Such kino, use to watch it like everyday when i got home from school. It made you feel like you grew up in a shitty town in the US.

I grew up around an hour away from where the filmed (Preston, Idaho) and it was just as shitty as the movie made it out to be. At PSH's football games they would have uncle Rico banners and stuff.

It kind of made me wish I grew up in a shitty town in the US.

I don't have much to say

I’m assuming you live in Boise? How is it?

People have literally told me to my face I look like Napoleon. I’m a 23 year old virgin. I fucking hate my life, literally I hate every fucking second of being alive. I can not believe I got one chance at life and this is the hand I’ve been dealt.

hey man, people have said I look like pedro

>tfw even though you were an absolute loser just like Napoleon you never had a qt to awkwardly experience teenage love with
GOD FUCKING DAMNIT

Nah, Pocatello.
I like it here. It's small enough to not feel overwhelmed when going out but big enough for amenities to be added here. I'm planning on moving in a few years but it's a great place to raise a family.

The difference is that unlike you Napoleon got the girl in the end.

>that part where he grabs her boob and says he likes it fluffy

it's because you weren't taller than her

It's a funny but depressing movie in a way. No one's life or even the town seemed to be headed anywhere.

I think the idea of the movie is you can find little moments of joy through friendship, even in nowhere USA

I'm 6'1"
it'd probably be easier if I was a manlet. I could blame all my failures on the height
Instead I have this kind of paradox or some shit where I'm a failure because I am failure

I had a glass of water. but it didn't do notheeng

thats not a paradox, its a tautology.

did this film have an actual solid time setting or was it meant to be ambiguous to show how far back in time some small towns in America are?

It clearly takes place in the year it came out, or maybe the year before. 2004-2003

yeah
Summer dances to the backstreet boys near the end of the movie

rural america is like 10 years behind fashion trends, looks like the early 90s or late 80s but is actually the early 2000s

Same, people always assume I have a gf.

>people always assume I have a gf and/or lead a healthy sexual life when I'm a 31 year old wreck
>just go with the flow or simply ignore it because of the sheer absurdity of it
>people seem to think I'm even more of a chad because of this
it honestly baffles me

have sex
