fuck off, the bad board is this way:
>reddit: the last gender bender
no
> posting anime knockoffs
> instead of the actual 1940s cartoons than directly influenced weebshit
Yes?
But other than Gargoyles what competition is there?
I remember book 2 being quite shit. Especially with the Where’s Appa arc
The question is is it the best western TV show period
I'd give this title to Over the Garden Wall
Season 2 is literally the best one. The entire section where Apa is gone through Lake Laogai is probably the best string of episodes in the show. Can’t tell if bait or retard
Is Korra the hottest character in the history of western TV animation?
yes.
>muh whimsical Cartoon Network fable
Is there a more reddit show to exist?
>Liked ATLA as a kid, not phenomenal but a consistent story that was interesting even with later shipping bullshit and the whole themes falling apart in Fire
>Korra
>1: Ok I guess, they have time to fix it
>2: Alright...?
>3: What are you doing?
>4:
1940s cartoons aren't the greatest just because they influenced modern day American animation.
>yea I liked Raging Bull as a kid, not amazing, decent movie but themes fall apart at the end
You’re middle of the road contrarianism impresses no one.
I'd say most of Oliver Postgate's stuff was better
Does anyone seethingly hate Raging Bull?
Does anyone seethingly hate avatar?
>Everything I don't like is reddit
As if Atla isn't beloved by reddit aswell you sperg.
Yes, yes it is.
That wasn't tv.
>impressing
wow damn i tried hard on that thanks for pointing it out user. if you havent watched avatar, you have like ten episodes about how aang has to come to terms with what it means to be the avatar over just a magician/kid and it just boggles down to magic turtle giving him a way to fix everything without too much critical thinking over beat enemy and strip him of his tools, sabotaging the whole theme of growth he had going with each arc. something that is kept with korra as well.
several animes at least manage to get through the end without shitting the bed that hard.
>still bitching about the Lion Turtle 11 years later
Beloved by reddit and being reddit are not the same thing. OTGW is adventure time fable with cringe symbolism and a “deep” story that’s really just wacky bullshit for kids sold to the typical reddit user as something they “get” on a deeper lever. Avatar is just an amazingly well written epic that’s no more reddit than lord of the rings.
The lion turtle is more a flaw to the story or themes than the fucking eagles are to lord of the rings. Yes, it’s a bit last second, but you completely ignore what the turtle actually does for anng. It didn’t say hey here’s the power to take someone’s bending away, it said
>The true mind can weather all the lies and illusions without being lost. The true heart can tough the poison of hatred without being harmed. Since beginning-less time, darkness thrives in the void, but always yields to purifying light
It’s the culmination of Aangs arc that he is able to confront the void in Ozai and purify him (take his bending away) by being true of mind and heart and not succumbing to the ease of moral corruption and doing what he knew was wrong. This moment is built to with a satisfying and well built arc and doesn’t just come out of nowhere like you nobrain turtle complainers always imply. If you want to view it on the most base and two dimensional level sure you can say “bu bu but he just takes his splodey powers away and that’s it? Turtle ex machina lmao”. It’s in this same moment aang masters the avatar state as well, and he did it on his terms, true to mind and heart.
It's okay but people vastly overrate the series. But I can't think of any other Western animated series that's not entirely comedy so maybe
>create the best female character of all time
>do nothing with her so a bitch-ass Mary Sue can snatch a hollow victory from the deuteragonist
>Avatar has this "deep" hinduistic symbolysm and balance on the universe and the protag ist not only the last of it's kind but also has like resposiblities
I can also write like a fag, so what?
Great setting but terrible execution and plot. I nominate BTAS
I don’t have to shift through your shit English to know you’re missing the point that Avatar is an amazingly detailed and well written epic with complex characters dealing with war, family, betrayal, honor, friendship, love, hate, spirituality, duty, and everything that comes with, where as OTGW is a quirky whimsical fable with adventure time le random XD humor that indiscriminately forces metaphors and symbolism about death to have a purgatory reveal. ITS SO FUCKING DEEP.
