No. All the soicucks and feminazis who inexplicably love princess movies will pay for it. I doubt it will compete with netflix but I'm sure it will turn a profit.

It’s not DOA.

>5.99
>Disney’s content catalogue

Sois will subscribe ad infinitum for the newest Marvel and Star wars.

I just canceled Hulu the other day. Their library gets worse and worse all the time like what happened with Netflix.

must be nice being delusional

disney is putting all fox related content on hulu thats R rated

I'll be getting it:)

hunh?
i think they are making a mistake though.
disney+ is just every g and pg thing disney/blu sky/nat geo has made with pg13 star wars and marvel added on top of it.
and hulu is everything thats an "edgy" pg like futurama but everything other than marvel and star wars thats pg13+.
the whole point of buying fox was to get shit for streaming content but they're using it for hulu instead of disney+. doesnt make much sense since fox was a partner at hulu anyway.

deadline.com/2019/04/disney-plus-programs-movies-full-list-marvel-star-wars-pixar-simpsons-streaming-service-1202594496/

they'll release content in a slow trickle so people stay subscribed, hoping they add Cinderella 4: Dickcheese Grand Prix or whatever the fuck

What will happen to blue sky bros. I'm worried

It has ALL THE SIMPSONS

No. Disney is the master at forcing unnecessary sequels to good movies that don't warrant them and then retards lap it up

Same thing thats happened to Pixar and Disney animated shit.

This:

The Mandalorian
>The first ever live-action Star Wars series, is written and executive-produced by Emmy®-nominated producer and actor Jon Favreau, with Dave Filoni (“Star Wars: The Clone Wars”) directing the first episode. The highly anticipated series features an all-star cast including Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Omid Abtahi, Werner Herzog and Nick Nolte. Set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order, the series follows a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic. Timing: Available at launch

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier
>Anthony Mackie will return as Falcon and Sebastian Stan will reprise his role as Winter Soldier in the new Marvel Studios series. Timing: Year One

Loki
>Tom Hiddleston will reprise his role as Loki in the new Marvel Studios series. Timing: Year Two

Untitled Cassian Andor Series
>Diego Luna will reprise his role of rebel spy Cassian Andor in this series set during the formative years of the Rebellion prior to the events of “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.” The rousing spy thriller will explore tales filled with espionage and daring missions to restore hope to a galaxy in the grip of a ruthless Empire. Alan Tudyk will also reprise his role as K-2SO with Stephen Schiff (“The Americans”) as showrunner and executive producer. Timing: Year Two

No but it's not appealing to me. Disney's library looks big but I think the novelty would wear of fast. Like eating nothing but sugar. Now that's just me. It will do really well with women and kids

WandaVision
>Elizabeth Olsen will return as Wanda Maximoff and Paul Bettany will reprise his role as The Vision in the new Marvel Studios series. Timing: Year Two

Star Wars: The Clone Wars
>The Emmy® award-winning animated series will be returning with twelve all-new episodes exclusively on Disney+. This will mark the return of classic characters Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Padmé Amidala, as well as fan-favorites Ahsoka Tano and Captain Rex. Timing: Year One

Marvel’s What If…?
>Marvel Studios’ first animated series, taking inspiration from the comic books of the same name. Each episode will explore a pivotal moment from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and turn it on its head, leading the audience into uncharted territory. Timing: Year One

The World According to Jeff Goldblum
>Through the prism of Jeff Goldblum’s always inquisitive and highly entertaining mind, nothing is as it seems in this new series. Each episode is centered around something we all love – like sneakers or ice cream – as Jeff pulls the thread on these deceptively familiar objects and unravels a wonderful world of astonishing connections, fascinating science and history, amazing people, and a whole lot of surprising big ideas and insights. Timing: Available at launch

Marvel’s 616
>An anthological documentary series from Marvel New Media in partnership with Supper Club that explores the intersection between Marvel’s rich legacy of stories, characters and creators and the world outside your window. Each documentary will dive into the rich historical, cultural and societal context that has become inseparable from stories of the Marvel Universe. Timing: Year One

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier
>Anthony Mackie will return as Falcon and Sebastian Stan will reprise his role as Winter Soldier in the new Marvel Studios series. Timing: Year One

This one might actually be okay. I liked their banter in Civil War. It will most likely be shit though because of budgetary restrictions on animating a flying black man and metal armed lunatic

ill be more interested in the old animated shows like gargoyles and darkwing duck i already own most disney movies i want so i dont care about streaming them

What about Song of the South?

