MK 11 reeks of MK movie nostalgia and I love it.

The Sub-Zero fight was a let down but I guess that had to nerf him for the movie.

I'm a bit torn. On one hand it's the original aesthetic that made this series what it is, and reliving MKI through 3 in the 2011 game felt so good. On the other, I feel MK also is approaching the point where it relies a bit too heavy on nostalgia and "remember this" to maintain appeal, while any new elements introduced just reek of fads nobody will care about in a few years.

I feel like MK is quite literally Nostalgia: The franchise but I do understand what you mean, user.