Have fuck and suck
>bad opinion I can’t and won’t explain
>nominate capeshit
Didn’t expect any less
I guess, when I watched the first season I thought it was pretty fuckin boring.
What sets Avatar apart from other mindless mass produced entertainment for kids aside from a nice scene here and there?
The first season sucks until the finale. The show drastically picks up in quality in season 2, both in humor and dramatics.
Mako's acting and the fact that it had a plot.
>clean 3 seasons with no plans for sequel or continuation
>bu bu but muh Korra
>later unrelated cashgrabs don’t count faggot
>complex characters making tough decisions and dealing with overwhelming emotional, familial, and spiritual pressure.
>well written characters for the above reason but also incredibly distinct voices, thought processes, humor, actions
>manages to make a “take over the world” bad guy feel actually grounded in the established reality and seem like someone that would actually exist given the opportunity to abuse such immense power instead of a mustache twirling villain
>katara
>addresses actual philosophical and spiritual ideas and themes with respect and intelligence while still being accessible to kids
>about war and violence and manages to be one of the most wholesome shows ever made without being overbearing (except for some of the first season)
>genius playing of a character bound by spiritual destiny and a character burdened by false worldly destiny against each other, comparing contrasting and connecting them. The Jesus and the man dynamic.
>iroh
>incredible animation and fight scenes
>amazing music
>creative and detailed but simple and easy to understand world
>episodes that follow no single structure and could end up being about anything at any time
>can make you laugh, cry, smile, and is overall the most comfy show ever made
So slightly above capeshit, okay
Capeshit, no matter how “complex” the best ones get, will always be serialized trashed designed explicitly for repetition, recognizability, branding and thematic loose ends. It will never come within a country mile of a completed and well achieved work of original fiction.
There has never been a cape show with a plot. Not one.
>the fact that it had a plot.
This is a bottom of the barrel reason. Plenty of animes have plots at least as complex as Avatar, but even this not withstanding, Avatar's plot is really mostly an excuse for the character to go on various adventures than it is anything well planned. Aang never takes his duties seriously much, despite the fact that he knows he is actually in part responsible for the world being in the state it is.
>If you want to view it on the most base and two dimensional level
But, using this plot point as an example, it IS base and two dimensional. To you it might seem like "a satisfying and well built arc", but there is no substance behind it and the writers could have clearly come up with any given 'authentic enough' sounding excuse as to why Aang gets to continue being the same frivolous pacifist layabout he remains throughout the series and is never forced to actually confront the possibility that he might, due in part to his past actions, need to take a life in order to be responsible. It doesn't matter how long a series spends 'building up' something that is fundamentally an excuse to avoid properly dealing with a specific theme, it remains an excuse.
>being true of mind and heart
>not succumbing to the ease of moral corruption
>doing what he knew was wrong
This really only goes to show the simplicity of your own thought processes, and not that Avatar actually demonstrated anything about 'what was right'. If anything it's cartoon morality seems to have rubbed off on you badly.
Anime has plots, yes, western tv almost never, western animation? This is the only example.
They pull the same bullshit cop-out in Zuko's story as Aang's with Katara jumping in to irrelevantize the dramatic action from being resolved. Ultimately, the producers were lazy cunts who wanted their characters to avoid having any moral complexity.
It's still a kids show. Just like in mainstream capeshit aside from Snyder's movies, moral ambiguity is still a no-no
any other western animated shows with a constructed world with multiple factions and a hero's journey?
The Venture Bros minus the hero's journey
No, this really is the only example I know of; I think possibly that show The Dragon Prince but I haven't seen it yet.
>any other western animated shows with a constructed world with multiple factions and a hero's journey?
The second season of The Dragon Prince. Season one is lame as all fuck in terms of story and moral complexity, but the second season completely ellipses that and ends up surpassing anything Avatar did plot wise.
i found e;r
FPBP
Avatar is top-tier, but part of me wants to give that award to Samurai Jack, but I DID just get done rewatching that for the umpteenth time. While Avatar undoubtedly has better characters and stronger writing, Samurai Jack is a masterclass in visual storytelling, variety, and use of atmosphere, and all of the benefits of animation.
