They all do. Game of Yawns has devolved into people sitting or standing around talking while they loop the sound of a fire crackling into the background. It's one of the most literal examples of breaking the rule of visual media, which is "show, don't tell." Yes, they punch things up at the end of episodes with a quick bit of action (usually) and then blow their wad in an episode twice a season with a CGI battle, but the rest of the time I would be bored too.

You just don't understand the deep political machinations happening in virtually every scene.

I think Sophie genuinely cares about her role and has fun in it. Kit Harrington looks like he doesn't give a fuck and will probably deny he was ever on GOT down the road.

I've never been able to tell whether Harrington's been phoning it in or is just a shit actor. All I've ever seen him in is GoT and that trash Silent Hill Revelations movie, where not giving a shit would have made just as much sense. But it's not like he was delivering moving performances in the first few seasons.
