Movies that could have been perfect but suffered from a lead role miscasting

Movies that could have been perfect but suffered from a lead role miscasting
I actually think Kate Winslet was the one that was miscast in this. Jim Carrey was believable in his role, but he had no chemistry with Winslet whatsoever and that ruined the movie for me.
>he had no chemistry with Winslet whatsoever
He wasn't supposed to. The idea was that they were a bad match and you were supposed to feel that he loved her, but that they didn't fit well together. They were supposed to come off like that when interacting. If they had chemistry then the rest wouldn't work at all.
Who would've been the right choice? Ryan Gosling?
Yes
Good to see the movie went entirely over your head OP
>Predators 2012
Adrien Brody replacing Arnold is one of the most laughable ideas Hollywood has ever had. 100% nepotism. Not that I think the movie would be that much better with someone like Chris Hemsworth or Ben Affleck, but at least those would be an acceptable replacement.
>Natural Born Killers
Juliette Lewis.
>Society 1989
Billy Warlock thinks he is Al Pacino/Robert DeNiro
obviously
He was perfectly cast you fuck
Bet you also didn’t like Punch Drunk Love you absolute Plebbit faggot. Please leave and take your shit opinions with you.
The casting was perfect lmao niggas
>eternal sunshine
>almost perfect
Fucking pleb
Fucking this. Literally every other character is perfectly cast, but Scott himself is so miscast it drags the entire fucking thing down.
he was perfect
>mike meyers
eeeesh. Does Neve Campbell and Salma Hayek have a lesbian scene?
He did look like the owner of 54 in the movie.
Prove objectively that his character wasn't believable
With the exception of the three main guys there are only two people worth a damn in this movie. The confederate general and Angel Eyes henchman. This is the one part i think the second movie does way better.
hey fuck you dude! yeah you! op. dumb fuckin idiot. Jim is a great actor. stupid fucking zoomer faggot fuckhead

But his character was nothing like Arnold. It wasn't supposed to be. Especially considering the plot twist. He's supposed to look like an unassuming everyday guy.
I thought it was a pretty bad miscast to hire Felicity Jones for the role of a middle-aged bearded man.
They both did a great job, but the characters felt way younger than how both Jim and Kate looked.
They felt like a couple in their early or mid 20s, out of the teenager romance stage but not yet mature enough to know when something doesn't work.
They look way to old to be making those kind of mistakes, but I guess now that everyone is a permanent mental teenager it doesn't matter that much.
