[JOHN WILLIAMS INTENSIFIES]
It's the end of the movie retard, you're supposed to walk out after it
Honestly the movie would be pretty shit if it weren't for this twist. Just watched it for the time a few months ago (and the twist hadn't been spoiled for me). It really is so fucking bizarre how it's shot and the sound design and everything).
>scene entirely dedicated to a pun
what a waste
Same. Watched this for the first time and the entire moving was boring and shitty, but this twist was really cool. Didn't see it coming.
I don't get it

Surprised it took this long to get posted. There's no other answer.

I wasn't a horror fan for many years, but I happened to catch a channel playing the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, just at the end when everything is tinted orange from the dawn sun, and it got me to catch the film, because it wasn't like anything I expected a horror movie, and a famous one, to be like. It was almost beautiful.
After I finally watched it, I definitely loved it - except for a chunk of the third act, which had a bit too much chased-in-the-fields-at-night for me up until the sunrise.
The Mist
What exactly was the twist, that Angela was the killer? It was the logical conclusion, if someone else was the killer that would be a twist. That she was insane? Duh, you could see that the killer was insane. The she really was that other of the two children you only saw once in the very beginning and already forgot about because they were fucking irrelevent to the rest of the movie? It's a shitty twist and it's not how Chekhov's gun works.
