Why haven't they announced Captain Marvel 2?
It made over $1 billion so the sequel is pretty much confirmed so why a hasn't it been anounced yet?
Are they waiting for endgame? But even if a sequel is anounced it doesn't mean that she will survive endgame (she will) so it doesn't spoil anything.What are some legit reasons for this?

No, people like the Marvel storyline, as mediocre as it is. People invested money in this because they thought it was important for Endgame, not because the character looked interesting.
The follow up to Alice in wonderland (billion dollar movie) was a flop.
Disney isn't stupid. They know they screwed on her movie so they need to get people interested in her for a sequel first

I see your point but still, I can't see how they could think they screwed up when the movie made over $1 billion. I'm not even talking about her chesmitry with endgame's cast, their fakefights and fakequarrels during interviews, she's bound to succeed.
Yes and the sequel should be right after endgame so us fans have something to help us transition into the new marvel era.
