He was good in What’s Eating Gilbert Grape but Leo obviously stole the show, and he was pretty good in Secret Window. I think the problem with Depp is that pretty early on he was sold as a guy who did weird Tim Burton characters really well and he actually doesn’t at all he’s very bad and distracting. He’s better at playing an Everyman/sociopath but he’s not aging well and looks like an aids patient so idk where his career goes from here.

"good acting" isn't something you measure on a scale of 1 to 10, you autist. It's infinitely more about whether you and other people enjoy someone's acting or not. There's no objective way to say who's a good or bad actor when it comes to mainstream films: nobody in these can ever be a truly bad actor, as these don't get into the business at all, no matter how many Jews and family you think are involved. Truly bad acting does not get on the screen if the movie cost money, you can be sure of that.
