Someone give me a basic gestalt on tonight's episode

I haven't watched it yet. Is it better or worse than last week's?

it's just the same shit, it could be done in the last 3 minutes of the first.

worse

Bruh what the fuck happened to the pacing and writing this season. Was it really that hard to just do 10 fucking episodes

Basically just two episodes of filler garbage meant to sow together any potential plotholes there could have been

and this is coming from someone who unironically likes nu-GoT

First half is the usual feminist shit, men getting chastised by muh powerful womyn for speaking out of line etcetera, second half is characters bumping into each other and reminding the audience about scenes from 5 seasons ago

pulling together 20 or so characters into the same place and building up hype for episode 3. Wrapping up most story arcs, teasing a few new ones to continue through the remainder of the season.

Nothing important happened.
Jon told Dany about his parents, Sam gave Heartsbane to Jorah, Arya and Gendry fucked.
These are the only things that are remotely noteworthy.
Other than that it was just characters sitting around "Remember when we were enemies? We are no longer enemies now because the dead are coming."

I still liked season 6. But season 7,8 have been trash so far.

Same lol I was cool with every season (even 5) and even I noticed how shit episode quality became this season

Reminder that redditors actually liked and are jerking off to the arya/gendry scene

Danerys dies, the writing of these two episodes makes it so fucking obvious and we all know they will lose the attack in ep3

They will lose, retreat south to Cersei who will then defeat them and be forced to defend against white walkers, where Cersei will be forced to release her captives right before she kills them

Their writing basically follows this logic:
>denial of success means character will succeed
>saying they will succeed means they will not
Daenerys is too arrogant about her course of action, she's dead so Jon can sit on the iron throne

It's 50/50 on Jaime and Tyrion's death next episode, one of them is definitely gone so they can be warden of the west
I am leaning on Tyrion since he has no arc left and would be the most hard hitting option

Tormund is dead and will sacrifice himself for Brienne

part 1 of 8
the episode opens with the walkers on a bluff looking down on winterfell. the night king motions to begin the attack, one of the walkers screeches, points his spear and the dead pour down the hill. ser brienne's men shit their drawers as a wall of dead come barreling down. podrick goes into full jedi mode and looks like he's kicking ass, bones are flying everywhere. ser brienne looks at him approvingly, he looks back at her with a smile and an ice spear shoots out of his mouth. podrick falls like a bag of shit. the dead completely overwhelm the first lines of defense.

no based nk, don't bother

And then she said.. 'someone taller' hahaha

this kills the Yea Forums

The dialoge the past two episodes has been completely ass except for Bran and Sam.

Which is insane since I hated the fuck out of both of them until this season.

>implying I don't want to be snoo-snooed