The lists are highlights provided by disney to deadline, unknown status for many shows.

No

user hitting hard with the real questions

i know thats why im waitng to see what they will fully offer when it comes out

Every suburban mom is going to subscribe.

>not giving in to our disney overlords

bring this shit up

Oh shit. Think we'll get all the Alien films?

No. Its half the price of netflix and parents will buy it for their kids.

Personally the only thing I care about even remotely is the new clone wars episodes and am actually slightly offended they think literally anyone cares about live action marvel tie ins, but it will do well for sure.

This is the issue. With Disney+ you are guaranteed a sanitized experience. That's fine for some movies and shows, but it severely limits the potential since some things should be R rated. I don't put it past them to offer only edited versions of some things after a while.

>Blue Sky
The fuck kind of contribution do they have to Disney's portfolio besides Ice Age?

>Hulu has agreed to buy AT&T's stake in the streaming service for $1.43 billion, the companies said Monday. With The Walt Disney Co.'s purchase of 21st Century Fox, Disney holds a controlling 60% interest in Hulu. ... Comcast owns the remaining 30% stake in Hulu.

Disney's killing Hulu once they get 100%

>Andi Mack (Seasons 1-3)

So there is no season 4 then lol

That makes no sense at all, are you retarded?

they already said all R-rated content will be on hulu so if they ever do fully own im sure they might rebrand it but they wont kill it

its all R-rated content and all PG-13 content that isnt Star Wars or the MCU, so all the OG Fox Marvel stuff will be on there as well.

they bought fox's entire thousands of films and shows library and are only using a handful of things for disney+

JUST

This is a legit good question

If they had that I might consider a free trial

if you are going for the family market its the right choice hulu is for the adults

Everyone has had ample time to see every episode of the Simpsons ever. Every week.

I highly doubt Warner Bros is going to let go of their percentage, even with the WarnerMedia service

see

Fine I mean Comcasts percentage

Hulu is a loss-making business so killing it in some form makes sense. I don't think Disney can turn it around at this point.
They might try to unify Hulu with Disney+ then rebrand the entire streaming service at some point in the future.

Can't wait to rewatch S11E05 over and over.

just look at the Youtube for kids market. It's huge despite having dubious content

they might if they want to full out and make they own streaming service for NBC shows only and they have shows like sienfield, the big bang theory, and friends all highly sought at for in the streaming market

They're just a stepping stone for Disney to absorb every single animation studio. They've already go their own and they've got Pixar. I guess dreamworks or illumination are next.

Also I always thought Ice Age was dreamworks. I liked those movies as a kid and I thought Blue Sky was a studio that just started out with Ferdinand or something.

Might pick it up when my Hulu subscription runs out, if D+ comes with it. By then they should have somewhat of an original catalogue

Hulu is a weird situation. Disney owns like 60% of it, they have the majority, but not the entirety, so I don't think they can do a complete integration with Disney+. Most likely Disney would decide to just end the Hulu partnership and pull their IP's out. Then either integrate those into Disney+ or if they're insistent on keeping the R rated stuff out, spin those movies into yet a new streaming service so they charge money for that.

>all the companies keep trying to cuck each other
Bros, I think now's the time for Blockbuster to make a comeback. By having the largest amount of content available, it could compete against everyone else.

Nobody is going to actually go to blockbuster to rent movies anymore when they can just do that on fucking youtube for 2 dollars. Unless you're talking about Blockbuster getting into streaming which would be pointless too because then they'd have to start from ground zero getting rights for things again.

>The Incredible Dr. Pol
Hey Dr. Pol, tell us about the Holocaust!

>Nobody is going to actually go to blockbuster to rent movies anymore
It's going to cost less to rent two movies from different companies than it will to buy two different streaming services. Invest now!

It makes more sense for Disney to absorb Hulu than let go of it, making another competitor in the streaming market. Hulu is going to keep losing money for its shareholders unless some decisive steps are taken.

As if the mcu movies weren't bad enough imagine these crap with less budgets and even more filtering

>No Zorro
Oh come on! I was at least hoping they were going to put that in.

Not in your lifetime goy

>S11E05
>SNE05
>SNE50
>SNEE0
>SNEED
it was right in front of our faces the whole time

Right but again I could just rent those movies upfront from my computer rather than go through the hassle of going to an actual store.

Eventually the cost is going to be too much to handle, even for normies.

Renting movies, get the fuck out of here.
