I like the design better but what I really like about MCU and Ang Lee version of the Hulk is that they modeled the face to match the actor. which just isn't the case in this one.

The 2003 and 2008 hulk movies were good, and the hulk in those two movies was way stronger than the current hulk who's basically a punching bag.
The hulk fighting stuff scenes in this movie were great.
The Hulk vs Abomination fight is still the best on-screen fight of Hulk.
2008 was made for adults. 2019 is made for children.

Universal produced that movie. Universal pays a lot of attention to production quality. Even if movie is shitty, you can't deny picture quality and CGI/special effects.
Hulk 2003 is great desu I never got the hate for it and it's one of my favourite movies and ang lees best besides life of pie

2008 Hulk is intended to be on screen for longer than 30 seconds at a time, so they made a good 3D model plus some competent practicals so that he's tolerable to look at for so long.
2019 Hulk will have roughly 5 minutes total of screen-time and it'll mostly be in 15-20 second intervals, so they don't feel the need to make anything beyond a passing resemblance.