When I was younger, Avatar was my favorite cartoon by a mile, but as I've gotten older, Samurai Jack and Sym-Bionic Titan (both by Tartakovsky) have edged it out. While the story being told might not be as rich or deep as what Avatar is toying with, Tartakovsky's methods of storytelling are fucking amazing, and put just about any American television shows to shame, animated or otherwise.
Dragon Prince is a big disappointment. You can really feel that they're trying to recapture the magic of Avatar after faltering with Legend of Korra's different tone, but they absolutely have no idea how to do it. As illogical and confused as Avatar sometimes was about its own morality, Dragon Prince is worse, tenfold, and their sense of humor has aged so poorly that the show comes of as one of the many derivatives that tries to copy Avatar's success, but failed, despite actually being made by the same directors and producers. And while I don't have an issue with equality and representation in my shows, Dragon Prince often puts the pandering on such a pedestal that it's distracting
You're an absolute idiot if you think this. Season 2 of Dragon Prince was forgettable schlock with a twisted moral compass that completely destroys all sense of conflict if you literally think about it for 5 seconds. They're trying so hard to create something meaningful that they're forgoing basic logic. It feels like this show needed just some regular dude sitting in on the brainstorming sessions to go "WAIT A SECOND, THAT'S RETARDED" every time they came up with something that was retarded.
Yes with "The Crossroads of Destiny" being absolute kino
I really like the Avatar universe but when I watched it I was reminded of how much more it could have been. They had to pull the show waaaay back because of that TV-Y7 rating. Imagine full fledged bending battles with actual consequence. and more bloodbending
Literal circumslave trash
>he doesnt know about Tom and Jerry
Avatar is overrated because people came into it from plotless cartoon shows, and even today have very little to compare it against. You can see the same thing going in anime where people rate some battle shounen or toonami show sky high without having ever seen anything else for comparison.
Watched Avatar The Last Air Bender for the first time when I was 32 and I liked it.
I watched Neon Genesis Evangelion for the first time when I was 34 and I loved it even more.
Should I kill myself?
Most fans don't shy away from pointing out Avatar's weaknesses but it still rates above most other things out there.
How could you compare NGE to ...Avatar? LOL
Just give in. Animation gives more freedom to the creator to make whatever the fuck they want without having to worry about expensive cgi looking fake. Everything is art.
There was shittons of bloodbending in Korra, none of it particularly interesting. Sword of the Stranger is the best example of what the show could have been, since its animation is almost identical.
What in Korra is almost identical to a Yutaka Nakamura scene?
This, I tired watching NGE after Avatar to fill the void, but it was a huge disappointment.
Overrated, maybe, but that doesn't keep it from being one of the best. I mean, go ahead and name something better. Like you said, there's really not much.
You're implying Avatar the last Airbender is even in the same league as Neon Genesis Evangelion? One is a work of art, the other is an ameritrash D&D campaign done through computer animation and Korean forced labor.
King of the Hill
Aqua Teen Hunger Force
Fuck it, probably Scooby Doo is even better lol
Well that's just the thing. It wins by default because it has no competition. If shows like Avatar were made all the time, then it might not be considered as great anymore.
No, I'm implying Avatar is much, much better. It's not even close to the same league. Avatar is a 9/10 show, while NGE is 6/10 at best and Cowboy Bebop is even worse.
(i) She wasn't short changed
(ii) I have no serious expectation of being believed but the one I really liked was Ming-Hua in "book" 3
Gotta agree. Most weebtrash is pretty bad and the people who fanboy over them are just as much up their own ass about what's """""art""""" or not.
>ameritrash D&D campaign done through computer animation and Korean forced labor.
You meant
Circumcision, not even once
Imagine being this much of an ameritard and refusing to accept the inferior status of your animation industry.
