the only trilogy I can think of that got better with each movie
also Jackass 3D is the only movie I’ve seen where the 3D technology improved the film
poo diving
Jackass 2 felt like they were at their craziest.
>after the bike landed on my pelvis, every beat of my heart spew out a pint of blood out of my penis.
Shame they got old.
Jacksss:The Next Generation when?
Wildboyz
any sketch involving bam and snakes in number two or 3D
This.
Also this.
The thing about 3 though, it was when most of them were realizing they where getting old. Some of them were getting clean.
Steve-O had actual enthusiasm in 3.
It was the most wholesome too, they were just having fun. When I watched the Giant High Five, I was won over by that one.
Before the movies.
Viva la Bam
>you will never see the crew get together for kino jackass 4 where everyone still looks youthful and everything comes together
>Giant High Five
Absolute classic. It so simple. So effective. It isn't mean or cruel or disgusting or offensive, just funny.
Never. Sequels are never a good idea
The one where Bam builds his friend a skatepark.
Probably Ehren getting double buttfucked in the terrorist prank at the end of Jackass 2
>mfw dude carries in soup
jackass 3/3.5
good times
always hated this fucking shit
I enjoy the really lo-fi feel of the first movie. The other two are too polished looking in comparison.
is this a legit picture of bam?
Never. It was 0/10 from beginning to end.
didn't they do this with Britney spears also?
of course she refused the shit, it got replaced with water
Team Knoxville > Team Bam
youtube.com
>Are you crying?
>Yes
>Can we get Bam some water? Maybe a shirley temple?
Does Jackass still air on TV? If so, someone should really be a real hero and digitise them for posterity. The only versions online are rips from the early 2000s in the worst quality.
I bought the ‘complete’ collection DVDs but it’s only highlights of the show with all the copyrighted music removed. Bullshit.
2 is my personal favorite, but 1 and 3 are equally great.
>ywn see classic MTV shows with the music in them
In what timeline you are living dude? Don't you have the complete dvd set?
cky
>bam gets hit
>his body is completely rigid the whole way to the floor
I still remember it, what, ten years later. one of maybe four good bits
i don't think it actually is "complete" as it just includes the previous home releases which were highlight shows and not the actually televised episodes.
With CKY2K
There is literally no complete DVD set. It’s made up of volumes 1-3 and The Lost Tapes and each one is a mishmash of skits from the TV series but no full episodes.
God, that was so fucking gross.
Bam getting hit was the best one. His feet stay planted to the ground, while the rest of him just goes flying.
>HE FELL FOR THE SOUP
This thread seems like the only decent place to escape game of fags. Don't let it die lads.
Dico > everyone else
Johnny had the best banter
>takes a hit from an NFL player
>'Make sure you don't hit me with your purse next time'
>half unconscious after taking a beating from Butterbean
>'Is Butterbean ok?'
>worst quality
They shot the show on home video cameras in the early 200s and broadcast it in a pre-HD era; there was no "good quality," it will always look horrible by modern standards.
t. guy who remembers the show when it came out and shared the rips with all the guys in his dorm
Knoxville was a turbo chad
Jackass 3
HE FELL FOR THE SOUP

drinking prestons sweat was worse, i couldnt and still cant watch that shit

Those fucking superhuman leg moves when in fear
If you get a chance, watch this docu. Really goes into the depths of Steve-O's severe drug problem, some of the footage is hard to watch as hes shaking and borderline unconscious after just huffing tons of nitrous and probably on tons of other drugs. Really documents his spiral downwards and how he became a complete mess, one step from being dead. To top it all off, it shows what a good friend Knoxville and the gang actually are. They intervened and saved his life when he was going to kill himself. The scene linked (at 31:25) shows how serious knoxville is about saving steve-o
When Ryan Dunn plowed into a tree and splattered all over the fuckin' dashboard.
Good prank, solid execution. Shame about the mess afterwards though...
>jackass 3D came out in 2010
jesus
Pontius is the thinking mans Chad
we're getting old
>that angle that he goes down
almost scripted slapstick tier but obviously real, kino
>All the memories make me want to go back there, back there
>All the memories, how can we make it back there, back there
Before you were born.
>tfw you still don't know if it's wrong to be strong
No, they’re shit ultra low bitrate rips with terrible contrast and saturation compared to the original aired versions. Want to know how an analog hand cam filmed show can look even worse? Watch the Jackass TV tips on a 1080p HDTV.
t. 37 yo boomer that also watched the show when it originally aired
my turbonegro
*tv rips
Holy Phil mode
Stern, but fair
The way Bam's body looked every time he ate the fucking dirt makes me laugh just thinking about it. Literally like a rag doll.
