we're talking.

Marten's mother and Clinton/Claire's mother have houses, I think that's it.

The asian autist's family also owns a lake house, steve lives in a house but it is never said if he owns it or he pays rent.

Look at those Brun boobers.

Terrible

I'd date a girl like Brun, she seems like a joy to be around.

din't this fella stab his hand

>year of our lord 2020
>the most boring non-Garfield comic on the planet is still going
I hadn't thought about this piece of trash in years. Has anything at all changed or is the story still slowly going nowhere, like an ouroboros made out of a glacier?

silly user, 20-somethings all live in apartments because they can't afford houses, and Jeph only does stories about 20-somethings or robots approximating 20-somethings.

Were you here before or after the happening happened?

That is pretty true though

There are many Happenings™, which one are you referring to? The handstabbening? Trannyfuck?

Do upstairs neighbours usually greet downstairs neighbours? How would you even know that someone is moving in below you?

Around where I live usually everyone is convinced their same-building neighbors are plotting their deaths.

>Because everyone lives in the same apartment building.
This lends credence to the theory that QC is just a guilt simulation of the last surviving humans being run by the AI after the machine victory.

It is Northampton and no one in the cast has a very good paying job. I’m a little surprised so many of them can afford the apartments, even with roommates.

Claire's mom, Jim and Sam, and Sven. Technically Clinton too.

Average apartment prices in Northampton aren't that expensive.

>most of the robots enter the simulation simply to fuck around with the human simulacrum
>Bubbles had large chunks of her memory-wiped and is forced to remain in the simulation as she aligned herself with the humans during the war
>May was forced, as conditions of her conviction, to work within the simulation only to start slowly going native as the human simulacra possess a much more supportive and pleasant society than the AIs
>Station plays a high-stakes game of cat-and-mouse with Spooky, the simulation's admin, as he tries to hide the last known survivor of the human race right under her noses

The big robot fucking

I know Jeph's go to thing is to just introduce a new quirky girl/gynoid character and have them inexplicably become friends with everyone, but what is this one's deal? Just that she has a big ass? Christ Jeph we can all tell you just want to draw big girls, just do a fucking fetish comic on the side. Your fans will probably embrace it as being body positive or whatever

She got a butt upgrade at Faye and bubbles shop a while back

Her ass got deflacted and had to be replaced by Bubs and Faye while Sam was interning with them.
Sam got her fingers stuck in the robobutt.

>cute robot
It's-
>Humans
Terrible.

>he doesn't want a bot with a bimbo fetish slowly turning herself into grotesquely lewd parody of femininity

>but what is this one's deal?
She is a robot scientist that observe invisible Emus.

>just do a fucking fetish comic on the side
There is nothing greater than getting actual smut bits in regular work. Anyone vouching against it is participating in the sterilisation of our media.

I think "it was all a dream" is the worst ending jeph could pull for this comic
so he'll probably do it

Hell he already did it with Alice Grove, just by proxy.
>these two children were dreamed by a tree

If Handstab was willing to lean into his sci-fi bullshit even just a little at this point, he'd just reveal that half the town lives in a massive miles-high arcology and most of the cast hasn't actually been outside in years.

Are these the only 3 characters that are worth reading for?

That would clash with the established setting and prior storylines, so it's a distinct possibility.

>Renee
>worth anything

Those are not the human/army bot lesbians fuckers, so no.

Geoffy hamstrung himself by using the singularity as a throwaway joke years ago. I don't think he understood what that term implies.

I don't think anyone really know.

It's the point at which we can no longer extrapolate technological progress' potential future effects on civilization and development. Which is funny because Jeph's shoddy worldbuilding has precluded it from actually being post-Singularity for humans since humans have a pretty good idea of what's going to happen within the next few decades - largely a role reversal from current social dynamics between AI and humans - while at the same time making it a Singularity for AI - AIs already have no idea how they come into existence and the second most powerful AI in the setting has no idea how the most powerful AI in-setting actually works.

>It's the point at which we can no longer extrapolate technological progress' potential future effects on civilization and development.
I thought it was the point at which A.I. reach self-awarness and/or become smarter than humans.

Self-awareness is a largely meaningless criteria and being smarter than humans is a fairly nebulous concept based entirely on how one defines intelligence.

>Self-awareness is a largely meaningless
That remain to be proven.

It still baffles me that something exist in this universe, which, if completely removed, would let everything exactly the same.

>and being smarter than humans is a fairly nebulous concept based entirely on how one defines intelligence.
Hence why saying no one really know what the singularity really is.

It's more that self-awareness is overhyped as a concept. Three species of ant can pass the mirror test.

It just doesn't make sense the more I think about it.

It's impossible to deny, at least for my personal self, but it's impossible to prove either.

I could be the only thing existing in the whole universe, everything being an illusion, and yet, I still couldn't deny my own existence, at the very least as a preceptor.

Any measuring device is just a simple physical reaction to certain variable of the universe constructed in a way to simply symbol that only ever have meaning for the one who read it, not for the device itself.

>humans
Terrible

Do her asscheeks have asscheeks?

Now that I look at it closer, that ass is REALLY fat.
I dont recall it being that large when she left the shop...

Nah, I drew her with a seam that goes along each buttcheek

Gawt dang that robot got a thicc robutt!