It wasn't computer animated though, and the studio (I forget the name) is an elite one that typically assists on anime productions.
LOL do you know anything about animation? You think Avatar was hand drawn? Open your eyes
A fucking live action film. Idk why people would brag about cartoons on a film and television board when Yea Forums exists.
So you must be a circumcised american to like something made in America?
This is a matter of taste. Americans have no taste or foreskin.
Yes, it was hand-drawn.
No
O B S E S S E D
Avatar will never be overrated as long as fucking Rick and Morty is higher on the top 250 tv list.
Maybe we should let you faggots get back to your endless capeshit and sneedposting threads. Sorry for shitting up your board with actual, meaningful discussion about a television show.
Yes
Avatar mimics anime and airbender's head arrow tattoo is a rip-off from Battle Angel: Alita manga.
On a computer. Aka digital animation
The only people hand drawing every frame these days are Ghibli and more avant garde stuff in Japan. Maybe squidbillies was hand drawn lol. What century do you think this is?
The fact that Zuko didn't get to finally dominate this crazy little bitch was a travesty.
This.
Compared to other western productions Avatar is an oasis of good taste.
>That brief moment in Roku's flashback when his dragon swoops in to wrap around him as they get covered in lava and die
That hit me so hard
Anime is still drawn predominantly on paper. It's everything after that that's handled digitally, with the occasional exception of background art. Avatar was also produced in 2005-2008.
Close, but no
True. Especially on Nickelodeon of all places. I haven't watched it in forever but I think that network has gone to shit.
...
What was her problem?
She had it all, beauty, superior intellect, power, influence.
Everything.
Yet she was so sad and broken inside.
Was Azula an involuntary virgin?
It's worse than that
>western
>animated in korea
Lmao
Drawn by hand, composited and rendered on computer. It's the same basic process as 2-D animation has always been, only the inking and coloring is done digitally, and there's no cels or camera required to get to the final print, since it can just be rendered directly. The base linework is still done by hand you absolute fucking mong.
>The only people hand drawing every frame these days are Ghibli and more avant garde stuff in Japan
Ghibli has been using digital ink and paint for decades, you retard. The exact same process as most American 2-D animation.
It's drawn on Photoshop. Look at it. Durr
This was really great when it focused on the story, but 75% of it was mystery of the week and it ended one season too early.
yeah, the hack stopped the show too early because he couldn't stand making more comfy stuff without shoving his progressive trans gay shit in
>it's rendered digitally
>this is what hand drawn means
Durrr
She was raised to be a tyrant, cruel and merciless. She ruled through fear alone and in the end she had no one left afraid of her so she had nothing. I felt so sad for her when she was chained up and sobbing, girl was 14
Inking was actually already phased out in the 1970s, at least in Japan.
Reminder of Nickelodeon's other offerings
The show lasting 2 seasons to represent 2 months of summer was great, and ending it there to cement the point is even better. Of course you want an extra month of your childhood summer vacation
>Grown men are having a serious discussion about a children’s cartoon.
Are you just blinded by nostalgia or do you really think the show is that good?
I don't like it.
It's monstrous and hideous.
At least Avatar and many anime put effort to make people look beautiful, realistic and capture a big range of human emotions.
Modern "western" (more like desert merchant influenced) animation is trash.
No, Asami was hotter
I've met people who thought it was actually good. They were circumcised american reddit faggots.
Not even close.
No, the original Avatar, the animation is very similar to Sword of the Stranger.
I liked it because it reminded of star wars, it had many similarities in story telling and framing.
I've seen some fight scenes from Avatar and I don't know how they're supposed to look like Sword of the Stranger.
No, the problem is that they ended it just when it started getting interesting.
Good post
>Ty Lee will never Chi block you repeatedly and rape you through the night
A completely subjective opinion that I respect, user, but
>it's not realistic
is just a non-argument when it comes to animation appreciation
Nö
For me, it's Suki.
Sokka was banging prime pussy.