Yep, that is definitely up there.
cringe embodiment
I used to love Pontius’s ad-libs
--Mustard Man--
The mustard man finally caught him.
>not Beastman vs Skeletor
johnny knoxville should have played the Joker against afflecks BvS Batman.
youtu.be
Seriously I need this in my life again, have the old cast be there as mentors/judges, it's not that hard.
>Johnny Knoxville as the Joker
this sounds more kino than it should sound
In the best timeline my friend, in the best timeline
There won't ever be, because of the music, unless Tremaine goes back to the master tapes and dubs in music he doesn't have to tack a dollar onto each episode for. They used MTV's ASCAP/BMI license to run those originally - re-releasing the episodes would require a new license for every song. The box set would need to be a thousand bucks to make it even worth trying.
Same thing for WKRP in Cincinnati. The DVD set that came out has shitty new generic music, the original TV run had the current hits of the era, big artists. Which is why the RIPs I have from VHS will always be better than the "official" product.
I'm all for paying musicians, but issues with this kind of bullshit deep sixes material pretty fucking often.
And now it's going to kill the internet in the EU.
>johnny knoxville Joker
this is a pretty interesting idea desu. he could even do his own stunts
>Knoxville was the only one not terrified of the riot control mine.
youtu.be
What's he wearing?
an Anchovy suit
The music was replaced on the DVDs. Stuff like Broken Face by Pixies and Teenage Kicks by The Undertones, tracks that just made those segments, are all gone.
A squid suit
personally i liked the riot control balls thing
They visited the cannibals that tried to eat a cnn reporter.
Well, most of them not named Tremaine, Knoxville or Steve-O could probably use the cash, as they haven't done shit since the last movie.
Why this fat fuck hasn't gone on My Six Hundred Pound Life to restart his career is beyond me.
Oh, wait, because it's pointless as his only talent is being fat.
The Elvis playing really brings this one together.
youtu.be
There must be more stuff left out than in it, though. Betting some of it, they can't find the original tapes, so they can't redub them.
Jackass 3D felt a little stale to me. It was obvious that they were getting old, and were too sober for it. I mean I still respect it, and it's still fun but it isn't the same.
Number Two is the peak, but I'd say everything before that is pure kino as well, the tv shows, the specials and everything. It was a weirdly wholesome show because they were all good friends, that's why the knock-offs always failed because they were just assholes, but in Jackass you could tell they had fun together.
I also really want the original show in better quality, it is astounding how terrible what is out there looks. Not to mention the official DVDs released after the fact don't include all the material from the MTV show due to rights issues.
>Arkansas steamer bean
Jackass is still shown regularly on Comedy Central in the UK. If I had the technical know how I would do proper rips.
I still watch 1, 2, 3 and the Gumball Rally special every few years.
holy kek
nah 2 was shit.
Yeah there was a reason Knoxville got all the money. Obviously the brains, and he just found sub 100 IQ drug addicts to film getting hurt.
He was the captain.
Proud Captain
>Bam saying he'll frenchkiss Knoxville if he does something Bam knows he'll do
I always knew Bam secretly took it up the ass.
>dude injuring genitals lmao
They've attempted that with the dudesons and nitro circus and both shows flopped hard.
Post your favorite stunt
The fucking marbles were such a perfect icing on top
God I watch this like twice a week and Bam getting floored still makes me crack up
>the way his burrito flies straight into the trash
Bam was literally "that kid"
>"hey dudesh watch thish crazy shit I'm about to do"
>gets knocked on his ass, on the verge of tears
Number Two. I think the other two movies are pretty much as good, but Number Two is borderline perfect.
it's funny that even among the team of trained druggie retards that knoxville assembled bam managed to be the most pathetic
wildboyz
eat the lugenpresse
If I ever have a bad day I just watch this. Pure comedy kino. I also really like the bit out of 3.5 with the train horn.
youtube.com
>not trusting johnny with the horn trigger
>that big brother/little sister dynamic with qt indian priya
>knoxville getting spooked by his own prank at the end
It's got so many elements going for it
The issue isn't with musicians, its with short sighted tv producers.
MTV let people use all sorts of songs on TV, but did not think ahead about securing the rights for syndication or home video releases.
The musicians are following the contract set by the producers when they initially made the deal.
thx :)
what a feel good thread, many good memories and genuine smiles watching jackass stuff
Oh god why do I remember this line
