Okay but how would you have made a better Star Trek show?

no homosexuals or women with men's names

Pike and crew and their adventures on the Enterprise before Kirk.

The Enterprise under Pike with a focus on Spock coming to terms with being half human.

Set it on one of those future Time Ships so they could revisit any era in Trek history and have crazy adventures.

By not making it into Star Wars.

>women with men's names
Are you sure you're not talking about yourself?

Post Voyager show about a Nova class doing research in an unexplored area

But there must always be a Star Wars. And we're clearly not getting it from Disney anymore.

Imagine this with Discoveries budget

cancel it, replace it with a low budget remake of gunsmoke.

Michael Burnham is a man's name

Not have Tilly in it would have been a good start. Also let it be set after Nemesis, so that the updated Tech doesn't seem that out of place.

They solve problems in DIscovery by using tech they shouldn't have yet. Like how the synthesize the suit in under an hour. What the fuck? Granted, in TNG it would probably have taken 5 seconds...

Just think of all the Bortas is gay episodes we could have with added lens flares!

Remove kurtzman.

Is it gay if he's fucking a ftm?

>Focus more on the ensemble rather than strictly on Michael. It was a mistake making her shoulder so much because the writers rarely allow her to be fallible or make mistakes (aside from the huge ones in the very first episode to set up the season), and she's shoehorned into mythology by being Spock's sister.
>Don't make Lorca an evil Mirror Mirror captain, but actually follow through on someone with PTSD from the war, who is an effective hardass but is slowly afflicted by the terrible trials he's been through. Maybe even let Burnham replace him as captain at the end - as long as the show doesn't revolve entirely around her and she is effective as part of a larger ensemble cast.
>Season-long arcs are fine, but have more self contained episodes that still contribute to the overall plot. New Eden and An Obol for Charon were good examples of this in Season 2. Doom Patrol is currently doing a good version of this, by having a general premise (rescuing Dr. Calder) as a springboard for a lot of weird and interesting individual stories.
>Hire a Trek lore expert to keep things within canon where possible - don't let it creatively limit you necessarily, but stick to it to please fans. For instance, dramatically hologram communications may work, but they aren't part of lore - so find another creative way to spice up ship-to-ship comms
>Actually map out your season long arc properly so it doesn't end with a wet fart like Season 1 did, or with a loud bang that meant nothing like Season 2.
>Order Number One to my ready room to provide milk immediately

By giving DS9 a better ending.

no one wanted a pre kirk timeline, you already failed

black female has the same face many blacks give. the confused but also concerned face. it all comes down to them not understanding something and being afraid of it. so basic. since they are afraid they feel its wrong so they must stand up against it in a state of justice.
we know though its just brainwashing to use their confused fear brain and make them useful idiots.
being concerned makes you a "good" person. dont forget that. if you feel concerned someone is in the wrong. you must confront them.

I feel like now that we got a season with Pike though, I'd be more than happy to have a Pike Enterprise show. The actors for Pike, Spock and Number One Milkers are all pretty good.

burnmen is finally gone?

holy shit that would actually work! also less women in general but more hot ones

by cancelling it.

Star Trek is such an nonredeemable pile of commie shit.

more diversity and inclusion

2016 called. they want their memes back

Massively underrated comment.
Helped me finally understand the nigger-bitchface.
BTW the male nigger makes it too, but in males the aggression is ALWAYS turned to 11 so they look and act on the verge of violence.

By not trying to set it before any of the previous Trek shows, especially the original series. That shit is retarded, especially the way the tech and other shit doesn't match or how they shoehorn in connections to other shows with no thought.

Make it an actual new series set after the TNG/DS9/VOY era. That way you can have new tech and effects that are more advanced and it makes sense. Pass the torch along to new people but still have someone like Stewart make a guest appearance as an Admiral or whatever while he's still alive. Look at how things have changed in the years since the Dominion stuff and Janeway's time shenanigans. Stuff like the slipstream drive taken from the Borg mean greater distances can be traveled in shorter amounts of time, opening up the show beyond the Alpha Quadrant without the need of wormholes.

Most importantly bring in actual decent writers instead of whoever shits out the garbage in STD.

Why are they even allowed to wear beards?

NOT fire the director who was an actual Trekkie and would´ve made it a proper thought out SciFi show.

Quick rundown on season 2? I stopped watching after the premiere.

By not having the focus on a bridge crew.
Why not follow a group of cadets at Starfleet Academy?

Watch it for yourself and find out asshole

As much as I hate Game of Thrones I think the ensemble cast and multiple main locations would be interesting for Star Trek. Have perhaps a main ship but cut to say Cardassia, Quonos or Starfleet command. If Star Trek has to be serialised in the current climate then actually run with it all the way to make something epic. Also, I'd put Garak in it.

Riker and Worf had beards

No.

Just publicly broadcast JJ Abrams' live execution.

I would have cast the captain better. You need that strong, charismatic personality to bind everyone together. Picard was wise, fair, firm, and well-read. He was a personality to be emulated. He had a flawed, human side to him but characters could always confide in him and he would always be able to help.

FUCKING MOCLANS I FUCKING HATE MOCLANS SO FUCKING MUCH REEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