Katara was best girl
Still the best and you know it.
He still “beat” the fire lord. They could have just captured him and kept him in an ice cooler. The turtle thing is just there to visually represent aangs internal success of being pure in mind and heart. The fact that they presented the moral dilemma at all is a testimony to the shows complexity. If you think that the show betrays reality by saying pure heart and mind can overcome darkness instead of accepting you must become the darkness to stop it then you are lost.
>Suki
>Yue
>Ty Lee
>Toph
All 10/10 girls Sokka banged or could have. How can one man be so based?
Expert boomerang skills
Katara was an annoying twat who somehow became the most powerful waterbender offscreen just so she could ruin a more interesting character's story arc. All because they had nothing else for her to do. What a shit character.
Fire nation dress code was lightyears ahead of every other nation
She’s literally the best character in the show and all the best episodes are the ones that focus on her
Fucking Katara.
Azula was a female incel.
They gave toph the best butt
Damn, she looks good for 300+ years old
It was really silly how she went from novice to master after a week or so at the north pole, but other than that she's a really good character. A better "strong female" than Hollywood will ever give us.
The supreme firebender
No, Alex, ripping off Simpsons gags doesn't make you great even though Gravity Falls is a very good show.
So can we agree realistically earth bending is the strongest and they would rule the world? No one else can have stone fortifications and getting peppered with rock splinters or having jagged rock spears impaling your torso from anywhere on the ground seems awfully demoralizing for troops
That’s what’s silly? Not the fact that sokka became a master swordsman in literally a single day?
>The finale week in August '08, ending one of my last childhood summers
Only shitty part was that the actual finale aired during dinner time and my parents were pissed as I attempted to explain how invested I was into this show and that I didn't give a fuck about dinner.
Best girl
>Surprised chads can master things in a day
That is not Avatar Kyoshi.
I like how she went from a cute 8/10 to a sexy 10/10 once she got the fire nation outfit.
Personally I prefer blood bending.
Just imagine the possibilities.
>ywn have sex with a powerful blood bender qt3.14 like katara who is crazy in love with you and submissive
Aang, you sly dog.
>Surprised 10/10 waifu can be good at something in a week
>tfw no 7 foot avatar gf
>imagine... semen bending
It doesn't work because this avenue only arrives at the 11th hour to solve Aang's problems that he refused to contemplate seriously beforehand. It's cheap and shitty and even the writers admitted it.
Her personality took a huge dip in season 3 so is less attractive as a whole.
Best girl all around is Suki.
Okay, Katara.
How can so many people be so wrong?
Mutt, Mutter and The Muttest
so basically yeah!
Can't we just agree that these shows had a shitload of top tier waifus? You're not really wrong no matter who you choose.
Why does Katara make fun of Sokka's ponytail when 75% of the male population in Avatar have some kind of bun/ponytail? Or a warrior's wolf tail for the distinguished water tribesman
I'd give my life to get gentle femdom'd by Kuvira just once
Damn Ty Lee is really packing some milkers isn't she
>acknowledging that legend of korra exists
I'm out
Original Robotech series is best
>I couldn't miss my own daughters coronation
Fugg
That was a combination of three anime series.
They admitted they didn’t have enough time to build it up, not that it was a bad idea. The show is filled with rushed plots because it’s an animated show with a set slate of 60 20 minute episodes. It’s few minor flaws are forgivable.
>all waifus are best
>Ty Lee in caps in the center
I don't know about my life, but I would definitely buy her some nice stuff.
>she can literally milk your dick from the inside and give you a never ending orgasm
>katara will literally suck you dry
No, all waifus are great, but Ty Lee is the best.
They are all good choices but Azula is the best and Iroh would have my back on this.
>She could gently bloodbend pressure on your prostate at any time
Only on a full moon
Sneed
Damn any better shots? Didn’t realize toph had such a perky booty
Sounds like a good monthly ritual to keep a marriage healthy
I prefer uncorrupted Azula desu.
