Is anything beyond season one worth watching? I was a big fan of the movie and the first one, but heard mixed things about the second and third seasons.

second wasnt that great, third was alright. loved the first season.
First season is indeed the best but I enjoyed the other two seasons. It's definitely a diminishing returns kind of thing.
Season 2 was my favorite
Second season picks up a few episodes in, and the cast is great.
Third just devolves into pandering shitshow.
S3 is absolute kino
3rd was the weakest yet, but I still thoroughly enjoyed it
i loved all seasons.
The second one starts slow but the last 4 episodes are insane. One of the only times I couldn't wait to see what happens next.
S2 made S1 irrelevant, it improved in evry aspect
Martin Freeman was so fucking impressive in Fargo s1 its unbelievable
Season 2 is kino, has one or two silly moments but is full of brilliant movie-tier setpieces like the first season and amazing performances, the only unforgivable part in one episode is a ham-fisted attempt to tie a subplot in to a subplot of season 1
Season 3 had a huge amount of potential and a villain to rival Malvo in David Thewlis, but blew it completely with a wandering plot that emulated the worst of the actual Coen Bros. work by going with a wandering plot that ignores the initial premise without even the satisfaction of a thematically cogent unhappy ending
I still get shivers when he uses the stapler
Not even one of the more violent moments in the series but it's just the kind of real-world cringe-ouch that you can believe your real-life psycho workmate eventually lashing out with
>that scene in episode 9 where Malvo goes to Lou's diner and Lou immediately clocks that Malvo is bad fucking news
Second was pretty damn good for the most part, and relates to season 1 so it's interesting
Third season, didn't watch so I couldn't tell you
what this user said 2 was really fucking good, great characters, everyone used properly, great atmosphere, great music, great plot, only idiots with the attention span of a goldfish disagree on the greatness of the 9th episode, but there was this flaw in the epilogue that really sours it up, mainly because it wasn't necessary at all and its sooo far-fetched that it's just not believable, even for the standard of the serie.
3 went down in flames the last 40 minutes because they ignored 9 episodes of set-up, don't know what they were thinking, felt like Rian Johnson came up with that script.
season one was trash
Season 2 is top tier kino and you're a fag if you disagree
Is it better than the movie?
parts of it are equal
some individual setpieces and performances, better
The scene after where he has to negotiate with the Gerharts is pure kino
it was really amazing, and I feel like it complemented TD season 1. I watched them back to back.
S2>S3>S1
but teens love S1 because of muh epic hitman and its easy narrative, basically they would prefer a show of just malvo doing a different hit each week
season 2 is my favorite, though every facet seems to be designed for me personally
2nd season is alright. Definitely not as big a drop off as True Detective. The 3rd season is really just David Thewlis carrying it with a spectacular performance.
Redo the cop storyline and fix the ending and I'd say its prolly better than 2
