Soviet censorship wasn't as bad as Chinese in the way that post Stalin it almost never actually straight up banned things but instead censored them. There was some wiggle room which allowed you to indirectly criticize powers in charge but Soviets and Soviet army always had to be portrayed as the saviors of Europe and not rapists and oppressors that they were.
