i'll be honest, seasons 1-4 are pretty kino tier. shit drops off 5-7 when they jump from the books naturally, but given the fact they knew that they'd have to write their own shit eventually it's not terrible. it's not great, at best mediocre, but honestly this adaptation was good enough. if it ends with jaime azor ahai it'll go up to a great adaptation in my books.
