Generally it was pretty good BUT:
If you are familiar with the GoT universe you already know that House Forrester is fucked. They are Stark loyalists after the Red Wedding which means they are on the losing side. They are far too weak to defend themselves in the long run so in the end they do get crushed because their enemies are backed by the Boltons and the Crown.
Also that whole Northern Grove storyline is completely meaningless because you can't really help your family if your sit in a frozen cave beyond the Wall while the dead are coming south. House Forrester was doomed from the first minute of the game and it was obvious.
Interacting with show/book characters was fun though.

I was looking forward to ripping this to shreds like I have for the past few seasons but these first two episodes have actually been kino.

I’m pretty sure it will fall apart in the final 4 episodes with retarded decisions and terrible, dragged out battle scenes, but these first two episodes have been great.

Atmospheric, character-driven and evocative. Some of the best “setting of the scene” I’ve ever seen.