It’s such a small thing I’m sure she doesn’t need moon power to do it
>Aang on the right kek
Why do boys always make best girls?
This is not Aang. It's a woman actress who was portraying Aang in a theatre.
Is Kya the hottest granny in animation?
book two was the best desu
Batman?
Yeah, she's at least 55, but goddamnit she's fine.
I'm with you, fuck those gookcucks
"Azula do you want to join antifa?"
The Blind Bandit through The Crossroads of Destiny must be the greatest stretch of episodes in anything ever.
hol up
Half of the shows in this thread arent even made in the west! Here's a list of shows worth a damn:
>Adventures of TinTin
>Venture bros
That's it!
A man of taste and quality.
Zuko was better than the main cast and Avatar was at it's best when it focused on him. Katara was awful. Aang was generally decent but he had times where he was bad. Toph was a nice addition. Sokka was the best of the main cast
Azula is the most /fa/ there is.
>Book 1
>Aang masters waterbending moves instantly.
>They finally reach the north pole
>Supposedly Aang didn't master waterbending but Katara somehow did
I have a feeling she was the creator's pet.
>Only one other mention of Gargoyles
I am fucking disapointed in you all.
Last season was shite though
I honestly never thought much of Gargoyles when I was watching it. I didn't even think it was as good as Reboot or the Aladdin cartoon.
considering how ass katara was at waterbending and in 1 episode shes god tier
yeah she definetly was
For me it's uncle Iroh. The relationship between him and Zuko was amazing, and his taste in tea was patrician tier.
I think the last season wasn't even originally planned and only added cause Disney wanted another season?
its probably the greatest animated work of all time
>Leaves from the vine...
it's objectively one of the best TV shows of all time in terms of longrunning plot development, worldbuilding and characterization.
If we pretend Japan doesn't exist.
Zuko Alone was nice
Where did Zuko learn how to fight with those swords?
I assume he was taught while in exile, he used them in the blue spirit episode in book 1
Retard. Appa's lost days were important for Aang's development, solidifying his views towards the nature of men, not just the fire nation.
Based opinion
General Iroh: see you after the battle. You're loyal son, Lu Ten
Nah, it was picked up by another channel, which replaced most of the original creators
Why are Annofags such arrogant niggers?
How the fuck did Sokka bang all those chicks like wtf?
Women like winners, Halligan
Sokka was clever, funny and more importantly, confident. In reality, he'd need to be a lot more muscular to pull all of those girls, but considering the fact that he was ~16, I'd say he was doing well for himself
weeb out
Where did I say anything to suggest that I'm a weeb?
I'm positive! This guy has acquired abilities of the Dark Avatar WITH THE HELP OF KYOSHI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No
Nice list of films you fucking brainlet, notice how I said "tv animation"
Maybe learn to read and quit sucking cock whilst posting.
Wrong.
Well he still is a prince so he was probably instructed ever since he could be
And even then it only goes to show how gimmicky most films animation is. Half of those aren't even that good, and at the same time it lacks solid stuff like The Incredibles or Toy Story 1/2. It's basically a list for hipsters that relies on you not having seen most of it.
There's plenty tv animation better than Avatar, though.
Your criticism certainly relies on you not seeing any of those.
I do
Would you toph or katara
Besides people that hate things due to their popularity
youtube.com
If you don't think this part was top fucking kino you need to have sex
>Aang and katara’s daughter is a dyke
>That leaves of the vine song
>"Little soldier boy, come marching home"
I cry every damn time
Why not both?
Book 2 was my favorite
go on
Bump
Bumi
What did nickelodeon mean by this???
You only need to show no interest whatsoever in a girl and she'll fall in love with you
It's okay to cuck firebenders.
Aang should have gone back and fucked this thirsty bitch.
>not Momo
She's like 8 dude chill out.
She was pretty much the same age as Aang.
Real animation is ___3D___
>gap tooth at 12
I fucking hope not.
