Most of Friends are terrible people really. They're selfish, immature, and just plain stupid. The psychologist from season 1 laid it out for them that their whole friendship is a result of their inability to function on their own without constant approved validation. And instead of trying to confront those fact they just drove him away, because he was disrupting their feelings.

I'm watching this for the first time on Netflix, and I already miss the first seasons. They felt more comfy than the latter ones despite me not growing up with it.

I got an apartment in the city with my best friend when we were in our mid-20's. Turned out he was an awful roommate (complete slob, never cleaned, never bought anything, lived on unemployment the entire time, had his gf stay with him for weeks at a time for free, etc.). The whole experience was extremely overrated. You really should work on moving out of your folks place, though. Even if it puts you in the red for a little bit, living independently does wonders for your confidence and mental health and you'll be a more improved person in the long run.

I liked the whole story about her, and I was quite mad that the romance that was set up to be so significant that it put Chandler and Joey's friendship on the line ended up so abruptly over complete nothing. I'm guessing at the time they came up with the story for London and needed to clear the coast really quick.
