Kids don't like the army or war, but they still like shooting eachother. Which is why I'm amazed Hasbro doesn't just push for a Fortnite tie-in. There are kids playing that who will have never seen a G.I.Joe character before.

Or just a straight up G.I.Joe shooter. Unique characters with vehicles. But it would cost money to make an impact, and not sure many devs want to risk it on the license.

My son plays fornite every so often and I thought it would be cool to see them have Joe skins. I'd would let him have money to buy those.

Make it tacticool and with a realistic color palette, but go completely crazy with the plots.

No political shit or a convoluted season story, just Cobra trying to conquer the world with silly plans like using an aztec stone with mysterious ancient power to build a laser, or by cloning american generals with mud, or stuff like that.

Also, forget already about Duke, Snakeeyes, Roadblock and Scarlet, just use any of the other bazillon characters, don't use the same members twice at least for an entire season

Bro, if you don't think that lots of liberals still do plenty of worship of THE TROOPS, then you've been lucky enough to not see anything produced by the liberal establishment lately.

You can object to policy and such without being against the entire thing, Larry Hama described himself as, "I am against war but I am for the soldier."

While I prefer Hama's comics, I think that the first IDW reboot actually did a good job of having the conflict be not so much one side or another, but having GI Joe be honest public servants and with Cobra and other villains specifically predating upon corruption.

I think that finding a non-corny way to go in on the public service thing would be the way to have it appeal to everyone without going full cartoony, liberals and conservatives alike agree on that. Even your tankie lefties are in favor of the general idea, with only the really libertarian/anarchokiddie aspect of either left or right finding that offensive in any way.
