I actually imagine it was in Cameron's original script. His original draft was like 60 pages longer, almost a whole hour, but Rodriguez only kept what was essential, and Cameron said none of his favorite stuff was cut. Considering Cameron loves his love scenes, there was probably another one in there somewhere. It would be nice, sure, but not necessary to the story, so he would be fine with it cut.

I'm working on some cute shit for some time tomorrow but I wanted to post this sneak peek for the evening friends.
You arrive to the sound of faint music through the apartment door. Pausing for a moment, you smile as you recognise Alita’s singing. The notes are beautiful and clear; you ever so carefully inch the door open so as not to disturb her. You sneak your way in to the living room doorway and you watch as she spins across the floor, her sky-blue sundress fluttering as she sings the last line of her favourite song.

You feel adoring warmth rising through your heart as she finishes her twirl and strikes a pose, hands on her hips and hair a floofy mess. She catches sight of you, and her smile becomes an abashed grin with her face quickly turning bright red. Your heart aches at the love you feel, and after gently dropping your things you wrap her in a tight hug. She buries her head in your chest and you kiss her lily-scented hair.

It's obvious there are multiple time jumps in the film that happen, or situations that are cut out that aren't necessary, like we cut away from Alita and Hugo kissing on the bridge to Chiren and Vector in their lab. Well, what ended up happening with Hugo and Alit? Either Hugo left right after that, or they went back to his apartment to do... stuff. Then he left to go hang out with Vector, which would explain how Alita knows where his apartment is, and she comes back to gawk at him the following morning. From the way Alita and Hugo act around each other in later scenes, it's like they had been dating seriously for months.

I don't know how the Koreans did it, but the people in China and Norway had a group of people. In Taiwan, I think they had to buy out the whole auditorium to guarantee the Imax screening would happen, but the theaters in China and Norway seems to have just have made extra screenings and opened it up to the public.
Showing interest by emailing the theater as a single person will probably just be met with a courteous "duly noted" response. But theaters in my country put on screenings for schools and businesses all the time, so getting an extra screening is just a matter of having the people, and the film still being available to the theater. (In the old days, the prints would be returned or destroyed - but in the digital era they do things a bit differently?)