Absolutely. Season two is possibly the greatest season of television.
this makes my little gay heart so happy :)
Is that a kitchen for midgets or is she tall as fuck?
Superior comic coming through
>Excited for the comics because I still really like Tenzin, Bolin, and Mako.
>It's just lesbian oppression fantasies and Blumph revenge porn
Yes, but her show was absolute shit.
Reminder day of the rope is unnecessary as queers neck themselves for us.
>Monks being ok with hippy faggotry when they preached about leaving away your earthly bonds including love.
I wouldn't say in just western tv animation. I'd say animation in general. I like anime but I can't really think of any anime that have the same pacing as ATLA and can compete in themes, character development, worldbuilding, etc.
I like Mob Psycho's character development a lot so I guess that's closest but the worldbuilding can't compete with ATLA. Berserk is amazing but way too different and the 97 anime ending isn't good. There's still a lot more story that needed to be told (and was told in the manga).
They didn't preach about leaving love, or Aang would've known that. It was when he was training under Guru Patek in order to gain mastery over the Avatar state, that he had to let go.
Batman TAS is several tiers higher than any other western show I can think off. The production values, music and art direction was off the charts.
*to the tune of we built this city*
we poopy shitty!!
we poopy shitty big fart butt hole
Who /mai/ here?
What about laheema? Wasn't he one of the most enlightened monks, and wasn't the whole point of the avatar being the bond between humans and spirits the reason aang shouldn't have tried what patik told him to do?
I'm mad we never knew who was the mother of zuko's daughter. Or did they finally reveal it in the comics?
Monasticism
Look up the word, it's history, and be educated. Also watch what the airnomad avatar before Ang said about their way of life and the conflict of priorities between the Avatar and the way of the monks
Only one
>when the characters are so off fucking model I cant even tell who all of them are
That whore on the left suki? At least Tophs eyes are grey fuck sake.
What a qt.
Zukos character was probably the best i have seen. Thats my opinion. I still remember that mountain scene and the music. The OST of avatar was so good.
They did reveal it and more story with azula. Only comics tho. I wish they would have animated them too. Very long and good story many fans or people who watched the show didnt see.
What the actual fuck did the Fire Nation do wrong? They seem to just be a nation expanding.
the finale was incredibly disappointing. way to end a great show on such a low note
>what even is genocide?
>The monks that seperated by sex were hedonistic faggots
Toph. The combination of her latent inward helplessness due to her blindness and her outward bad-bitch exterior is extremely arousing. She's like a sexy crab: tough as nails on the outside, but soft, delicious, and likely great with melted butter on the inside.
>i prefer the 12 year old to the 14 year old
What does it matter when they are both underaged anyway? I lose either way. May as well be honest.
Well, the Earth Kingdom is by far the largest one. All the other nations were basically relegated to a series of Islands outside the main continent, which makes sense as the Earth benders would lose their advantage if the tried a naval invasion. The Fire Nation only got so strong in the show because they were the first to have an industrial revolution
>oh no officer you see, I was just being honest. It was a lose lose either way so it's ok!
Because she's a bitch.
I long for those halcyon days when this would have been considered low-effort bait
On Ji was the actual cutest character.
Even as a kid I remember noticing how poor the animation looked on Avatar, which only instilled even further the notion of it being bootleg anime apart from it being an American product. The framerrate was extremely choppy.
>waifu
waifu in western shows.
FUCKING KILL YOURSELF FAGGOT
When I was a kid I masturbated exclusively to toph. I was obsessed like my first crush. I masturbated so much I broke skin which is when I stopped and to this day I avoid busting nuts to the minx.
Get a load of this guy.
Wise man
>still vastly inferior in every way to even the worst Anime shows
Weeb cope, I see.
This girl would have probably made a better gf and wife than Katara. Aang missed out.
my daddy taught me a few things, like how not to break the skin by using someone else's mouth
Avatar is PURE kino and the greatest show in western animation, anyone who says otherwise is 100% a contrarian faggot
>aang's reincarnation is a dyke
