Seasons 4+ have decent episodes, though 4 is the weakest overall. 5 starts to get better once Troy leaves (despite him being one of the better parts of the show) and 6 is downright decent idc what any pleb says.

He's got a point, times they've made a song and dance about that, the TV show or game has gone to the dogs. Did it at Bioware with Gaider praising female writers who remove a scene because they found a possessed woman triggering, actual word used by the lead writer as if that is a good thing.

I remember when they hired Megan Ganz and she had a sole writing credit on the bottle episode with the pen and everybody went crazy over how great it was.

Then the rumors started flying about how much of the writing was actually done by Harmon

Then her Season 4 episode sucked

Then she went to work for Modern Family and the episode she wrote for them sucked.

I have the six seasons and watch them about once a year, maybe less. It was pretty bad, but there were moments of it that really talked to me. All that weirdness and bits.

Season six was awful and probably a large part of why it's not fondly remembered overall. Even the lensing and editing is bad. Season 4 is terrible too but only because of the writing.

Community is still the comfiest sitcom but it had such a spiky distribution of quality to shit. Season 3 especially has great and terrible episodes.

Never got far with R&M due it's reddit tier edginess.

The writers basically outsourced scripts to Reddit and rather than stick to their vision focused on giving fans what they wanted (which is never what they actually want).

The decline between Season 2 and 3 was about the same as between 3 and 4. 4 probably gets worse than it deserves because it got roasted at the time for Harmon’s firing.

The ending of Season 3 was fucking ridiculous and not in a good way. It’s a shame they had to keep Ken Jeong around after season 1 because he was in the really successful Hangover movies. He was only funny in the first season.

I've been watching it VERY SLOWLY for the last two years. I am only three episodes from the last episode of Season 3 and I am completely put off by the nonsense.

I swore I'd only watch the first three seasons. At some point this become a rule for me, for shows running longer than that. In two and a half episodes I'll be done. I don't know if it "forgotten." I mean, Joel McHale is forgotten.

Glover’s sheer talent and charisma has him transcend everyone else on the show.

3 is the best season. It has some really shit tier episodes and the Chang child army was dumb but no worse than Shirley's pregnancy in S2. S3 has many of the absolute kino eps. S1 shows its age at times with mid-2000s Scrubs blandness and pop song of the week.
